Why am we the only one who can big gin.
It seems suspicious that the game suddenly gets gin after two cards when it hasnt been winning for awhile. Ive had the computer get 90+ points in two rounds and only drawing 4 cards! And this happened more than once. We think it was developed to cheat to win if we get too good.
When youre about to lay down gin especially when youre below 11 count, nearly every time. Also, for the long time players, have you seen hands that are extremely similar to others youve seen when playing for a while in a sitting? We have and its very suspicious. There are no commercials which is very nice.

Always lots of fun, a great way to enjoy a few minutes of relaxation.
Great game, straightforward. Nice to be able to manually arrange your cards. Most other Gin games wont allow that. This game will sort into sets. If there is a possible run and we prefer that, we can change the order of the cards. The only thing we would enjoy seeing is a more skilled opponent. We play vs. Tia 95% of the time because its the only challenging player. And even that is usually around 50-50. The others are boring. So Ive really dropped back on gameplay. Nice at first. But soon looses its appeal.
If you make a mistake an touch the screen. The card you touched move and you cannot correct it BECAUSE there no button to correct it. That mistake can cost you the game.
This game is well designed. It has different levels of play and the lack of ads that interrupt play is very appreciated and unusual for card games.
Fun app. Ads run across the bottom of the screen but thats it! Love it! Graphics are good and there are different levels in the game.
We play the hardest opponent, and the games are just about even and fun. Great graphics.
Love Boy Howdy games the ads are not annoying or intrusive at all, and we REALLY appreciate that. This rummy is very fun and addicting. The cards are easy to see and manipulate. You may lose some sleep at night playing just one more game 3 or 4 times!! For some reason, we have the worst stats against Good Georgia (who may be the 2nd easiest opponent?). Watch out for her.
Since we were introduced to this new card game for us, it is hard to not love it.
The Gin Rummy game is great. We play many of the other Boy Howdy games as well. They never have a piggy bank or ask for money. Entertaining & free.

A definite winner for the team of Howdy. Giving one hours of fun with a little bit of strategy. The computer seems to have an edge over winning. Great no commercials or timers ! Thanks for the game, always looking for the next new ones.
We love this game. There are many levels of players you can play with, and there are no ads, except at the very bottom of the screen. It is so nice not having your game interrupted by annoying ads. We love all the boy howdy games because they dont have many annoying ads. We have two of the jigsaw puzzles and they are great! We highly recommend any of the Boy Howdy apps.
Sometimes you are dealt a card and dispose of it only to draw the same card later in the same hand. Other than that its a pretty good time waster.
We like the app. We used to play north sky until it accidentally got updated and too obnoxious for us. We have been noticing that cards tend to repeat in this app. We almost started photographing them to prove it to ourselves. Nah we said. If that were the case then we would occasionally see a card we are holding. But it is a computerized game. Any card can generate. This game we toss a jack clubs. It gets buried. 2 cards later – we draw a jack clubs. Despite that it is only a game. And it is fun to play the different players. Each has a unique play style which adds to the fun.
We love all the games from this developer. But this game is unusually weighted to the other player. Many times it draws a single card and gets Gin and that has never happened in our hand. Other than that we like the game a lot, nice design and fun to play if we do feel a bit hopeless.
Ive played this game, or a version of it, most of our life, but never by using much strategy. Im having so much fun learning how to play and keep score. We were losing nearly every game, so we started watching what the computer player was doing, got some tips from our husband, and now Im winning a lot more often. Its so much fun! We download and play every Boy Howdy game, because they are exactly what we enjoy: no time limits; just play and challenge ourselves to get more skilled. Highly recommend all of their games.
Just started playing this game, been playing more years than wish we were old but this game doesnt have an attitude of it must win, yet! Opponent player Beginner Ben keeps you on your toes. All other games collect low cards and usually win. Chances seem to be more even. Dont even know the score! Doesnt give you big LOSER or Winner message. Just keeps playing. So far so good.
Play this game! Challenging but fun. This is an opponent match up with helpful tutorials as you play. You may find it hard to put down, we do.

The game claims the cards in the deck are random, but the vast majority of the time the deck is stacked with the high cards being drawn first, so you cant start lowering your deadwood till later in the game.

There are levels of play based on being beginner to expert. Its easy to play and we enjoy it greatly.

Best game to download no ads straight gin rummy plenty of options for different opponents that are part of the app. We love this game.
Once we start playing Gin Rummy, we have a hard time stopping. We like that you can choose your opponent & switch to another one at any time.
We didnt know we liked Gin Rummy so much until we downloaded this game. We play way too many games, but this game makes it worthwhile. It challenges you to think of strategy and rely on luck. Just like any card game should.. The gameplay is easy to work with and rather intuitive.
We appreciate being able to control our hand and create our own melds. So few GR apps offer that even though it would seem if a computer is creating your melds for you, theres no challenge whatsoever. We are also pleased with the clean appearance of the screen. A cluttered, flashing, dinging, electronic experience is not what Im looking for when playing gin rummy.
Usually we love the Boy Howdy games. The gin is not realistic. As you go to higher levels against the bot, it is not strategic but the get great cards and the useless cards in your hand are perfect for the bot Just had bot either gin or knock within the first 3 draws about 5 times in succession.
Great fun and no ads interrupting!! Thats a win-win in our book.
We swear, theres no way the computer can deal hands that only need to draw one card to get below 10 deadwoodthree times in a row! Ive seen things like this over and over. Not possible even considering the odds.

We play Gin on a few others sites but, we have to say that the way this game is set up and much more enjoyable. We also love working your puzzles. Thanks Boy Howdy for being a great place to come and relax.

Why when we win a game, do we not get credited for it? Ive noticed this with all the players. This is a fun game and its great for wasting time, but its kind of frustrating that we dont get credited for winning when we know we won! We checked the game instructions a few times and we dont think Im missing anything. Also, we thought runs had to be in the same suit-Georgia goes out and her runs are in various suits. Kinda cheaty if you ask us.
We were enjoying the game up until playing against Experienced Ed. Started spinning and wont stop. We cant even shut it down or delight the app to reinstall.
