Farkle Diced for Halloween is an exciting fast paced dice game for 2 – 4 players. The goal is to survive until your reach 10,000 points. You can try to beat the computer players or your friends. You’ll have hours and hours of wicked entertainment.
Both new and experienced players will love the clarity of the playing board and how quickly you can finish a game while in a meeting (before someone notices). If you do play in a meeting, turn the sound down as the there are lots of screams and howling in the game. Then after the meeting, turn the sound way up to fully experience the spookiness.
Achievements, achievements, achievements! You are now rewarded for that fantastic roll or super win. You can view the list of achievements through the Settings menu (Select Game Center). There are two mystery ones – can you discover what they are?
100% dice randomization to prevent cheating. Each roll uses a robust randomization algorithm implemented by our lead engineer (an MIT graduate!). The computer player has the same chance you do. Sometimes, you have to take that extra risk and roll again!

We love Farkle and had three versions that from the graphics look like they are all by the same developer. We uninstalled two of them. In all three versions you can list your picks for three rolls, but the forth roll is almost certain to be a Farkle. Not always, but about 80% of the time. It seems to affect the AI the same way. So at least the game isnt prejudiced in favor of the computer. The bad thing about that is that you are discouraged from taking risks to see how far you can push it . And isnt the element of risk what its all about?
Yeah it’s a free game and ads make free games possible. We can deal with the banner ads. But the full page ads that pop up after every single game are just too obnoxious. Especially since half of of them are loud obnoxious video ads that you have to wait 5 seconds to dismiss. We have to mute the sound on the iPad to play because of the ads. It’s sad because it’s a great game and the best Farkle game we’ve found in our admittedly short time playing. Too bad the ads are just too much. There are other Farkle games that don’t have as cute graphics but aren’t so ad ridden.
We’ve been playing this version on and off for a few years. But recently its been crashing on a regular basis. Maybe it needs an update? Hint Hint.
This simply changes the graphics from Farkle. Unfortunately, the sound went away with iOs9, and there are occasional glitches with scoring. Though it is still fun to play.

We played this game as a kid but it is so much easier and faster with the computer rolling and scoring the dice. No bugs. Fantastic quick game that can be addicting. Love the idea of playing the computer or handing the phone back and forth to play a human player. Easy game for kids to learn. We would like it better if the game themes could change rather than download a different version. We have a Halloween theme but we still like it. Go download the game! You’ll like it!

We enjoy playing Farkle with friends, but this is a nice way to pass a few minutes when that’s not an option. We like the fun sound effects. We think the Grim Reaper may be cheating, but we’re not going to be the one to tell him.

We love Farkle. It’s a shame we can’t give it five stars, but with the game so rigged for the computer, it’s not possible. If we win a game, we know that like a petulant child, the computer is going to make us Farkle over and over and over again! If you could give both sides a fair score, it would be a lot more fun, & the rating could go to 5 stars.
Like it but the scoring system is different from what we’re used to in farkle and the random dice throw too often ends in a farkle, otherwise thanks for the app!

Even more enjoyable than the western original solely due to the Halloween sound FX, we can find myself playing this version most of the time for that reason alone. Ideally one app combining both versions would be super but that probably won’t happen. The addition of stats would make it a real treat.

This is a fun, easy game that gives you the opportunity to play alone, against the computer or against friends. There are cues for newbies, but you don’t have to use them. Yes, the ads are annoying, but hey, the game is free, right?! If you don’t want the ads, you can purchase the full version. We hope they develop the Spicy Farkle version soon.
