Community Insight:
As a parsimonious consumer, we found this game proficuous in uplifting our vocabularic breadth while being unparagoned in price and value. We are now a sesquipedialian, master of eloquence, and the cynosure of all social groups. Do not mistake our words, for we are not gasconading. We merely owe our cupidity to succeed and to rise as a bellwether of words to this app.
It has a superb way of putting our English to the test. A lot of the words Ive seen, we can hardly recall most of them. Uff. Keep up the good work.
Looking forward to playing your new game.
We like the idea of the app, but it would sure be nice if we could adjust the speed of the timer. It goes so fast that we just get discouraged and give up rather than motivating us to get faster. Maybe allow the user a little control over the timer? Challenge them to try it faster next time. Stuff like that.
Great concept, but the time limit makes it impossible to play. We cant even read the prompt in two seconds, let alone answer it.To make things worse, nobody seems to be fixing the issue. Ive seen comments from 4 and 2 years ago addressing the same issue and still no improvement. Please fix it.
The timer goes by too fast. Especially since the definitions of the words are sometimes full length sentences that would take us more than two seconds to read and take a guess.
Would be better if the timer wasnt so fast or even there at all.
The 2s time limit really takes away from the learning aspect of the game. It seems your game is only focussing on testing what we already know – how can you learn and assimilate an unfamiliar word in 2s or less? There should be a way for the player to change that based on their age range and speed in order to have a fair game.
The time gIven to read the question is way too fast. Give people the option to set the time you want or Have two different versions one where youre timed (still slow it down)and one where you are not timed but scored.
This could be a really fun app, but the timer counts down so quickly, its ridiculous. There is no way to adjust the timer, have to delete what could have been fun.
We can barely read a couple words of the definition before the time runs out. This game needs to allow you to turn off the timer or at least self adjust depending on how many words are on the screen.
We dont like the scoring method. It is obscure and impossible to figure out. The program jumps to ads just as you are getting started. Totally maddening.
Hate the sound needs a options menu to disable.
We dont see how anyone can possibly read the definition that quick, process it, and then choose the right word.. Thumbs down.
App/Games that dont have any options and dont honor system audio settings are a pointless. No way to mute buzzer/audio. No way to change timing and build up speed. This just throws you out on the highway with 75 mph traffic hurtling toward you.
We dont like to leave bad reviews, but this app needs a makeover! Ok, come on. There is nobody out there who can read, process, and choose the correct answer for a question in just one second! This needs fixed. We had the app for about 2 minutes and deleted it because it is annoying and frustrating.
This game would TOTALLY get 5 stars if it gave you more than a second to read the definition and process the options. There should be at least 10 seconds to read the definition and choose between the options. We not only want to become more eloquent but actually process and learn the words before us.
