A Glimpse into Finger Paint With Sounds

Explore touch with colour, sounds or music. An opportunity to finger paint without the mess! Finger Paint with Sounds offers a fun alternative to help children with special needs and others to practice their first interactions with a touch screen. Simply choose a colour and draw with music, fun sound effects or no sound at all.

Finger Paint with Sounds offers multi-touch and single-touch options. We suggest that single finger touch is better for some users with special needs as it reinforces finger pointing skills with a purpose rather than encouraging a random whole finger approach (may be difficult to un-learn). Using multi-touch gives a more obvious “cause and effect” activity for some.

Try turning off the sound and music to see if the child needs auditory feedback or if they can see and enjoy the visual feedback alone.

  • Choose single-touch to encourage finger pointing skills.
  • Choose multi-touch for maximum cause and effect.
  • Bright feedback for children with visual impairments.
  • Save your best work to “Photos”.
  • Choice of musical or sound-FX auditory feedback or none.

It’s a good app that our kid loves; the only real problem is that the Save function doesn’t work. A tip: Use Guided Access, under Accessibility in Settings, to ensure that your kid can’t exit the app.

We would make normal brush sounds, but besides that it is perfect!! Multi touch easy to use.. Thank you soo much great app!!

Excellent visual and sound effects, especially the music. Nice app to help build fine motor skills. Provides visual and audio reinforcements.

Our iPad is telling us unless you update it will not be compatible with the next iOS ….. Please update this is a very good app we like to us in the classroom with our special needs student it gives her the auditory feedback she needs to be interested.

Helps to promote fine motor skills, great audio and visual provides student reinforcement, can also be used for letter writing practice.

We love this, it is simple yet open ended enough to be intriguing to to our students as well. It is even fun just as a reward for kids who are past learning cause/effect- they enjoy drawing and exploring the different sounds and colors. For the user who keeps swiping out of the app, go into your iPad settings, go to General, then turn off Multitasking Gestures (have experienced the same issue in the past!) one request- we would love to make the sound effect for the yellow color more quiet, it is more jarring than the rest. Music mode is our favorite!

The app is very cute and we love it. Just wish they offered some slower, classical choices in music to help kids relax while painting. Nice app, though!

Our 2 year old absolutely loves this app. We only have one issue and that’s when you touch the sides of the screen it will switch pages and actually leave the app. Which causes us to have to reset the whole thing. And considering our 2 year old goes crazy having fun this happens almost every 5 secs now. Otherwise a great free app.

Our students and daughter all love this app, we rather like it myself. We like the sounds and the colors are nice a bright. So far we haven’t been disappointed with any of your apps. However….. The new ones that are out, the Big Bang apps. While we really like the computer games and think these apps would be fantastic for our CVI kiddos after paying $7 for each app we stil have to pay $7 for each in app purchase???? These are the best games and are the favorites of our CVI kids. But there is no way we can afford $7 a pop for each game and each pack of pictures. And they would have been fabulous for our home based kids. :(

A fun app that combines creative painting with sounds. Engaging and fun!

Inclusive technology really knows how to make apps fun and accessible. Love the music with this painting app, kid approved! Keep these apps coming!

Great way to bring senses together and develop fine motor skills and work on colors and more.

Ap is loaded but sadly did not work.
