From what we have seen and played the game is decently good and easy to grind but one thing we hate is the amount of pop ups you get. Please have at least a setting to turn them off for free to play players.
The only reason we will ever have for re-downloading it is if Sonic, tails, knuckles, and shadow are still in.
Simple, sweet. Can be a ftp player and enjoy the game or pay any amount you feel comfortable with. We love that its highly enjoyable with just $10 to skip adds and increase rewards. Can recommend this game to anyone that enjoys building different squads for specific fights. Ive used some $ to see how far it gets us, and honestly its just nice to wait. Love that about this game.
Its constant visual action as your fortress marches on through endless waves of enemies, and both evolve through your journey. Theres a deep tree of tech and heroes to work through and a lot of fun challenges. It works well F2P and P2P.
We dont usually review games, especially mobile games. But holy we love this game so much we just had to give it a 5. Its so addicting and aesthetically pleasing. If we HAD to complain about something itd be the watch ads to get rewards but genuinely a great game.
We like the afk factor of the game, and the guide quests. However there is a lot of things going on at once, and it gets hard to keep track of everything.
Honestly love the heroes and the gameplay loop, other than the arena mode, this is a banger game if you want to turn your brain off for a bit.

Decent AFK game, felt very generous with gacha at first. The wall came a lot later than we expected, but the scaling becomes untenable without spending a decent chunk of money to upgrade heroes. We mean, im pretty sure the average package it around $25, which is insane. The upgrades you get from them maybe last you an extra chapter? Good lord, it became one of the most miserly gachas at chapter 20.
Got time to kill? This Is a great way to do it.
Ive played gacha games before but this is the best one Ive played by far. They put a ton of time and effort into the story, the system, the art, the VA work, and the events. And theyre very generous with the FTP aspects. We love it.
Just started playing. Really enjoying the game. Lots to do. Lots to upgrade. Fairly straight forward.
We have played a lot of mobile games, and there are a lot of terrible ones. Fortress saga is by far the greatest around. Progression is simple, and teaches every aspect slowly with time to learn as you play. But along with the simplicity there is a super duper deep combat system, which is very complex and fun. This is an idle game, however, there is a lot to do not idled so if you have the time you can just sit and play for hours and hours a day. Im about level 1400, have only spent $0.99 and feel like we have missed out on nothing that pay to win players get. Other than some cosmetics.

Everything about this game is pretty great, way better than most games Ive played on mobile. The community is awesome and theres enough to keep you occupied, the daily missions and quests wont take you forever to complete so it feels very manageable. It adds an extra thing to our day that allows us to unwind and relax, even the PvP is a good time even though its still in beta. Overall really good game and would recommend it to anyone.
Stop pretending it doesn't exist, you're ignored multiple requests from others for help. You let Chinese hackers slip through all the time anyways. Obviously the game isn't 1 star but we cannot give a real review to a game that isn't playable. Even a terrible game is better than a unplayable game because at least that has some value.
Ive played lots of gacha games and this one is much more chill and relaxed without needing hours of our time every day. But also has enough depth to maintain our interest.
Does everyone else have to constantly redownload and delete the game almost every time you close out of it sometimes multiple times ? Love the game but when it says patch notes 0.00 out of 0.00 and is stuck on that screen for hours idk what to do.
Great Game, just needs a final polish. Pros: Adorable Artstyle, nice to have characters that arent NSFW jiggle bait like so many other games Tons of upgrade options, characters, and items Progress is good even without being a whale The collectible card bonus system is awesome. Farmer Cynthia is best girl. Cons: Game can be choppy/laggy sometimes and uses a TON of battery power. The character Cor iswellcough Calcifer cough Howls moving Castle cough ** All in all, love the game Def worth a download if you have some free time to spare.
Fortress saga has a very nice looking setup in a time and gacha based afk game. Its problems are covering up buttons and things you need to see with overlay text. Especially the chat function. It covers up items required to upgrade facilities, level up fortress button, and theres no way to mute chat, so its always a problem. Lastly, the text in the game is super small. Unless youve got great eyesight, youre going to be squinting a lot.
After the latest update, the game can only be played in WIFI environment. We can't enter the game in 5G,4G,VPN environment. There's no problem in the same environment before. Fix it plz.
Doesnt lead you anywhere, nothing changes the longer you play it. Even if you are the most powerful in the gameso whatno benifits to being better or worse than othersI dont get it.
Im not to sure whats going on but we were playing game now its now blocked by the alert. We already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but now Im not even sure we can get our data back. We already put money into this so we dont want to back out. Please fix this because when we searched online it seems to be a common problem already all the way back in January 2025.
We would not tell any RL friends about it. You spend in a 40 min time on this and it feels like you spend 1/3 of your time watching adds. As for the game we cant say much, not even 2 days on it. We have played worse games.

