We love gloomy but needs more. Its a nice relaxing game overall just needs more other than traveling. Fix the coins add mini games where you can play with gloomy add skins of other gloomy and other Japanese bear mascots like zom-bear for example make it change every season and holiday add more music for the background.
Get prepared for a long rant. To start off this review, Ive been a Gloomy Bear fan since august of last year and started playing this game around august of this year. And let us just say, its boring at the absolute best. We dont want to be too harsh because the concept is fun and the special events for it that occurred in Japan were nice, but oh our god, the ads are one of this games worst and most overwhelming flaws. Ive seen people leave 1 stars just for a game having banner ads, but Im being completely serious when we say you cant even progress properly without watching 2 minutes of ads depending on how many friends visit, not to mention how repetitive the visitors can get (95% of the time its just the Gozowroppers, AKA the organs) and the only way to change that is to grind for furniture that requires, you guessed it, a lot of ad binge watching and literal days of work. And if that wasnt bad, a majority of the art featured in the pictures that Pity & Gloomy give to you after their trips is blatantly traced from the anime, and its done VERY poorly at that, which makes the game feel like more of a bootleg than an official one especially when paired with the English text that feels like it was hastily shoved through Google Translate. Thats only an issue for people who play the game through English (like us) yet its obviously not like the art is any prettier for Japanese users, its bland and feels like they made this game behind Mori Chacks back or something, and a lot of Gloomy Bear merch in the west as of late has that exact same feeling. Its bad. The only good things this game has going for it are the cute idle animations for Pity & Gloomy, the inclusion of more obscure characters (like Kumakikai & Slitgill), and the traveling motif yet those are merely visual pros. The cons come from literally just playing the game itself. If we were to be given the free will of how to make it better, Id make it so that you could interact with all of the characters more closely, and that tickets and coins being accessible werent locked behind grinding and constant ads, along with having art featured in photos thats actually accurate to Mori Chacks style. Its been a while so we doubt this game is gonna get any more content aside from the occasional bug fixes, but we hope theres something way better than this dumpster fire for Gloomys 25th anniversary, yet this of all things wont be something hard to beat.
We love gloomy bear so we were excited to see that there was a game. We opened the game and it was full of ads. So disappointing. Cant we get a game without an ad every few seconds. You cant play the game without watching ads. Other than that the game is awesome.
Fheres nothjng to do its cute and all but theres not even that many idle animations either so you just watch the same thing happen over and over afain huge fan of gloomy bear but this game feels like a chore to play the only thing you can really play is ads like amother review said an interesting update would be a diary for pity or gloomy, im pitys #1 fan and was very disappointed but the lack of realy anything.
We love gloomy bear so much so we wanted to see if there were any games about him and we found this, at first we were really excited to play it until we realized that all you can do is send them on trips and stuff. Please add more stuff to do in this games its not very interesting at all.
We adore this game but it gets boring fast as much as we love Gloomy bear. Im a bit disappointed with the lack of new content. Maybe you guys could add like a diary or something for Pity? Im really interested in his side of the story and we kinda wanna know how gloomy thinks aswell. Also its SO hard to earn coins, its easy to earn fly miles but coins are hard to get.
Yup as to what everyone says there are too many ads just to redeem coins. Love gloomy bear and all but this game just needs to be MORE fun and interesting.
We love gloomy bear but you can barely earn any coins no matter how many ads you watch because you have to buy brochures with them. We also dont know how to get the mementos?? We keep sending gloomy and pity to different places but we only get food and fly miles. Please update the game and make it more fun to play.
We luv gloomy bear but thsi game is nawt it brah…… They rlly make u watch ads durin the tutorial n there isnt much 2 do.
Everytime we Watch an ad to get more tickets it kicks us out the game when the video finishes and we have to repeat the tutorial again.
We downloaded this game the millisecond we saw it being promoted on the gloomy bear account on instagram. But for a collection game, its more ad than game and even if there werent ads the rewards dont even feel like rewards. Its a chore watching ads just to redeem something. Personally, we think it would make more sense for the options to be either to claim it for free or make the reward more bang for your buck by offering an ad. Cute game we guess but it could be so much better.
