  • Fun and challenging
  • Forty levels with six additional expansion packs
  • Expand your vocabulary with thousands of words
  • Extra Hints are available if you’re stuck by revealing a letter, a tile or the whole word

GAMEPLAY
The goal is simple; complete the level by finding words on the screen in any order.

You are given hints on the left with additional information on the right, to help you decipher the hint. You have the option of what that additional information is. If you like word games this is fun. A little hard but still fun.

Good brain teaser. Always a challenge. Always finding myself coming back b.

Absolutely fantastic and totally addictive. Our wife, her sister and brother in law and her daughter are all playing this mind challenging game. Were looking for more.

A lot of fun and is very addicting!

We love this game, it makes us think outside the box.

It can be challenging, but it is lots of fun. Everyone who enjoys word games should have this one downloaded.

We received an email from the developer & want to respond by changing our rating. It was not fair to provide a low rating for the game due to charges during the promo period; that is handled by Apple. It is a good game, and we appreciated a response from the developer. The developer responded to where the restore button is located, so we have the features on our iPad as well. Thank you. ******************************************* Previous review: Like another reviewer said, we were also charged to unlock the game levels during the promo period. It was advertised as being a free unlock. Since we ended up being charged downloading on our iPhone, isnt there an option to restore purchases for the iPad to avoid more charges?

Good to play when you only have a few minutes and want to keep mind sharp.

Love a game that challenges us.

If you like crossword puzzles, youll love this!

Im a word nerd. This game is actually challenging!

We like passing time with this game.

Hard, but makes you think, we really like it!

Our wife and we both love this game. It’s great to be able to work on one puzzle when we have a few minutes and come back to it later. Problem is that our wife has completed all the available packs! Please add some more packs soon.

Just discovered this game and really enjoy it. It is a little harder than others we have played. But love it.

Fun but frustrating! Addicted already!

This game is more challenging but we like it.

A lot of fun, though it’s tricky for Americans given some of the terminology. If you’re totally stuck, you can view the words as scrambles to get started. Anyone who enjoys word games should play through the first 40 levels. For those complaining that it wasn’t free after App Advice said it would be: 1) it was free. The confirmation for the add-on showed it was free, even as the in-app icon had a price. 2) even if it wasn’t, that’s not the fault of this app maker.

Nice challenging game that is fun to play before bed.

We love the challenge of putting the letters together to match words to the definition. Great brain game!

Fun game. Not as easy as it looks.

Great game with some mind twisting puzzles. Great vocabulary builder. Dont give up and you will do fine , eventually. We wish there were more levels.

You can skip around by putting in the correct word. You dont need to go in order.

Enjoying this game, never heard of many but fun trying!

The game is very different from any word game we’ve played its challenging.

Really enjoy thinking of answers for improving memory. Also, would like more levels proved with free offering!

Great game! Many of the answers are very challenging!

We loved this game when it was in the daily newspaper. Some of these games are quite challenging. We never even heard of some of the words (e.g. Fresher for a first year undergraduate!) But all in all, a good game for brain exercise.

We have played a few levels and found some words are not familiar to us. Its fun to play, but we need hints sometimes.

Love the game. Rather challenging. We wont buy the extra levels because we wont pay money for any game.

We have thoroughly enjoyed playing the various games and expanding our vocabulary. It is a very enjoyable and addictive game.

Some really good words. Keeps the mind sharp.

This is a good game to keep your mind active. Challenging at times, but definitely an app we will keep- until we have to pay for it.

The definitions are odd. This could be because Im American. We would not call a first-year student a fresher. Apprenticedbound by contractI looked it up, and that is listed as an archaic definition. We are surprised by the difficulty. We are on level 7. We have encountered: Buckskin Rustling (as in stealing cattle) Papoose Donna Apical Salience … And other words we hear very rarely. If the words are going to be hard, thats great, but the definitions dont need to be for the most archaic or unusual use of the word then. We still gave it 4 stars because its refreshing to have a word game that isnt just another version of Boggle with a different background.

This game is infuriating. In a good way.

Difficult words but worth playing. Good for the brain!

We havent been playing long, but have found no problems so far. Makes us really think.

Love the concept but wish the answers were a little more up to date. Such as Dobbin, Fresher, etc,

Wonder where this game is from. Some words are quite obscure.

Remove ads and unlock every level pack at no charge today. The use of the word and in this sentence indicates that both things can be done at no charge today, which isnt the case. Yes, we saw the $2.99 at checkout but computers have a funny way of negating or reimbursing at the last minute so we went ahead. Besides, the money isnt the point. For a word game, you should do better.

We paid $2.99 for unlimited hints (charge went through) yet didnt get applied! Update: When you pay for unlimited clues, its only in ONE category not for the entire game. Our mistake. We have clues for ONE category.

But others contain the word you’re looking for in a different form, so we guess it all evens out.

Not sure why the promo for the free version did not come thru. Also, the terms used as answers are often British dialect.
