We really enjoyed doing this game! Its well written and challenging. A little hard for our 10yo, but the teens loved it! It would be a fun date night at home!
We used this as a team building adventure for new employees (K-8 elementary school). So fun!! All 3 teams solved the mystery and saved the cruise. We had never been to an escape room and had to facilitate the activity. We needed some support. Our emails were answered quickly and the fun commenced! We highly recommend this app!
This game has been stuck on our phone for almost 2 months we uninstall multiple times and it keeps appearing it says open u cant open nor uninstalled it not understanding why it keeps on appearing when we turn our phone on and off this needs to be fixed thank u.
Our kids absolutely loved it. They played it when their friends came over and we were glad they were off the screens and doing something more logical and analytical.
We used this as a team building event for our professional fraternity and it was a huge success! For the parts where they got stuck the hints got them on the right track.
We have three kids, each three years apart so its sometimes hard to find games for family game night that everyone loves. But this app is it!!! Reasonably priced without lacking quality. It was definitely much harder than we expected and we havent beat the timers in most but love that it lets you keep going even after the time is up. Our family had a new favorite!!
Always wanted to try an escape room but missed the registration. Our boyfriend got this on Groupon and Im so glad he did! The countdown element gave us the excitement we need and the puzzles are quick and fun! Will do all 5 missions and look forward to future missions!!!
The game was amazing! We enjoyed the puzzles and the interactive and physical nature of each level really helped us have more fun. We wish that the project gets continued… Pls.
As it was, our family and we enjoyed Escape Team immensely, playing through the scenarios to various degrees of success. The interface was well thought out and made the puzzles much more engaging than they would be without it. The recent inclusion of DIY missions takes this from a great game to a wonderful creative tool, allowing you the freedom to use the interface for your own escape room missions you make yourself. Tell no one, but we would have paid way more for this! Such fun.
Our family loves murder-mysteries and escape rooms, so this was right down our alley. The price was so reasonable, we were afraid it would be poor quality, but it was challenging and fun. It was wonderful to have our 17-year-old fully engaged in solving the clues! When we made a mistake in unlocking the third mission, customer service was what customer service is supposed to be, which is so rare these days. We got prompt response from the creator of the missions himself, and he resolved the problem in just a few minutes. Highly recommend!

We did this activity with our high school geometry students the last day before winter break. They loved it. We have never had a class more engaged. The creators did an outstanding job!!!! We would highly recommend it. We even did the activity with our wife, 6-year old daughter and 8-year old son. They needed a little guidance, but were into it as well. Great job!!!
We dont normally write reviews but this game is unique and deserves a review. The puzzles are excellent and rooms are inexpensive. The timer and timed clues make this very much like a real escape room experience. Our group of 4 missed one room by 1.5 seconds and got another with 8 seconds left. This is not a play-on-the-bus puzzler, but a great small party experience.
The best word we can use to describe the Escape Team app/game is mediocre. There are a few problems that need to be addressed: 1) This game is clearly designed/voiced by people who do not speak English as a first language. We have nothing against non-English speakers, but the broken English youll encounter in this game makes it very difficult to invest yourself in the story. At the very least, the script should have been audited by a native English speaker before voiceover was recorded. 2) The clues provided by the app are worthless because they come far too late. For example, in Mission #1 the clues mostly come after the timer has already expired. If the clues are going to be useful, they need to provide players with the ability to use the clues before the mission timer expires. 3) The training mission is so stupidly easy a child could figure it out, but them Mission #1 is so stupidly difficult that several college-educated adults working together will have remarkable trouble figuring out the puzzles. This step in difficulty makes the game no fun. Ultimately, this game feels unpolished and is not very fun. The story that the app tries to tell is ridiculous, weird, and unbelievable. Theres almost nothing that draws any players into the story. We certainly would not spend any money on the game knowing what we know now.
We ended up having to double purchase the missions, because we used our groupon on the app we downloaded. The sound wouldnt work, but it worked fine on our boyfriends android.
The audio isnt working and we cant find anyway to contact support to help us troubleshoot it.
Puzzles look fun but there is no sound coming out of IPhone, only IPad works but the code only works once. Please fix this.
We wanted to play this with our family, but the audio message at the beginning didnt work. We exited out, re-downloaded the app, and still cant figure out if we are doing something wrong or if the app is malfunctioning.
While we consider myself an escape room enthusiast, we’ve been looking for an app to play at home without having to convince friends to join us in a really room. We didnt have high expectations, but the puzzles were exciting, the story silly and we looked forward to beating the clock. We couldnt wait to download all the missions.
Our 7 year olds and we haven’t finished any in time yet but we’ve been close a couple of times. Even then we’ve always had fun.
