Amazing app for the game. The different narrations are fun and add a cool little aspect to the game. If there is one thing we would change Id want there to be different narrations for each stage of the game for each voice. It would be super cool if the narrator knew which boss you were on and gave a specific read based on that. Other than that the app fulfills its purpose well enough.
But theres no music or narrator. Just a silent timer.
Sound stopped working after first game. Tried reinstalling and changing orientation and voice style. Nadda. Our son started using default phone timer since it will play sound. Hope this gets fixed, it was a good touch to the game. Looks like its a common app problem.
Sound doesnt work with ringer sound off.
Installed the app, but no sound. The timer is cool, but music and the voice would have been great.
All has multiple narrator voices and we were excited to use it but no matter what we do there is no sound. Timer part works great but it would be much better if there was sound.

As a timer it works fine but there is no sound with the app anymore. Tried to uninstall/reinstall but nothing. We end up using the built in timer so we can at least here whats going on. If the sound worked this would be a easy 5.
Downloaded both the 5 Minute Mystery and 5 Minute Dungeon apps but neither have no sound.
Adds tons of atmosphere to the game, and great selection of voices to choose from. But you must turn off the mute switch on your phone or youll get no sound in the app.
Everything else looks great but theres no sound?? We have tested all the sound settings on our phone so Im pretty sure its not just our phone. Would appreciate some help if anyone has any advice.
For those complaining about no audio, the game is following the mute switch. With mute on there is no voice or music, mute off and its got all the audio.
Bored game is Awsome. App is glitchy and doesnt work 50% of the time. Even on different devices.
Great App! Just remember to flick the silent switch on your iPhone and your good to go, turning up the volume wont override the mute switch.
We have no idea why the ratings are so bad it works fine you just have to turn up the volume. (Duh).
Dont worry about the low reviews- look at them, every one is from doofuses that dont know how to operate their iPhones and use the ringer switch to toggle sound- no problems with the app- thats all user error The app amps up the experience, excitement, and tension as you race to clear the dungeons in under 5 minutes, get it, lotta fun:).
Love this board game, we have played like 20 times over the past few weeks. Simple to learn, quick, love it. We hope they come out with more additions. We have both versions. Also, please add more voice actors.
The game with a kitchen timer is fun… But this app brings the game to another level with its exciting music and encouraging words. Definitely a fun addition to an already fun game.
Dont listen to the dummies that dont know how to use their phones. Yes – you have to turn your sound on and your volume up in order to hear the sound on the app. (Odd) Works exactly as it should and there are several voices depending on your mood. Good luck escaping the dungeon.
The high paced action of the board game is fun. The app doesnt do much to change it though a normal timer would work just as good. The voice acting is decent.
This is a wonderful, simple, but fun timer app for use with the board game 5 minute dungeon. It fulfills its function wonderfully, and adds a nice extra layer to the game overall! Much better than a normal, boring timer. Our biggest feedback (and the only reason we didnt give it 5 stars), is that we wish the music was more adaptive. What we mean is that it would be really cool if the music started as is, but got more intense as the time got lower, so as to really ratchet up the tension and danger. It would also be nice if there was some kind of sound or holding music while the timer was paused (or while on the title screen/between runs), perhaps something more simple and tranquil to contrast with the intensity of the dungeon music. Think the back to town music in classic video games, or even more minimalist (just not absolute silence). It would also be nice if the music was different for each narrator… All that said however, the app fulfills its purpose very nicely already.
So the app worked normally when initially installed. The voice were a wonderful touch to bring a new element to the game. However after the fist day, 6 games the sound stopped working. It doesnt have any sound now but still works at a timer. We find ourselves using our default timer on our phone so we can get audio when time ends. Hope this gets fixed its a nice addition.
Lets see, music and voice volume at maximum. Check. IPad volume at maximum. So thats check. Lets try YouTube, no theres sound there. Uninstall and reinstall, no still no music or sound. It is a useable five-minute timer, but we can use the iPhone timer for that. The strength of this timer was the voices.
None of the music works with the app.
Sorry, we get nothing on our phone speaker, Bluetooth or airplay. Would love to hear it.
We cant hear it without the airpods. We Turned off Bluetooth, deleted-reinstalled the app, went to setting and removed the airpods,… And the sound ONLY work with the airpods… Complete garbage timer. FIX YOUR GARBADGE.

No audio is going through on our iPhone 8plus. We wish we could hear the things people are loving about this app.
We tried using both the different 5 minute dungeon apps and neither has any sound… The seems really fun but without a timer app audio it does take away from the experience.
Wont play sound on any of our familys iPhone Xs. But love the game. Was working on Android.
We just purchased our copy from our local Walmart almost an hour ago after our brother got us to play his copy with him last night. We had a ton of fun & decided to download the timer to see what makes it special compared to using our iPhones default timer. It really does help focus on the game & find it interesting that theres buttons for when you win & when you lose (when nobody has the cards to progress).
If your sound isnt working, make sure your phone is not on silent. If it is, the app sound wobt work at all. It is now workong fine for us. Hope this helps others.
Not sure if it was the os or the app Audio is back and working.
Just started playing this with our family. Our son cant get enough. Please add a feature where you could create a customized recording for the timer. That would be amazing.
We played this with our husband and 8 year old son. It was fun and fast paced. The video online helped.
We love the game and would rate 5 stars but the sound stopped working with a recent update. Please fix it! IPhone 6s, iOS 11.2.6 current app build as of March 4, 2018.
Downloaded a few times with no luck on the sound. Update. The ringer ( silencing switch) must be turned on to hear the sound. It seems silly that we have to turn our ringer on for this app to make noise but all our other apps will play music without it being flipped on. An update would probably be a good solution, especially because playing with the ringer is clearly not anyones first thought judging from the reviews.
Just bought the game. Downloaded app on our iPhone 6 but there is no sound :( Very disappointing.
No sound on the app. Multiple reviews noting this problem love the game but cant recommend it unless you fix the app.
We get no sound even after uninstalling/reinstalling. IPhone 7 plus.
The sound doesnt work for us. Ive deleted and reinstalled it multiple times and verified that the sound was turned up but theres nothing. It doesnt do you as much good playing without the warnings about time left.
Finally home from deployment to enjoy this game with the wife! This timer, along with the colorful voice-actors, keeps things in perfect perspective and REALLY keeps the blood pumping while racing to the bottom of the Dungeon Deck. Well made, planned, and suggested. 5-Stars! :D.
The game is great but there is no sound coming from the app on our iPhone. Takes some of the fun out of the game, frankly.
…unfortunately, experiencing a bug where no audio plays on the timer app (6s).
Timer works as intended, with atmospheric music and choice of narrators. It's easier to keep track of our phone than one of those small sand timers. ;).
They did a great job with making it simple to use and fun. We can wait to crack out the game.
On our iPad 2, we have no sound – music or narration.
