Four Plus is a Board/Puzzle game from Bjoern Bartels, first launched in 5th February 2016.

What Makes Four Plus Stand Out
Four Plus is an intelligent puzzle game with a simple and elegant design.
Though challenging, Four Plus has a relaxing flow of play. Since you can interrupt and continue the game at any time, Four Plus is truly the perfect casual game!
You have to place random shapes consisting of different colored blocks inside of a rectangular field.
Whenever there are four or more neighboring blocks of the same color, they will be removed and you gain back space in the gray field. Additionally, you earn one point for every removed block.
So you always have to find the best spot for placing the current shape! The game is over when the next shape does not fit into the gray field anymore.
Compete with your friends via Game Center or share your new highscore in social networks!
You can also unlock achievements, e.g. skill levels; can you make it to become a "Legend"?

We must admit we are addicted to this game. That said we guess the colors sent to you are computer generated & you ultimately lose while hopefully increasing your score. At the end of our game we need another game to play where we have more control over the colors not just where we place them, to ease our frustration. Thanks we spend way to much time on this game.
Best fun. Always different and challenging for improving spatial relationship. We taught our granddaughter to play this game and also how to read numbers playing this game. Always perfect for our mind. Great anytime &anywhere.
We hate to admit how addicted we are to Four Plus! It is SO MUCH fun and relaxing, and we find myitself playing it every chance we get! Never have we ever enjoyed any game as much! Dont know how long ago we wrote the previous paragraph, but nothing has changed with our addiction! Four Plus is still our one and only Go-To as a means of fun, challenge, and relaxation! We LOVE it, LOVE it, LOVE it.
We love this game so much for a while. Then, we start getting tired of having to dismiss a Game Center invitation before every single game. Also, the basic game play can be quite frustrating. From what we can tell, the algorithm is such that you get a few/several pieces that fit perfectly on the game board, and its up to you to see it and place them to effectively remove sections; followed by a few/several pieces that quite clearly will not fit anywhere. Its clearly intentional it is definitely not random. The goal, it seems, is to use the pieces that fit to remove as many blocks as possible before the non-fitting pieces start up. That way, you have room to place these misfits. As the game progresses, naturally the misfit pieces come more often, and are larger, making them harder to place. This could be a relaxing/focusing game if it werent for the misfit algorithm and the repeated request to use Game Center. If we find an app that doesnt do those two things, Im switching in a heartbeat.
Not making this app usable in landscape mod4 is disrespectful to people who might have limited movement. It makes playing the game difficult, almost impossible.
We've played this game for more than two years and found it relaxing, but just recently something has changed. Normally we can listen to an audiobook while we play Four Plus, but suddenly that feature is gone. We are very frustrated by this change and would like to see the original reinstated.
You play at your own speed, there are no interruptions, colors are calming, and building with blocks is a timeless fun thing to do.
Enjoy this game to relax get mind off of things.

We have been playing for over a year and its endlessly challenging. Wish there were some options to undo a move to see if we could achieve a higher score or at least not end the game without warning. Maybe an option for hints or a warning that you are one or two moves away from losing.
Love this game, it engages our mind while at the same time clearing our mind.

This game is a perfect for waiting rooms. We also like that it doesnt interfere with our listening ability. We can enjoy music, podcasts, or audiobooks while playing. And its very addicting. Is there a way to compare scores with other players.
We're addicted to this game! The game developer actually reads reviews and responds to issues!!!! Our iPads are old and one iPad didn't do well after an update. We did a review with a comment to that effect. We received an email from the developer and the issue was resolved! We didn't have to uninstall and reinstall, so we didn't lose our 65k+ point history.
Its a fun game good for stress too.

Ive had this game for years now and have enjoyed fully until recently. We have a brand new iPhone 13 pro max so not sure why Im having issues with this app in the last few months. Way too many ads!! And the ads quite often wont let you click out of them to get back to the game! We tried to contact but for some reason wouldnt let us. Hence our review instead. This game deserves 5 . But due to the ad issues, Im giving 3 . And if it continues, we will delete as its too frustrating and leave 1 review. Please please fix! Thank you.
We play this game many nights for 30 min. Or so it helps kinda calm us down and chill us out so we can sleep.

We like that the game has no music and no time constraint. That way it only gets stressful/suspenseful when the board fills up too much. Then a sigh of relief when the right tiles show up and allow you to clear it off again : ).
We easily get bored with these Internet games but have been enjoying this one for a couple of years.we find it relaxing and challenging enough to keep us stimulated. Plus it doesnt have 1 million ads.

Ive been playing this game for awhile and just recently it has become glitchy. When we try to move the piece, it wont budge. Then it eventually does, but it gets stuck and goes into a spot that we didnt choose. This is so frustrating! We love this game, but we cant continue to keep playing if this glitchy stuff keeps up. Please look into this. Thanks!! UPDATE: Thanks for fixing the glitches. We are back to playing our favorite game once again.

We enjoy the untimed play. We have been playing this game off and on for quite some time but have become very frustrated by many of the ads. Some ads arent an issue but many ads never have an x that pops up to go back to game play. We have to completely close the app and then reopen it to return to the game. Someone messed up and we are very surprised that it has not been fixed yet. This is the only game we have this issue with.
Good game until then. Only solution is to restart the app, but even that is hard to do due to the freeze.

Really enjoying 4 Star – we like a game that makes us have to think. It challenges us and thats why we like it.
We really enjoy this game but it has continually been crashing. Have reinstalled twice with no improvement.

What is the recent problem with this game? It gets extremely slow and locks up our iPad and we get a black screen. Ive done all the updates. It does okay for a few minutes and then gets extremely slow.

Very relaxing. We love that we can start playing this game have to end it and go back to where we left off later. Just when we think Im doing bad all of a sudden we pick up the pace and Im doing much better with a game. We love to try to improve our score.