We downloaded this game for the epic Fortress and we got a 5 star 10/10 should recommend.
Until a few weeks ago we had literally nothing to complain about, but whichever changes were implemented in the summons are plain terrible. Going 600 (yes, six hundred) pulls without getting a featured character even once is not fun.
Solid game, love the ten pull system where you gain rep for better odds the longer you play. Theirs still a giant ice burg of character and land tank optimization. Optional adds that wants you to press for a reward.
The game started out fun and lots of things to do, but this new update made the game unplayable. We have downloaded the content and it has been sitting on 100% for over an hour the third time. We cant play without the download finished and everytime we restart it, it starts back at the beginning and stops at 100% without finalizing. Deleted the game and redownloaded and the same thing is happening. It was fun while it lasted but now we cannot even load the game.
Spent over 100 dollars on this game we dont even know how the small deals just kept adding up This game got us feeling like 5 dollars is free dont play if you cant control spending habits.
Been playing a week and pretty fun. Theres plenty of things to spend real money on, but the game is quite generous with gems, tickets, heros etc. Through several events and missions. Very idle, very auto battler.

Gameplay loop is fun and addicting, art style is unique and beautiful, actually build a connection with the endearing characters, has a surprising amount of interesting lore, 4 stars only because the summon rates are trash.
Ask no questions youll get no lies. Its a money dump game with little to no shame about it. Further you go, the fewer uniques and other things that pop up in your summons (higher chance of lies more correctly) Beautiful art style and howls moving castle vibes, but it becomes a sim clicker in less than a month, constantly begging you to buy packages and other garbage. Been a year and the only thing theyve figured out is mashups for money.
This is very addicting. We enjoy everything about this game. Keep up the good work and we pray for the future that this game keeps on going.

If we didnt need to relaunch the game after every ad it would be better.
Not a simple idle game. There's a lot thrown at you very fast.
Constantly when connected to the internet or full bars we will get a message check your connection and then get disconnected and cant get back in. This is what will kill your game. Finally the ads and the connection issues is what kills the game for us.
This game is the only thing that tells us to have a great day every morning, top tier game.
This is such a fun game. The visuals are great, the characters are super fun and the story is honestly a fun quest that made the game feel like it has more depth.
Kinda fun, wish there wasnt so much cool stuff locked behind events but other than that its really nice.

To be honest we like this game a lot,its pretty fun and the most fun part about this game are the events! Ive played the sonic one and we got all the characters :D. The one punch man is pretty cool to.
This game crashes more than cars in demolition derby. Sometimes the crashes will force you to repeat your last several actions. Cant imagine losing a legendary draw because of a crash. And the load time [to restart the game] is loooooong. Its frustrating and annoying. If it did not crash, the game is interesting to a point. That point being when you realize the game is never ending in its repetitiveness. March through levels for ever. So, the turnover rate is high. Players on your friends list will go inactive frequently. Maybe introducing mission adventures to gain specific mission-only rewards might make the game more interesting. By the way, the chat system (which says its still in beta) is abysmal and highly unreliable AND can crash the game. Fix the crash bugs, fix the chatbecause its almost unplayable as it is.
Phone games tend to have a short lifespan for us. We expected Fortress Saga to get deleted after we tried the Dungeon Meshi collab, but instead the game has us hooked and we've been trying to think through why. The presentation is wonderful; it truly feels like a triple A release, even though it's free-to-play. All the assets, the backgrounds, character art, sprites, animations, music are all well-done. They did not skimp on or forget anything. Each little screen has unique art to enjoy. If there is an issue with the presentation, it's that there is too much; an original song for almost every screen is borderline overwhelming. The UI/UX is also the best we've seen in a long time. Unlike other gacha/idle games, the monetization is extremely fair and the itemization is clear. Even though there are lots of items and currencies, we've never felt lost. Besides the useful tutorial, each item links to the appropriate game mechanic/shop and there is typically a quest that will also show you the way and all the menus are well organized. The quest system is another strong point because, even though repeatable quests may only give you 10 diamonds (the premium currency) they are paced to absolute perfection. You always feel like you're making progress, even if you just let the game run while you do the dishes. The presentation and user experience being so nice allows you to just enjoy the world. Instead of sweating over what the heck is going on, you can actually chill. It's not groundbreaking fiction, but the story is fine, the characters are lovely, and the fortress concept itself is very fun. Good games are often more than games; they are places you want to be. Fortress Saga nails this vibe and we find that pretty incredible for a mobile game.
We do t typically leave reviews but this is one of a very short list of mobile games we really enjoy. Limited ads, beautiful art, and the gameplay is wonderful. We truly recommend playing.
This game is absolutely a masterpiece about art.
