We played the old game and tbh its way better. Why do we have to pay for a mobile fishing game like tf? Bunch of fools.

Hey developers. We hope you see this. You eliminated the best aspect of this game and that was the fight. With a fish on a line when you let go of the reel the line length should increase as if the fish was getting further away. We remember spending half an hour on a fight with a blue marlin and it was so satisfying to bring down its strength as finally catch it. It would make the game a whole lot better.

As someone who has came to the game from memory of the original, we can say that they have changed the game to much. You have to pay $5 a month for levels and add-ons, the music is different and you have to pay just to get to the second level instead of having like only a couple of premium levels you have to pay for. We would not recommend if you dont have a steady supply of cash and we dont think those who come from the original should get the game.

Title says everything, no free version.

We had the old version a long time ago then when we got this app on our iPad Air 2 it worked just fine and then one time when we open it it crashes every time we were doing a gaming vid then our dad called and when we get back in the game it crashed and it keeps doing it today.

Back when you could sit back and catch wherever you wanted… Those were the good days back in 2015-2017. Now this game makes you pay 5 bucks a month to play in any other location.

We dislike the game because it is advertised as completely free but you cannot go past the first level without paying.

Played this extensively when we were younger, back in around 2008-2010. This new paywall club thing that costs $5 a month ruined this game.

This one it cool but the old version is way better.

As someone who played the old version on our first iPod touch, we expected this game to be similar if not the same. Instead, they force you to pay for a $5 per month subscription just to play a mobile fishing game. If it were just 2-3$ to buy the app Id be fine with it as we know developers have to be payed somehow. It just seems a little expensive to be paying $5 every month just for this. Beyond the huge paywall, theyve changed the game to much if you ask us. Music is different, look and feel are different, levels are different. It just doesnt feel like the same game. If youre like us and played the older, better version, preserve your memory of it and DONT download this one.

We really like this game when we were younger and now we still do but is it possible to use the old theme song in the loading screens?

Why in the world would anyone pay 4.99 a month play games on their phone. Seems like someone needed some revenue to keep people playing their games. Dont fall in this trap if you played the old Flick Fishing. Its not worth it.

Loved this game back in the day and love it now. Only thing it needs is for the line length to actually increase when you release the reel.

The old game was our absolute favorite as a kid. This makes us sad that we gotta pay $5 a month now to play the game we loved when we were younger, and the older version was better than this one.

Great game, had it for years, now they bundled it with other games and want a monthly subscription. Twice we sent proof of purchase to support, searching for a resolution. No response. Very disappointed.

We loved the original game, we played it on our iPhone 4. BUT we couldnt open it so we had to get this. It has like 75% of the good stuff the the original had. But you get like 10 mins to play and then you have to buy a subscription. You also dont have all the levels unlocked. If they removed the level stuff and the in-app purchases. It would just be better if you could download the original game, and not this redux. We had high hopes and expectations, but we were very disappointed.

The game is playable but up to a point. Installed the game because we played the original. The feeling of nostalgia was crushed behind a paywall.

Its a fun game that we played a lot when we were younger and much like a lot of other reviewers feel very nostalgic for. There is a small bug where you have an issue casting sometimes but closing and reopening the app fixes it. The reason for the one star review is because of the subscription. We would happily pay five dollars to buy this game but five dollars a month is too much. We get that the subscription is across multiple apps but we dont have or want those other apps. We just want a game we can play on our lunch break that we dont have to keep paying for. If the devs gave an option for a cheap subscription or the option to buy it outright Id keep playing but for now Im deleting it.

We just had a nostalgic strike one day and we went to see if we could find all the iPod games we used to play, this was the only one we could find but was disappointed to find out how much it has changed First off, WHY $5 a month???? Luckily youre able to still play for free, but the style, the music, everything has changed Please for love everyone who plays this game, BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL GAME, IT WAS BETTER THAT WAY.

Lame cash grab. Can only play for 10 mins for free. Then you can either play $5 a month to continue or close the app out. Super lame on the developers part. We hate how everything is a monthly fee now a days. Hey Devs! Take this cute lil game and shuv it up your keister.

Super disappointing. We use to play this game all the time as a kid and now they are money grabbing and making you subscribe to play. Let us have some nostalgia and remove the paywall. Its unnecessary and annoying.

We would give this 0 stars if we could. Trash.

We used to love this game back when it was free. It lets you play for 10 minutes now and then charges you 4.99 per month to play.

IF we COUKD GIVE THIS ZERO STARS we WOULD. We NEVER EVER REVIEW AN APP BUT THIS ONE. THIS ONE DESERVES AN ALL CAPS REVIEW! A BLOODY RIP OFF TO PLAY THIS GAME.

Its behind a paywall, big scam mama.

You have to pay monthly to play the game which really stinks. The old version was better than this one, where you don’t need to pay in. We are so disappointed.

Why the subscription tho? We loved this game, but 5$ a month?

