Make sure to put LS instead of 1s to avoid confusion on the list of messages, we suffered on it for 2 days. Overall the game is insanely good, balance and has thrill into the stories.

If you are just getting into learning Linux commands and how to navigate through different directories, we recommend getting this game. It is incredibly simple and we dont mean it in a bad way. There is no constant ads popping up, all they ask is for a donation if you simply enjoy the game and honestly we really like that. Well done.
This is a great game, if u had the money we would definitely donate, the only problem is the part where you have to guess Hugos password, but the entire game is GREAT.

This game is beautifully designed and, at no point during the experience are there pop up adds that may disrupt the gameplay!!!! The storyline and text are seamless and at no point does it feel rushed or repetitive, honestly we cant believe this game isnt more popular, with everything it provides youd think itd have more reviews but we digress. This is a nice clever fun game, got the hacker terminal feel and the good ol commands. Just really fun game in general we love it.

Theres some spelling/grammar errors, some situations game us trouble (usually our fat fingers were pressing wrong keys though), but all the answers are basically there.
Very simple game but it is entertaining and we like how you can still use Linux commands in the command line to work the game. It is fun and it is easy to use. Very enjoyable.
We are so dumb we cant solve the first on and for the first two days we didnt know we had to solve something.
We had an amazing time playing this. We would recommend it to anyone it was a lot of fun and the story was a ROLLERCOSTER. 10/10.

Don't get us wrong, we love this game. But sometimes it is a little confusing but luckily it's been around for long enough and is popular enough that there are lots of posts about it. If we could change one thing though, it would be making the tictactoe challenge easier.

While the writing is a bit dumb at times, and some of the puzzles can be quite frustrating, its really good at making you think. It immerses you into the game and the pay off of figuring it out is quite satisfying. A decent game for people who like brain games.
Definitely would recommend this to anyone, an amazing game by design. Definitely for the hacker within. Definitely can get lost in the game and we mean that in the best way possible.
For a text-based game, this has quite a bit of depth.
This game is outstanding. We never thought it would be this entertaining. One complaint we do have is the game is surprisingly short. When we got to the end we didnt actually know it was the end. Maybe try and add some more to do, that way people can play for longer.
Frankly this game is so much fun if you havent played hack run we would say start there. Mechanics are the same as hackRUN (play first so you dont lose interest in this one) and the environment feels so good like Im actually doing the hacking, it makes us feel comfortable with the the idea of a terminal which is used a lot in actual hacking so this feels like training in a safe environment to mess up and not have to worry about braking a pc. Other then that its really fun.
The game is a command-line interface we do like that it makes you fill as if u are a real hacker The commands are a little bit on the easy side but great game Absolute love the idea of what you tried to convey to the user.
We usually dont ever write reviews but we love that this game gives you the full experience even if you arent donating any money and doesnt try to take out parts of said game. Its a wonderful experience with a great storyline! We recommend to anyone on the fence.
Love this game. Also for people that are having the problem where you cant edit the guys salary because the numbers are invalid, you cant use a comma you have type in a number like this 60000 instead of this 60,000.

We love this game, it makes us feel like a real hacker! So many people have seen us play it and think Im actually hacking, its funny. But yes, the only problem is sometimes we have absolutely no clue what to do, soI kinda search up what to do just to continue. We wouldve loved donating money right now, but we have no money. Maybe later in the months once we get money, Ill definitely donate! To make up for not being able to pay, the least we can do is rate it. Very good game, love it. <3.
A tiny bit challenging at first but it gets so fun. Feels really cool.
We really love this game. We joined a info security club recently, this game really helps us think outside the box. We really appreciate the teams effort into building this game. We feel sorry that we cannot pay you because we are in a ton of student debt. But we truly appreciate your time and sweat! If at all possible, we are more than happy to help you with other projects.
This game is just amazing. The storyline and the way the devs make it is great and it stops you in the beginning if you want to pay or not. If you decide not to it doesnt shame you it says no worries which is great! Great game.
Overall great game it really teaches you come of the basics to coding and getting around a terminal there was a few places that were tricky like there was a change in salary on one part and the value wouldnt accept but after some thinking its was easily solved and the rest was completed.
