So we originally got this app on Android shortly after it came out. We think we even submitted feedback on bugs a couple times. This is without a doubt, the best 5e character sheet on any device. It was wonky on iphone back in 2017/2018 from memory, but now that we’re on an iphone it seems like it’s now the same quality across the board. Some very minor annoyances we’ve carried since the get-go have been mostly regarding feats and certain class features that it automatically writes down for you. Some things really need the FULL text so you know exactly what you can do, but it also allows you to rewrite everything so it allows you to fix that! If you’re a veteran player, then you probably won’t need to rewrite anything, but it gives you the option. We say again, it’s the most downloaded for a reason. Though we always reccomend having thing AS WELL AS a paper character sheet, just to make sure things are right…
Great app, super convenient, especially the camera text feature!
This app has been great for tracking almost all our characters needs. However, there are occasional crashes, but never have we lost any data.
We only wish it had spell descriptions.

Straightforward process very useful for quick character making and very user friendly.
Have owned this app for 5+ years. The app is awesome. Full stop. There is no better 5e character sheet app. Buy the premium. Also, we would like a spell description page added. Even if we have to manually input the spell info it would be nice to have a page or addition to the current spell page that had space for the details of our spells.
This app has been invaluable to us. The layout and UI are both easier to use than dnd beyond, not to mention how much easier making characters is, as well as the fact that the premium version is so cheap! The only thing we would like added is increased organization for our characters, such as folders or something. Great app!
This app is perfect for making and storing multiple characters. We only wish there was a way to reorganize our now 90+ character list. Or like folders or something.
We really like this app. It makes it easy to create characters, our friends and we swear by it. Weve been using it for a few years now. But we noticed we dont have the monsters of the multiverse content but our friends that use android do. Does anyone know why?
We currently have the free version, but after reading reviews, Ill most likely pay the $3 (which is an amazing deal for all that is offered). This app has all the options we need for character races and class. No other (that we’ve found so far) has given us those options. We definitely recommend this app!
When is the update for Spelljammer races.
Very good, we can make a character in less than 5 minutes and actually play dnd.
This app is our favorite by far and we are always willing to contest its superiority over D&D Beyond. That said it is presently (8/5/22) due for an update. At the moment it is missing updates to races from Monsters of the multiverse and some newer races like owlin from strixhaven.
Love the app. But we think it could be a little better. Maybe add a way for people to have multiple spell/note pages. That way when they multi-class they can separate their spells easier and have better spell slots for their spells. Also would be cool to have a easier way to add custom data such as homebrew classes/subclasses.
We really love being able to keep a simple character sheet to reference on our phone. The app works great. Our only recommendation would be a spell points add on.
Great app. There are a couple of more unusual races that are unavailable, such as Grung (frog folk), but those are few and far between. Overall the best way we’ve found to make digital sheets.
We absolutely love this app. Very easy to use and navigate. We got our entire DnD group using it and they love it. Our only question is when will they be adding Blood Hunter to the classes?
You cant change max Hp after making your person, also add a dice roller please.
This app is a 10/10, us and our group all got this app when we started playing in 2018 and this app has helped us every step of the way even now.
We’ve been using this app for 4 years now. Its incredibly useful for character creation. It constantly updates all the races, subraces, and subclass features as they come out. Again, we’ve been on this app for 4 years. So seeing all these new updates come out, and without being charged a dime for them. Amazing. We kinda feel guilty that all we spent on this is the dollar to access leveling up. This app is worth way more in our opinion. Also a big plus that internet connection is not required once you have the app. We sponsor a D&D club at a high school, and this is the app we recommend to our students, specially since we cannot access a lot of D&D websites through the school wifi.
It keeps everything organized and is very useful especially for a beginner like me.