We used to play this game and randomly remembered it and wanted to play again because of the nostalgia. The game makes you pay $4.99 a month which is absolutely ridiculous and not worth it at all. $5 a month is a joke. We would totally understand if the game cost $2.99 to download and then everything else was free… But to make the game free and then try and charge $4.99 a month to play? Thats just a btch. Thanks for ruining a great game. Greedy btches.

Bro, come on. Thats an actually crazy price for a revamped game. This has been an ongoing issue for like 2 years but just change the fee to an initial one instead of a subscription based one because $5 a month is low key a scam. We like many others came for the nostalgia and got blocked by a ten minute trial. Just please fix this. You probably wont but god ts is awful.

Do not buy this game its not like the original flick a fish im so sad and ashamed that you would try remake a OG game you get forced to pay a subscription if not the ads is unbearable you cannot enjoy the game with all these ads and subscriptions popping up do not buy this game its waste of time.

This Game Is Almost Like The Original But Not As Good Still A Decent Game You Get 10 Mins To Play Before Being Prompt To Subscribe For $5 A Month Its Not Worth The Subscription If we Could Buy The Game It Would Be Better So Its A Delete For us!

This game really isnt half of what it used to be, the fact that the fish dont fight back really takes away from the emersion, and half of the time when we used the flick option for casting, the thing wouldnt work. On top of all of that, you cant even play the game without paying $4.99 a month, which is absurd. If it was $4.99 for a one time purchase we wouldnt mind, but a monthly charge is just too much for a game that is lacking from its past excellence. We wouldnt recommend this game as it is now.

Don’t download… Not worth it. The old version we use to play on our iPhone 3 and 4. Amazing. Would totally pay for it. New version is crap… Oh and it’s monthly pay or ad-rape your device.

Its truly a shame, one of our favorite childhood games has now become an unenjoyable catastrophe. Why must we pay for a subscription now? We only get 10 minutes of free gameplay? These companies are just greedy and frankly we will not support this game any longer. We will not pay for your subscription.

Regret downloading. Have to make this game non subscription please. No point in having it in the App Store anymore if this continues.

Was only able to play for 10 minutes then it tried to make us pay 5$ to be able to play and we couldn’t get the stupid ads to go away, u have to pay to play now.

Why would we subscribe to play a worse version of the game we loved. Micropay we could handle. Subscription IS NOT the way of the future. Get stuffed.

The game was amazing when we were younger but now its turned into a cash grab $5 a month and also if you have had the game you have to provide that you had the game years ago how would we do that this game went down hill its sad this game was part of our childhood we remember you could get the game and just sit there and fish without a care in the world.

We like this game but actually make it free to Play with subscription.

We played this game when we first got an iPod Touch back in the day. The original was amazing and was so fun. This game is… Not that. After a measly ten minutes, youre forced to pay for a subscription of $5 a month. And on top of all this, the game looks and functions so much worse than it used to. Sure, all games have bugs but this is a mess. Most of the time, the game bugs out and we cant cast our rod. So, we have to keep going in and out of the tackle box in an ATTEMPT to get it to work again. It freezes so much and looks terrible. Developers, put up two versions: this one, and the original. Because the original cannot be topped.

Low key dont get this game. We were getting it for nostalgia, and you get 5 min of game time then you have to pay 5 dollars to play the rest. Kinda upset. :(

Its ok its just not like the original they need to just bring it back we miss the days when u could play a app without ad after ad thats what flick fishing offered us it felt like real fishing but on your phone overall its a knock off of flick fishing it doesnt feel realistic at all.

Absolutely deplorable that we have to pay $4.99 a month to play a simple 3D fishing game. Used to play this game all the time back when we had an iPhone 3GS and played constantly. One time payment and fish fighting experience was much more fun and challenging. Do not waste your money.

We dont wanna give 1 star!!!! We want your attention to the fact that we know we bought this game in the past. We jumped through your little hoops to get full access to the game. That you put behind a subscription paywall thats scummy of you. We love this game and the old version is still loaded on our phone even thou we cant play it because hopefully this version will be playable. Can you please respond to whatever measures it takes to actually let us play your game.

We forget in thd original flick fishing how u get to night fishing we know u could click on lighthouse this new one just has question mark, how do u go into night mode.

Childhood memories Were made by this game.

We had the original game and all the add-ons. Loved it. Loved the fight when catching the big ones and legendary fish. Even loved the creepy old fisherman. We were seriously hoping for some nostalgia when we saw this game had been rereleased as it was one of our favorites. But Im very disappointed to find that we only got to play for 10 minutes before being told we had to subscribe like Apple Arcade to play any more. We get this is the new mode but honestly l just want good old Flick Fishing back. Id even take a way to run the old game. We dont need anything new and flashy. Just bring Flick Fishing the way we knew it.

Its kinda ridiculous to pay 5$ or more a month just to play a game on your phone let alone the only good fishing game on the iPhone thanks a lot for ruining mobile games when other game companies follow your tracks.

We dont like having to pay for this app. We paid it already on our other iPhone and we got it from apple.

What a money grab. We would rather play the game for free like it previously was. We used to play this on our iPod touch gen 3 or 4. Remove the subscription and more people will play the game.
