Cant wait to track our stats around the world.
As others have mentioned, it appears the Nexus app doesnt appear in the settings during setup, and the instructions say to enable Bluetooth. However, if you just select next during setup then the app asks you to enable BT automatically. Im guessing its something that changed in the app that the developers didnt anticipate, but we can see why some people wouldnt know what to do next. Otherwise; the app updated our portal and then we could play games.
We were sent the portalSmart Target, and tried to use the application. We use the VoiceOver screen reader. When using the app, we found that there is nothing to indicate that there is a button to click on. We would really like to assist in beta testing this application, to make it more user-friendly for those of us who are blind/visually impaired, that use the voiceover screen reader. We would be more than happy to provide additional feedback, (through Voice), if thats required. Please let us know if we can beta test this app to make it more usable. Before we end this review, we would like to additionally, add, that some buttons were not clickable as well. A suggestion that we will go ahead and make here, is to have a (Voice preferences), menu, to have the app read out the score, as you are blasting the Target. Please fix this, and we will gladly give the application five stars.
Despite installing the app, settings couldnt find the app to change permissions to connect through bluetooth. First time Ive ever had an issue like this with an app. Unable to use the app with the target.
App is easy to use and makes the gel blaster experience even more fun. Highly recommend using multiple Portal targets connected together.
One portal is cool, a bunch of portals is a game changer for Gel Blasting. Im excited to see what game modes come next! Keep up the great work.
The portal is great and app is super easy to use. Six games out the gate. Other apps only have one or two. Cant wait to see what Gel Blaster does with this thing.
We had the gel blaster and decided to get the target and try it out. Had great time trying out all the games. Our favorite games are Duel and Match. React is good, but we wish it was a bit more challenging. Kids loved playing the games and kept them entertained for a couple hours. We may be buying more targets or portals in the near future.
Its straightforward and the gamemodes are fun.
They make good blasters and cant wait for their target.
Really fun app with a great design.
