Its a shame to discover this years after its initial release. Its worth the few bucks now for an entertaining little game with a whole lot of optional grinding to unlock everything. Theres a bit of a mid-game learning curve that once you break through it seems like the difficulty becomes nominal. Theres a lot of repetitive farming, so your classic RPG formula with plenty of town building aspects.

The game is pretty interesting. The story is fun and the dialogue between characters is really well written. It kinda starts faltering when it comes to the gameplay. They describe it as simple, and that is the biggest problem. At the start, its pretty fun for a little bit, but then you start to see that every dungeon is the same two level structure, just with a different intelligible layout each time. You’ll fight new monsters that can do different things and they also drop stuff, but you dont do anything with those drops other than to make furniture or to give to the towns residents. Theres also no weapon progression or weapon system. You only get stronger through leveling your character up. It would have been amazing to go through these dungeons and use the stuff you collect to upgrade your weapon, maybe get you armor, and other stuff on top of the furniture system. Without that cohesion between a weapon system and the dungeons spoils, the gameplay starts to get dry as you level up simply and play levels that dont offer much difference from the last. We do think everything else is great for this game though, and we think if they just added a weapon system or something to make Chabo stronger aside from the leveling, the game would have been even better. Even without more varied levels. Story is good though, the dialogue is great, characters are cool (redcaps look awesome) and we just like the vibe of this game. Hoping they make something in a similar style. ExceptThe stiff level design gets exacerbated.

Even if we have spirits that are compatible and link up they dont actually link up. Level 38 been using Sizzie, Zypha and Thalia they haven’t synchronized at all or had dialogue between them in battles. Theyre all level 40+ and have 2 stars evolved, still no Link up attacks. Good game, just a bit quick to finish, and fun dialogue. Gives the same sense as Legend of Mana with a main character who gets lost with fun characters who have a lot of personality. Would be 5 stars if they had the bonus eggs involved like in the Japanese version, and fixed the glitch with Spirits not linking up. Wouldve like bonus content with the other characters, and more quests afterwards to make use of the lands instead of just harvesting for Furniture.

So far this game is absolutely fantastic. It reminds us of one of our childhood favorites – Legend of Mana. It brings back all the memories and gives something fresh to play around with. Im loving the characters and story. We hope its worth paying the money, cause the trial version got us hooked. Will keep updating along the way. Cheers!

Tired of purchasing apps that dont transfer to new devices as this was saved on iCloud but still failed to operate on new iPhone device after app was transferred. Shows error message of There was an error connecting to the server. Wont work with either Wi-Fi or cellular connection. Apparently this developer now made it only available offline (at the complete loss to those who actually had bought the original app that had required internet connection) with no tech support to assist with this issue. Now have to supposedly repurchase the offline version. NOT HAPPENING. Apparently this developer doesnt want to sell apps in the future. Remember this developer so you are NOT caught being taken advantage of.

The similarity with legend of mana is amaze me.

We were waiting for the original app to update with the offline mode and didnt realize they meant they were making a separate app thus we missed the transfer deadline and cant move our original save over anymore. It would have been nice if they left the transfer process open for a longer duration for those who are busy and misguided like we were. Its a fun game and all, but we dont want to replay it after working so hard in the original app. We also was never bothered by it being an online game but gee thanks everyone for whining. Im still going to look forward to their next game as this doesnt tarnish how much we love the worlds they create, but thats it for this game for us. We hope they do better next time.

We purchased this game over a year ago. In that time the company decided to move to a pay to unlock scheme. Fine. Here is the problem – we had deleted the app without requesting a pass key. Now, even though we purchased this once before we would have to purchase it AGAIN and by each individual character to get the full enjoyment out of it…. We did not contract for that. They still offer the game, we should receive it completely unlocked or they should remove it from the apple store. This is fraud and we will be reporting it.

Thank you for being one of the few mobile developers to make your rpg offline! Too many of them are online only. We are glad this one isnt.

This game was previously just called "Egglia" and required an online connection. They decided to move this premium app to a separate app that was offline and still charge $10 for it. If their really clunky transfer process didn’t work for you they expected you to rebuy. When trying to deal with these issues with support, all they would do is redirect to buy it again from the new app for full price ($10). We won’t pay again for something we already bought and we won’t even consider buying anything else this developer and/or publisher produces since they don’t have any care for consumers. If you care about being able to use the games or apps you get on the AppStore, I’d think twice before getting this.