Perfectly useful for quickly generating new characters for 5e. Even cooler that newer updates add races from newer supplements.
We’ve been using this e-character sheet since 2018 at latest. We swear before then. We’ve noticed little additions here and there, keeping well up-to-date with the most current 5e books despite some major changes in some of these books. At $3 for the premium upgrade, its fairly priced for a game where the cheapest thing tends to be around $20. We love this streamlined approach and wish that he had the license so that he didnt have to name things in like-terms. Though the creativity displayed in speaking around the copyright is sometimes entertaining in itself! 10/5 stars, would highly recommend!
We have had this app for 10 years at least. We contacted the developer when we wished to an iPhone (dont judge lol). He realized the app to the iPhone as well. We cant say in words how much we appreciate that this app is kept so up to date. Seriously, this is only way we do Character Sheets.
The character builder is easy to understand and it allows for quick, on the go creation if you need a character at the ready. The only thing is it’s missing the bloodhunter class, but it’s amazing in every other way.
Creating a character on paper took us hours to do (looking back and forth between the player guide, in different sections, all over the place). Using this app allowed us to create our character in about 2 minutes. Super simple. We recommend for all, especially new, players.
Aside from D&D Beyond, this is our primary form of character creation. We really enjoy making them and coming up with new character concepts to use. Our only suggestion is add the Blood Hunter class to it. We know its not technically official, but we feel like by now its worth adding. Gunslinger would be cool too but thats a different story.
Overall a great app. Sure it needs a few little character specific tweaks (ie no thieves tool skill) but we’ve found it invaluable. If you like to test run a character, a quick and easy way to see how your build stacks up. Id love the ability to backup char to phone instead of google drive as, for some reason, we cant restore a character to previous level if we screw something up.
Loved this app not only is it helpful for organizing your character sheet but also help you create them very cool.
By far the app we’ve used the most to make our characters on the fly. Its been more than helpful over the years we’ve used it. That being said it will not let us restore our purchase on our new phone (though we had switched from and android to an iphone so that might have something to do with it)
We ran into it a couple years back as a player and DM its a very useful tool for both sides of the screen we still love our paper and pencil at our table but its nice for quick and moblie use, really nice for new players to the table so we can get them up and going fast so they can get straight into the fun also useful for backing up all our characters and players sheets in case they get lost or forgotten also a useful replacement for sheets altogether period.
The fact that you can get everything for 3 bucks is wonderful and it cant be beat. But for spellcaster classes are alot harder to use as you need two separate apps to use em with this app or you need to copy and paste spells into your notes. The custom builder app for this is also sadly not on IOS which restricts the audience who use iPhones which is quite a few us included. But other than these few issues we find this app amazing keep up the good work.

It keeps crashing. Sometimes, it lasts an hour or two. Sometimes seconds. We’ve lost paragraphs of character details because of this. We could not find a way to report the bug either. That said. This is a phenomenal app. It has an easy-to-look-at interface, it makes 5e character creation easier, leveling up has never been simpler, and its very intuitive as far as changing stats/hp/ac and otherwise. We recommend this app to anyone and everyone. Pay for the full version. We mean, you dont have to. But do it anyway. It is absolutely worth it. We’ve never had any issues with this app before now, so we still think its a solid app worth the price.

This app is great and fantastic and we understand how long this would take to update the app. One would like to get an idea or estimate of how long till the update. Even if there will be an update. Other than that this app is amazing.

This app is the best bang for the buck, whether we want to just theory craft a build or find a character that we want to play in a campaign, its a simple 5 minutes to a fully built character sheet! Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys building new characters and searching for the perfect fit to the next game day!

This app is great for 5e. It is worth the upgraded version. We bought it years ago and it has come incredibly handy all throughout, so if in doubt, purchase. One small problem that we seem to have personally is that it keeps crashing on us and we lose all our progress. It didnt use to happen in our previous phone. Im looking for a way to contact support but there seems to be no way to. Im using an iPhone X Plus. To the developer(s); The in-app, the pages fit weird into the screen, like a little oversized. And when we swipe pages it sometimes overlaps and just as we can scroll from up to down in the features & equipment page we can also scroll from right to left. When we swipe pages or scroll from right to left it many times crashes and we lose all the last edits we did before the last hidden autosave or last time we closed and opened the app. -I appreciate the yearly maintenance but would further appreciate a fix for this. Perhaps iPhone X Plus is not specifically supported? Or may it be something from our side which we could change with certain settings? We have tried re-downloading and it does not fix this issue. Ill be waiting for an answer, and thank you for your time.
A very streamlined approach to creating a character. We dont know why anyone wouldnt pay for the upgrade because not only are you getting access to the best and fastest character creator, but also supporting a very detail oriented and passionate creator. Would give 10/5 stars if possible.
