We were really enjoying this game, upon making it to stage 81 in order to advance and unlock new world you have to upgrade your stats 2250+ (Ive only just hit 2000 and then it updated to requiring 2250 times, we wouldnt be surprised if it increases again)and it locks you out of actually playing the game, you cant replay stages you have already complete or galaxy quests, all you can do is quick patrol. There are a few other requirements but hose werent as bad. Would have loved to have left our original 5 star review but locking players out of the actual game is horrible.
This game had some Potential. However it doesnt do much that similar games havent been doing. More importantly for us is how the devs react to feedback, they rebalanced the main mode around p2w, meaning new players will take forever to progress, and existing f2p players are now stuck for WEEKS. We did the math Im bottlenecked till next month. Id rather find a different game thanks. :/.
This game is very entertaining and we like the color and that old retro arcade style you devs picked its fitting and we hope more is added one day 10/10.
Im enjoying the game, but we wish there were more diverse strategy options. There seems to be a clear-cut best strategy (just get as many missiles as you can, ideally with the nuke upgrade. Maybe throw in some poison if you can get the poison spread upgrade, otherwise try to speed up rage). We kind of wish there was a more diverse set of strategies, e.g. This works well on these enemies, but to beat those enemies you need to focus on burn, or something like that. Im still having fun, but feeling like we dont have any options to adapt if Im not getting enough missile upgrades – our game is basically screwed in that case.
This game is a borderline 5 stars. Its very enjoyable and addicting. However, the biggest elephant in the room is that a couple enemies have broken mechanics, namely the Repairer and Stellar Cataclysm. In our opinion, the Repairers healing mechanic itself is perfectly fine, but it should not have the ability to heal other Repairers because it basically makes them unkillable unless the rage mode is activated. With the Stellar Cataclysm, its mechanic is super inconsistent and at times it teleports both times near instantaneously to the tower and wrecks it. There is no way that it should be able to teleport on the Tower so quickly after spawning. This makes what should be routine levels nearly impossible to pass for several days. It should be consistent to where is spawns 2 or 3 Waves of Plasma Scouts before teleporting. Other than these 2 suggestions to rebalance these two enemy mechanics, the game is very balanced and fun.
This is a great game to pass the time,right up until you get to about level 40,then it becomes literally impossible to pass levels lol Im talking going 1-2 weeks and waiting on your upgrades to even pass a single stage hard.
After completing chapter 2 we can't get to the tower unlocking part.
In the later levels If you waste your time watching an ad to revive, you almost always immediately die again. A few seconds of invincibility would be great to clear out the enemies that killed you.
Fun game, very addictive, and enjoy the mechanics.
Very colorful game. It's fun and the gameplay loop is pretty satisfying. There's a variety of turrets and powers to enhance your cannon. It combines tower defense, bullet heaven, and roguelike games. The combination works well. On the other hand progression can be too slow if you dont build properly, get a ton of resources, and/or spend some money. Backgrounds should have higher resolution. The quests you have to do to get past level 80 (2000 total level, complete level 80, and more) run too long, and if youre not a spender or really lucky, you might just quit. A huge misstep is theres no way to play previous levels, so until you complete the New World quests you are stuck. But if you can get past all this, check Falltopia out. 3/5.
The game itself is fun. The neon colors really draw in and hold your attention. Progress isnt painfully slow. The optional ads can definitely speed up your progress, which is great! The devs are great at addressing concerns quickly and effectively. Our only complaint is that we reached the end of the game as far as the current update allows. After level 110, the difficulty and rewards remain the same indefinitely (we assume thisll be fixed with the next update). And in the Galaxy defense event, it seems that right now level 500 is the max wave you can reach, as no matter how many times we clear it, Im not able to advance, despite successfully clearing the wave. (This too we imagine will be fixed next update). But overall this is a fun game, and we cant wait for new content.
Its a fun game so far you quickly level up and become stronger! Optional ads to help upgrade your defense weapons we like it.
