This game is like we remember playing it but the players can get annoying. We played this game with our friend because it was a long time since weve done it and some guy whos probably using his moms credit card stole our worlds twice. We had a lot of builds n stuff and it was aggravating. And then out of nowhere our firend got banned for 2 years for hacking or somthing even though we play on mobile. Other than that put world locks on and enjoy the game.

We were hacked a while back and had one of our worlds stolen from us, they banned the account that hacked us but never gave back our worlds and other stolen items. Customer service gives automated responses and take forever to reply.
Our account is 5 years and 180 days old and we just wanted to thank ubisoft for creating a game that was such a big part of our childhood. Even though ubisoft is really greedy (siege), they did a great job when taking over development of the game. We remember getting scammed more times than we want to admit, but in the end we learned a life lesson: never trust someone you meet online, no matter how authentic they seem. We revisit the game once every few months just to see the state of the game, and even with all the casino bots, the community is still thriving, even though the game isnt as popular as before. Overall, thanks ubisoft for the great game, and thanks to the scammers for teaching us a life lesson.
We tried to make a new account so we can play the game again but it said that account creation if disabled.
Im not talking about the casino worlds that you are spam messaged about every second or the worlds the spam bots are promoting on every world thats semi popular.
We’ve been in love with this game ever since our cousin showed it to us when we were 7. We didnt think we would be close to him till this day we are now 15 and we dont regret downloading this game. We made so many memories and remember playing with friends and even made new friends that also played the game for fun. We enjoyed every single update Growtopia had and we enjoy the memories we made. Thank you for bringing us such Joy in our childhood.

DOWNLOADED THROUGH THE APP STORE??? SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE WAS MONEY SPENT FOR IN GAME ITEMS.. WOULDNT DOWN LOAD USE TO BE FUN GAME FOR YOU TO PLAY WITH FAMILY MEMBERS THATS IF YOU CAN GET ON WITH THE CONSTANT SERVER OVERLOAD.. DO BETTER GROWTOPIA..
This is a very nice game to play and can socialize with other PLAYERS. However, there can be a twist with trusting these players This is not the games fault for having ridiculous and toxic players that are playing the game. In addition, there are HACKERS and we do not mean real life hackers that hacks your IP address, hackers that are in the game, people tend to download hacks from other website and/or apps to get rich handless. Yes, Hackers are truly the impact of the whole game and there may also be account hackers in the future. But you do not have to worry about this since the game can secure your account from anyone trying to log in and you just had to confirm your e-mail if the person that are trying to log in is you. However, some people like us.. Forgotten our email on the account we are using, could be frightening if someone hacked onto our account. Anyways, this game is a game for socializing, showing your creative building skills, having somewhat helpful moderators in this game and by not blaming them, the game can get boring over time without events. We personally like this game when it comes to business profiting and relate it to real-life.
Sad that game had to be ruined by bots spamming you 24/7 and 80% of the players being bots as well.

We’ve played this game for over 10 years now and we have to say we’ve never and will never be tired of what it has to offer. Yeah with a new team of developers come changes, along with a less creator involved gameplay from a company as big as Ubisoft. But we have to say so far this game has been well maintained and still manages to be pretty fun. The hours still seem to fly by as we play just as fast as they did when we were 10 years younger. Amazing game with amazing creators who put their hearts into their craft. This game thought us about life and how harsh it can be sometimes, but also how be a good sales man. A very simple game has thought us so much and continue to amaze us to this day.
Growtopia used to be a lovely game where youd interact with others and build your world until the bans occurred. Most of our friends were banned for third person parties for being in the same world, same location, same time, trying to have fun together, when they were banned for TWO YEARS. It was wrong of Growtopia mods and we thought it was a misunderstanding, so we reached out to the staff. All they did was lead us to the website WHICH ID ALREADY CHECKED.
We’ve reinstalled and deleted this app, had our friend make us an account to try to login, and switched to data and wifi to try to connect but nothing is working.
We bought gems for our birthday the 10$ one it said youre all set but never said we would receive them it took our money we want our money back or the gems we bought to be in our account right now or we will get your game deleted from all platforms.
We are give it one star because our account got banned for no reason because growtopia moderation are not doing nothing about people account getting banned.
We’ve been playing the game since it came out but stopped for about 5 years. We just started playing again recently but our main account we used was hacked, we were told Theres nothing we can do. Within 3 days ago we started on a new account and followed guides to become rich and we were banned for no reason we’ve been told Were not going to re-negotiate our actions, your not allowed to play this game again. Honestly we wouldnt play this game, we spent time and money on here just to get banned for an unjustified cause.
A great game been playing it since we were around 11 or 12 and Im now 18 however none of our friends play or are lost accounts which we dont remember so everytime we play the memories flood.

The game is great and contains a lot of things, and the game is a semi-open world and can equal houses, trees and many things. In short, the game deserves this post and more.

