Its fun little game could use a few updates.
We are writing to you to express the frustration we've had playing this game. We were robbed of our fish and tanks. We noticed on Saturday, October 21, 2017 that we had only about ten fish and 1 tank. We are a faithful honest game player. It's a shame to have been robbed of our merchandise that we purchased with our card. If you take a look at our history of play you can see there is proof of payment. As well, as our level in the game, we do not remember the exact level we were on but we were pushed back to level 9. We've had this game for many years and it is upsetting to have had this happen. We would like for everything we put into this game to be given back to us. If not we will seek legal guidance. This is robbery. Very Unacceptable. We have pictures of proof of our progress in this game. We put our hard work money into this game. We want our fish, tanks, accessories, level, coin amount, and number of diamonds returned. Thank You.
With the latest update of April 15, 2016…our game will not even open. This is terrible. Plus the icon for the app changed so much it looks like maybe now it has turned into a game for the really young kids only. We were enjoying our tank and our fish….now we hope it gets fixed and all of our fish and points and stuff is still there and does not look totally different.
We love game like this relaxing and fun to play keep creating more like this thank you.

We have been playing this game for awhile. Everything was going alright since the last "crash". We had saved over 300 thousand coins and 300 gems. Most of the money we spend on games goes to this one. After we had saved all those coins and gems we found most of our decorations missing! Just vanished! To replace the decorations it took most of the coins and gems that we had. We did not complain to the support address. We eventually got back to over 300 thousand coins. We could never recover the gems. Just the other day we went to check our tanks and we couldn't believe it! Our decorations are missing again!!! This time we can't afford to replace our decors because we don't have the gems. Why is it that when we get over 300 thousand coins our decorations disappear? We would like to replace our decors but at the same time we're not sure we want to keep getting disappointed! The really sad thing is we can't find a support email address that works! So we feel like we have been left hanging from a limb. We would love for someone from the support team to contact us.
We love this game but it needs an update, we are tired of the same Christmas themed fish under new.
This game is fun and addicting. We have always wanted fish, and these are much easier to take care of digital fish. If you like this game then we would recommend fish with attitude! Have fun guys! Byeeeeee.
Right when we first downloaded the game, it had us registered as someone else. Logged off, re-registered. Started playing, all of a sudden had a bunch of neighbors that we never accepted. Then we got booted off, and the game claimed we were someone else. Logged off. Tried to log back in to our aquarium, game says we don't exist. After reaching level 12, we're very annoyed. Serious security issues. Would not trust this game.
Has anyone experienced opening your app to find you have someone else's fish tank? We have had 3, ours are GONE!!! We have contacted the developer and have heard back once with someone else's ID#! They used their FaceBook account and now they are tied into our account, don't use this app.

We wonder if anyone else is having trouble with sick fish? Monday it was only 9 hours and then you have to pay a gem for each tank ( we have 6 ). Three other times it has been 12-18 hours. So What's Up.
We have put a lot of MONEY in this GAME and LOVED IT only for our seas to b EMPTY the next morning! Who is going to PAY ME BACK.

Ok we made a profile two days after we got the game there has been two updates we seen the holiday ones but for the Christmas one it keeps restarting like we've had the same fish evolving for 4 days now and we're starting to unlike the game because it won't let us continue playing and to level up (but when these bugs are fixed our review will change and if there's no bugs we will rate 5 stars.

