Can we join a random league if we hit buy team for @29 and $50 buy in or am we the owner and have to find people to join?
We recently did our draft excited to use this app to play in a dynasty league. When we tryed to choose a player when our time came, it wouldnt allow us to choose our player only let us que them so when our time ran out they made a pick from us we were glued the the phone the whole time trying to figure out what went wrong. When we contacted the commish of the app they repeatedly told us we were wrong and that thier system doesnt glitch and that because we ran out of time we were the reason why we made a bad pick the customer service refuse to help us and return our money back saying that we are lying and they have proof. Which if they did it would show they are wrong sound like this app developer is trying to get rich off of a faulty program DO NOT WASTE your time or money in this app as we were talking to other people in our league they also said it was glitching on them as well and didnt file a complaint because they were ok with the pick that was made fund another app this one is a SCAM!
It wouldnt let us do much. Every time we clicked on something, it crashed.
Every time we open the app we always try to log in and wait for it and says they have our profile but then takes us to the screen to make a new one is that a glitch or whats up.
Im only posting this in hopes that it gets the attention of whomever will steer the customer support in the right direction as we like DO as a concept. Frankly, we previously gave a 5 star review because we enjoyed playing our first year. However, Im gonna balance that previous rating with a one star rating. Specifically because of a trend of how non-technical support issues, or commissioner decisions, have been handled. These commissioners will make swift decisions that leans heavily on how it affects DO as a company, not on how it supports you and your league. Best believe they arent going to admit they are wrong and theyll likely make a decision that involves the least amount of work. If you question their decision, youre gonna get the all mighty commissioner hand that theyve made a decision leaving you feeling unheard and powerless. You never know which commissioner is working your ticket. That and a buggy commissioner communication tool, leads us to believe they are just triaging every ticket. Regarding the missing integrity, they made a decision to bring a player back, after being kicked out, on the agreed term that he was not to sell his team. Months later, that owner asked the commissioner if he could sell his team. He was given the permission to sell. Because there are multiple commissioners handling any given inquiry, the subtext and background of the request was lost. So it was treated as a general request to sell. After being presented the background and a screenshot of the commissioner clearly stating this was a stipulation of him coming back, they still are allowing him to sell and have laid the gavel that the decision has been made. This supports our theory that DO comes first because they make a commission off of each transaction, they dont have to be the bad guy and say no, and again its easy for them to use their final authority on a troubled league to squash any objection. They didnt even provide a league vote or review. Also, its clear that they are annoyed of the amount of work being a commissioner for this one league has been in the past 3 months that they are short and in our opinion prejudicial to those who are filing complaints or inquiries. We never wrote reviews or complaints but again, feeling powerless and unheard can only make one need to vent. Hopefully venting to to finally be heard and some clear action be taken to do the right thing.
Edit: They have greatly improved the app. It is easier to navigate. One thing we wish they would add is sending notifications for any transactions or at least pending trades. Overall, it is much improved. Navigating the app is difficult. After your league drafts, you cant find the league chat, we have to go through the web browser for it. The app can be very slow and lags a lot as well. While drafting we had to close the app multiple times and reopen it to be able to draft. We had the browser page pulled up just to supplement in case we would miss a pick in the app.
We have been playing dynasty football for well over 10 years now and we absolutely LOVE contracts and finances – perfect match right? The app is slow, unorganized and not easy to use. Much more difficult that the other top dynasty apps. The desktop version freezes frequently. The messaging is terrible. Slow and difficult to read. Notifications display incorrectly. Hard to manage messages. The commissioner is not an owner or even active in your league so any issues or controversy has to be brought up with DO, instead of being discussed and/or voted on by the other teams with an active commish. DO offers little to no help with this. They only make you pay for the active season so hope and pray you get 12 owners committed. Remember, its dynasty, so if you land in a league with a couple of a-holes, someone who didnt draft well, or someone who traded all their picks away, youre stuck and gotta try to sell your team. Taking a big risk in a random league like this.
We’ve been in dynasty since 1989 Barry sanders was our first ever pick. But this site is as real as it gets. Theyre were some bugs too be worked out as we joined in just their second yr but theyve come a long way and its now our favorite fantasy game. And Im in sleeper and MFL this is the best theres constant moves being made in the off-season meaning there is no off-season. The slow draft coming next month is great bc it allows every team to entertain deals based on whats left on the board and the time needed to properly assess your options. The support team has been fantastic at getting back to us and thats quite often honestly even weekends. But the best aspect of this site is that theyre willing to listen to us as players to improve the product and thats important for us bc no other site does that. If youre just a casual player its fun. If your a serious big time player whose in it for the long haul and not just a one and done guy youll love this site. If you think your the best fantasy gm you know then get in here and prove it were waiting!
Great game that is evolving all the time. You can tell that Tim and the entire team have a huge passion for FF. Come and join the fun.
Im one year in on this new way to play fantasy football and we couldnt be happier. Player salaries add a whole new level to this, takes strategy to the Max. Having to put value on a players ability, team, salary and age changes the game and makes things more interesting and fun. If you think your good at fantasy and enjoy the strategic aspect we would 100 percent recommend dynasty owner.
Love the idea behind this platform and the guys who run it are STELLAR in their openness to a free exchange of with team managers! We’ve literally NEVER emailed our league’s commissioner where he didn’t respond within an hour or two. Also, these guys are RAPIDLY and CONSTANTLY making improvements to both mobile & desktop versions of the app!!!
Youd think as often as this app gets updated (every other day) that its be the greatest app ever! But its not. Its trash.
Commissioners kick you out of the league for collusion if you make a lopsided trade. Shoutout to Don and Timmy for stealing our $50. Terrible experience, we would recommend you look otherwise for a fantasy hosting platform.
Absolutely love this platform. Best way to play dynasty football. Unfortunately the app is garbage. Getting an error saying ‘status code 500: server error, please reload app’ with almost every other thing we do. And btw, no, reloading the app doesn’t work. Continue to get the error. Please fix..

