At first it was frustrating but its more strategical than anything because you dont have a lot of coins you can legit lose your run because you didnt waste your coins or place things in the right place, and thats why we like the game so much.
We love this game as much as minecraft but we like minecraft a little bit more,Hannah.
We love how you have to create your path on your own. This gives us to think more compare to the earlier version which we find it a little too predictable, we mean you can already see the path where they are going. This one is for definitely for the win. If you love puzzles that really makes you think. This is for you.
This game has been around for a while. Theres a newer version but play this one first. What puzzles us is how some scores are so high. Im guessing people are buying more chances. Great game…Enjoy.
This was a game from our childhood and it was great. Now its not too modern but its still a decent game.
Love it. Uninstalled due to a glitch but it's fixed now so we got it back. Love that they didn't change the game itself.
The graphics are great. The game play is smooth. And it is quite challenging even at the easy level.
We have been searching for the gam for months and we forgot the name of it so we couldn't find it and we thought they took it off the App Store but YAY IT IS STILL HERE. We think it's a really good app, and one you can use without wifi which is really good. And we like how you have high scores and all the different levels. Keep it up! This app is one of our favorites.
Enemies randomly change direction and get so strong it doesnt matter what elaborate path you set up.
We agree with Protato Apr 24 2018, enemies can sneak through places where towers can't be built, can't block them. Game broke.
Game is incredibly frustrating because it is impossible to estimate where the gaps are in your line. You cant build near the edges, and mobs appear to change path randomly or go around what youve built for no apparent reason. That should ONLY happen in a TD game if the player has completely blocked the path. Unplayable like this.
We have downloaded many Tower Defense games, but GRAND DEFENSE is our favorite.
Straightforward, decent graphics, gets harder. Best of the 5 tried.

We don't like the grand defense 2, due to the fact it doesn't have a child option, this version worked just fine until they updated and now we wasted money to buy the kids play and can't use it.
Too glitchy and too many uncontrollables for an open map tower defense game. If you could control the movement of the bugs more with placement of towers and lost the glitches it would be great.
It does not provide upgrades or different types of characters. It is too boring.

It's the best TD game ever we can't stop playing.
Just started, but seems like a good game. Things get tricky at level 18, but we don't want to buy any help.
Gr8 game 4 our 8 & 10 yr old. We get 2 play it 2 ;-).
Love this game. Keep going back to it.
Then it gets boring. Just hard enough to make you buy coins to easily get through to the end.
Made a little to hard with out paying. You can make a maze then they just walk over or in between it in the later levels.
Pretty addictive. A little too challenging, especially at the higher difficulty settings. We purchased in-app content and it disappeared at some point. We're guessing after installing a new version update. All in all, it's a fun game to play every now and then, but we certainly wouldn't pay for any extra content again.
This app crashed our iphone on our first game. Deleted.
Even on easy levels, there is no way to play for any length of time without purchasing extra stuff. No meaningful support anywhere we could find either.
If you have played TD before, don't bother.
We think what we love most about this game is the sound effects. The bell dinging cracked us up every single time! But, we mean, everything was as simple as it could effing possibly be. Everything. But the sound effects were hilarious to us. Freakin loved it.
There are not 85 levels. It is 85 waves of the same boring thing.
A good td game and just a lot of fun.
We play on gdefense for hours and its worth the addiction because its like a puzzle we would totally recommend this game.
You can tell most of the 5 star reviews were written by the developer. Fun overall though… Gets boring after a little bit though. We'd give it 3 1/2 stars if we didn't have to balance out the bogus reviews.