It's the best game we ever played . Buy the game.
Don't upgrade can't open it and keeps looping no matter how many times you try and retry. We give up on this game. Will delete it and move on. What idiot tested this before offering it as an upgrade.
Our only complaint is that our "sea" is constantly "needing cleaning" and you can't make any purchases or do anything until "the powers that are" decide that your CONTINUOUS cleaning will finally be recognized!!! It is ridiculous! The new app just arrived. It would be nice if the items needing "rubies" were more affordable.
We started having the startup problem yesterday BEFORE installing the upgrade. We intalled the upgrade today (before reading your reviews) and the problem at startup remains. This is our kid's favorite game so we hope they solve the problem soon.
We JUST WENT TO LOGIN TO MY KIDS TANKS AND THEY HAVE ALL DISAPPEARED. IT GAVE ME A MESSAGE WELCOMING ME! We Hope this is glitch. We have spent well over $100 on Gems and our two kids are heartbroken there fish are gone. We have emailed the company but have not heard back. We are glad we are not the only one with the message showing "we need Internet for this game". We are so disappointed. The one thing we can say is we hope that if and when this is fixed we are NOT penalized by using gems to REVIVE our fish. No one should have to use an APP everyday and if you have supported the company by purchasing coins and gems, it is criminal that they railroad you into buying more gems because you have gone on a business trip and were not able to play this game. It is a fun thing to do, but not worth spending hundreds of dollars on. Please make it easier to get gems and stop taking away the fish we buy with gems once we breed them. We paid for them.
Horrible game, our friends & we total 27 people played the game for months, it was fun, & then our gems & gem items start to disappear, we don't know each other's password, & none of us give password to any one else…our friend wasted $50 to buy gem, didn't use the gems immediately, & it disappeared the second day. Other friends found gem items or gem background disappeared..& all of us are very angry, we don't care if it is technique problem or what…this is way too bad…& the game doesn't provide any method to earn gems, the only way to get gems is use actually $ to buy them…Absolutely hate the producer, never gonna play any game from the same producer.
It keeps on saying we don't have Internet and we do. Another thing we wish we wouldn't have to revive our fish we mean really we can't just play it every single day we have school and another game we have doesn't let the fish get sick so big fix on that please.
Has said "need Internet access"! We are connected and it has NOT worked.
Now every time we try to open it, we get a message that Fantastic Fishies is an online game…BUT we AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. We can use Safari and Netflix no problem, but Fantastic Fishies can't find the Internet, so we can't feed our fish. Lovely. Also, you no longer give XP for buying fish! Fix it.
We cannot open the game. It's annoying when we've invested time (not money) into this game and can't access it.
Upgrade will not work on our iPad. We hate to say, but we even spent money on tokens. All for what????????? No game and lost money.

DON'T UPGRADE if you love your game the way it has always been. This new upgrade changes the ambiance of every background. They totally redid them all, and they just don't look as good. Yes, they are more clear and "better" for the new iPad displays — but IMHO they have lost the beauty of every background and managed to make them all look cheesy. ALL the new added fish are ugly and garish. Most are goth. Most new decor is goth. None of the new additions are cute and disney-like to match the style of all the previous fish and decor. The new ones are all more Dr. Seuss-like, or something out of Beetlejuice, with too many bright primary colors added to each fish. It looks like a goth-flavored Gypsy Carnival. The new fish clash with the style of all the previous fish.They have also lost the Pixar-like smoothness that made the older fish look 3D. It almost looks like a different game. We didn't see any new tank. Just some new backgrounds. We still only had six tanks to fill with fish. We want our game the way it was, with the soft and beautiful backgrounds. Also, we don't want to have to see those new ugly fish in anyone else's tanks, so we used Time Machine to roll back to our previous game version. Hopefully, that will render the new fish and decor invisible. We love this game the way it was. Why or why did they ruin a good thing? :( Edit: At the time we wrote this, the backgrounds and fish shown in the iPad screenshots, above, are the old backgrounds and fish from the previous version.
All of their fishes are so cute.
We really like Fantastic fishes because it teaches young children responsibility of taking care of a pet!!!! Our niece even enjoys playing the game. And it's easy and fun to play.

We've been playing this game for a long time, and we are thinking of quitting even though we have built up five lovely seas and made it to a pretty high level. This is why: – The updates are infrequent (maybe every 2-3 months), and often introduce more bugs than they fix. – The "technical support" team is slow to respond to e-mails, and do not necessarily understand the problems you are experiencing. We think there is a language barrier, but since we don't know what language(s) they speak the best we can do is try to use simple English words and explain our problem is more than one way. (we really hope this is not insulting to them.) – The problem we have been experiencing for the past month or so is that almost every day the game refuses to open – we can delete the game, go to the iTunes app store and download it again without finding ourselves back to level one, but often this means that the things we did the day before (like feed our fish) have magically disappeared… It is like we go back in time to yesterday. – You are supposed to receive a reward every consecutive day that you play the game — the fifth day is a free jackpot spin — but if we have to delete and re-download the game every day, it appears that it is always the first day and we don't make it to the fifth-day jackpot spin. – we don't know if other players experience this, but we have found that if we don't return to our game at least every 24 hours, our fish get sick and we have to spend money to revive them. Alternatively we can "flush" the whole tank, we.e., not spend any money and lose all our fish. There does not appear to be a way to selectively save some fish (like the expensive ones) and flush others (like the cheap, replaceable ones) for a lower cost, such as coins (the money currency that you earn by playing the game) instead of gems (the second form of currency that you can only acquire in sufficient quantities if you send $5-$10 bucks to the iTunes store). If the developers ever read these reviews, this would be a really useful improvement for the next update.