App wont let us draft, or go to any page. Paused the draft right when it started. On our laptop too. Needs to work out the kinks.
This is a new game that is still working out the bugs but the owners and developers are great guys looking to do this right and make it fun. We highly recommend coming along for the ride and giving this new format a try!

This is a new take on dynasty football. Not only to you have manage your players age team and what system they play in. You have to worry about there salary and try to stay under the cap. It is definitely a year round league.

Oh god, another fantasy app. Recently we have been using Sleeper, and prior to that ESPN Fantasy, but this caught our attention because of the actual players salary. We think this evens out the playing field throughout our fantasy league and makes things more interesting. The user interface is well done and its just simple to navigate through from the get-go, even with the first time use. We have done a couple drafts with small groups (2-3) just to see if its worthwhile abandoning Sleeper. Whelp, we are putting Sleeper to bed. Bring on our Dynasty!

We found this fantasy football company last year and played their BETA. Im hooked. Love the concept… Really wish they had an app last year. Now they do and its sweet. Really hoping we have a football season so we can crush all our friends.
Easy to use and get started. Great way to use mock drafts to set up and prepare for the upcoming season. UI is pretty clean and easy.

As a grumpy old man who dislikes sports more and more each year, we were not expecting to be so impressed with "another" fantasy sports app. However, that’s just the thing: it’s not just "another" fantasy sports app! Dynasty Owner really allows the hardcore, next-door level fan to thrive and have fun. Even a Cleveland Browns/Michigan Wolverines fan can enjoy this. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys getting deeply involved in fantasy sports. Great app!

Dynasty Owner is a great game that actually got us interested in fantasy football. The fact that you have to run the team like an wonder with salaries turns it into a business and not just a league based on stats. The app works great, too!
