This games is a hidden GEM! Everyone is sleeping on this! Devs! You have a powder keg waiting to explode! This game has SOOOO MUCH. And yet, 32 reviews? We are going to do everything in our power to make this game known. It is one of the app stores ALL TIME GREATS! Ive played this game since 2013 and am still hooked whenever we come back to it. Its the attention to details, precision in action, love for design, and the epitome of devs putting love into their code. From jokes in character descriptions, to discovering that you have to upgrade a part to 100% to discover a newer, better part(youre welcome). This game needs a community, it needs appreciation. We hope the devs look back on this game and recreate the love in a successor. GPS2 is not a successor.
EDIT: like 5-7 years later got this game again. Played nonstop beat it in 7 hours – maxed stats, 999 research points, beat Kairoland track, have 2 kairo kars. Game was too addictive so deleted it lol. But super fun and very well made. We love how much detail Kairo put into this. We mean they have successfully reached the hardcore race-fan crowd with this. Even in the animations during racing, the more you train your drivers the cleaner the apexes they take and the more they go WOT. Also the names are a hoot and cleverly done, like "Ireton Cena", "S. Bettel", "Lou Hampton", and the game just seems to pick fun at itself and not take itself to seriously as you play. Fun game, if you like and respect racing, you'll enjoy it. If you like simulation/management games, you'll enjoy it too.
Well worth the purchase, one of the better Kairosoft games.
We have played beastie bay and Game dev story, and we liked the way you play. It may get hard at a point (formula Asia) but it's still good. If you are in thought of how to play, you use money to upgrade the cars and research new ones, while hiring and training a crew. You aren't the driver, all you do is watch, but it's fun to cheer.
One of the few games that we've had on our phone since it came out. But can we please have a new one.
Fun but it gets old. There is almost no replay ability for this game.
Well we play this game since they released it and still play it till today. But there is a bug that never happened before. When we moved up to Formula Asia, we have 2 teams now. Normally when cars were fixed, the driver and crews status will go up randomly. But our 1st team stat got nothing, all we get is tech +0, pedal +0 and all +0. Do you know why this happened.
Im at year 6 with tons of money and progress during the Grand Prix last race we sold our car & made a new one but we didnt finish in time, we won & was prompted to the ceremony and a notification box pops on our screen with the following an error occurred and we cant continue PLEASE HELP.

Overall money well spent! We looked at this game wanting a business game just to see if we could turn a profit but found a really in depth fun and exciting game that got us hooked! It's a pay once and play game to so that really helps and though u dont actually race the cars urself u actually are the manager from deciding the parts that go on the car to the sponsorship ur team get! Not much of a tutorial and tricky at first but extremely fun once u get going!!! Honestly we don't write reviews but this app truely deserved one!! We're very happy with this game even if it was a few bucks.

By far hands down one of the best games on the App Store. A Grand Prix story 2 would be ur next best game. A true masterpiece of a game that anyone can learn. Thank you Kairosoft.
A Grand Prix story 2 would be an amazing game and would purchase the game as soon as we could.
Let us say that among Kairosoft's many excellent games, this one is our favorite. It is well paced, challenging and has good depth. We are less happy to report, however, that for some reason the game runs horrendously slow on our iPhone 4, to the point where we really just can't play.
No in app purchases and hours of fun! We love this game.

Whatever Kairosoft did on the last update is now causing this game to frequently crash and lag badly! It's almost unplayable now! Please fix this ASAP.
We bought and played this a while ago, but now we cannot redownload it. The game is amazing, and we want to play it. All other downloads work fine.
Basic graphics but a really fun game that is better the second and third times you play.

This "minor" update makes it native to the 6S Plus resolution! We love it! We can keep playing this game over and over and the HD make over is great.
Great game, but crashes on iOS 9.2 (13C75).
We bought this game just wanting a quick fix for a racing game and we got so much more. Everything in this game is perfect! All of the challenges are not to easy but not to hard and they create the perfect combination of fun! Get this game now! Although, it will not open on our iPhone 6 but worked great on our iPhone 5.

Ever since we updated to the latest iOS9.0.2 we have not been able to play. Every time we try and play it just crashes without even getting to the start menu.
We bought this game for $1.00 and whenever we press the app it crashes and doesn't work. We guess it doesn't work on iOS 9. Please fix we want to play this game so badly.
This game is super fun and addicting. To add on to there large variety of racing games(kairosoft) they should make a bike racing game like a "Tour da France" style game.

This is one of the most addicting games ever once we stayed up for 3 hours and played this game.
Very fun, different every time you play. Nearly impossible to beat all of the races in the time limit, but we'll keep trying. Great game if you have free time between classes and like racing.
A sequel or significant add on content would be nice.
You guys keep making the games to similar. You should make a game similar to the Village Story game but it is open world and you can control your character. But, keep it 8-bit because it has something to it that adds to the fun of the game.
Everything is great about this game. The tempo, the customization of the cars, the ease of play, the challenge of winning, the drama, everything. You can play for two minutes or ten hours. If you don't know what this genre of game is, it's a type of sim where you manage a race team. You do not drive the cars during the race, you watch them. How well the cars and drivers perform depends on how you have trained and upgraded them. If you have a long flight or long weekend at the in-laws, this game is a life saver.
We LOVE YOUR GAMES. PLEASE BRING MORE. QUICKLY.

This game was our favorite app but it gets old after completing the game a couple of times. They should make a second one or an update or something and maybe more than one or two laps like maybe four or five. But still a great game and a must buy.
We first tried the light version and fell in love with the game. It has the basic build and watch game play as most of there games. You can't controle the cars. If you played the light version first you would get that. But for a racing game it gives you insight on how to build a race team and customize your race cars. If you love strategy games then this is your game. Each car has different setup. Don't count out the hours spent trying to win every track. And there's more then just 8 of the same old tracks. They went the extra mile and constantly keep you changing everything up! A must buy.
Not much to say, but if your a fan of the other Kairosoft releases, you have to give this a try. Once again, the carry over on replaying the game makes it more addictive.
Great game! But like all their other games. Once you figure out the secret to doing good it's really easy. But, doesn't take away the fun factor.