We used to have growtopia on our switch but then one day we didnt have it and then we went in the eshop and looked for it but it wasnt there and after that day we just forgot about the game and a few hours ago we just remembered about it so we searched what is growtopia on? , and we found it was on mobile so we downloaded it on our phone and it is better than we remember, so in conclusion we like the game.
This game brings back the childhood memories. But the thing is, is that we cant make an account anymore. It says we made multiple accounts already.
3 days, before yesterday and today we tried to log on the game but it kept saying error connecting timed out even before the game updated to now. We tried reset cable , redownload, change account,etc.. We thought it was not enough time but now it was just… We had hopes that it would be fix. Our friend told us that he got banned for 2 years where he accidentally brought a game pass and wanted a refund. Why is he banned … Isnt this not a scam ? All his work and progress lost. This game was fun and creative back in the old days where the game where kept check. Even though its a game for profiting and where we had hard times in the game ( got scam hack) we still were able to play because our friends where playing … Now most quitted because they where bored,hacked or even scammed and banned for no reason. This game was find when we first started it with some friends.
The game dont welcome any newcomers and there is a lot of hackers casinos and scammers taking your stuff and when we fight back at them using ways we get banned permanently for example us we quit and we are on of the first people playing this game is shameful and sorry for the game its own for having a nice view and fun.
We first played this game when it came out, around 2012-2013. We were 10 when we first played and we enjoyed Growtopia. It was easy making friends, random people would join worlds, people would broadcast worlds of pixel art, and people would socialize with one another. There wasnt this constant pressure of trying to be the richest person in the game at all. Cool updates enhanced social activities such as roleplay and cosmetics, and heck, we were so excited when the dungeon pack came out. The game was so simple with the player community bonding together over worlds, creativity and much more. CAPITALISM As years pass by, update after update, the passionate wholesome community slowly dissipated away. It started becoming more about money, trading, and marketing. Every broadcast in Growtopia started advertising shops, world locks (in game currency now), and more. Sure every MMO has a player economy with their own section of players who are in it to get rich, but Growtopia however is packed with greedy players who take over broadcast channels to advertise their own shop. The more we come back to this game, we see less of creativity. NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY Besides this growing capitalism player state of the game, present time Growtopia isnt beginner friendly anymore. The tutorial isnt that helpful, giving you a world lock to lock worlds and showing you how to plant dirt and harvest dirt, along with fertilizing dirt. Theres not much to splicing and farming along with gems and more. When heading into the START (the beginning area where new players are put in) world after the tutorial, youre then constantly spammed by bots advertising their gambling worlds have we mentioned gambling? Looking into Growtopia as a complete newbie with no experience whatsoever, you’re bombarded with being haunted, experiencing curses, handling random debuffs with no idea how to cure yourself or the world. The game basically puts new players out there to let them figure out a game that became so complex. You have to know how to play and where to go in order to enjoy the game. GAMBLING Mentioned before, theres a lot of gambling in the game. Growtopias economy runs on World Locks which are bought with gems that you can buy with using real life currency. In a way, it can be p2w (pay to win) where you can buy gems to buy more world locks to buy more things. When we first played the game, we remember the big rule of no casinos or any gambling matter, although dices and number-generating based items were implemented. You could report players if they ever advertise them and bans would happen and be broadcasted publicly in the game. Though logging into present Growtopia, there would be broadcasts of people advertising their casinos, playing blackjack, and just plainly advertising gambling. Its as if the moderators stopped caring about the player base at all. THEYRE TRYING (but not really) Although theyre not beginner friendly, focused more on money, and not really doing anything with the gambling problem, they do have the social MMO aspect that most MMOs have. They have guilds, quests, a whole battle pass (which imo is kind of ridiculous), and levels (which is ridiculous too). Certain activities and worlds are level locked, where youre able to access them when you reach a certain level. We guess its understandable, but as an old player we can see it being frustrating and unbelievable when you just wanna socialize and not grind for things. Guilds are mostly for socializing, there arent really any RPG elements except for card mini games where you have to buy your own cards or grow them but thats a whole other thing. CONCLUSION Theres other things we want to review, but this is all we have in mind for now. Im just kind of disappointed in the state of the game and we miss the old times where you can just hop world to world and socialize with random players. Overall, this game is a game where you have to research a lot in order to understand how to play.
We Love this game but we love that youll ban someone permanently for using auto clickers but yall cant get rid of Spambots,Casinos,Scammers and then some. Thats the most dumb thing we’ve ever seen. Your start worlds are full of bots and new players dont know whats going on. The population of the game is usually 25% full of spam bots. Ubisoft you really ruined this game to many glitches to many scammers we wish Seth and them never sold the game to yall.
It was way better when it was like 6-7 years ago.
Sadly Ubisoft took over Growtopia we think it was better with Seth and hamumu owning the game.
This used to be our childhood game Id go to every time and chat with the small community it had. Ubisoft ruined everything.
Us and our cousin used to play this on Nintendo switch but than it was taken down on Nintendo so we stopped playing for a year or two but now that Im trying it again Im realizing what we missed out on!!
Servers stay full most of the day making it hard to log on. Other than that its an okay game.
This game taught us more than school did in just three years. We would hop on this game right after school as a little kid. This game taught us so many things. It taught us how the economy worked. How to make money. Id get scammed over and over and cry about it, but Id play it still over and over. We also learned the hard truth, you cant be rich without doing something morally wrong, in the real world and in Growtopia. We would give this a 5/5, but nothing is perfect.
We’ve been playing this game for the past 6-7 years and we cant even play it anymore due to the amount of literal robot accounts made to spam in peoples worlds. The servers are capped out and this is just ridiculous. The game itself has given us a lot of good and bad times and thats why we give it 3 stars. It would be 5 if we could actually play it.
Fix your servers, we’ve been trying to get in for 20 minutes and all we see is server is at max capacity this happens everyday.
We got suspended twice by ubisoft. We didn’t even broke the rules.
We’ve tried reaching thru the game and cant so why is all our bgl locked all our stuff is legit so explain why.
Developer response has been the same for years , literally in plain sight that they dont care about you.
