Welcome to Hangman by Coolmath Games! We’ve added a fun new twist to this classic word game! Play dozens of awesome categories and solve thousands of unique puzzles!
Your goal is to guess the word or phrase to save the player from the hungry monster. Guess one letter at a time to see if it’s in the Hangman word. Tap on a letter to guess it and the letter will fill in a blank space if you guess a letter correctly. If not, you’ll pop a balloon and get closer to falling in the beast’s mouth! Try to guess the word or phrase once you have enough correct letters on the Hangman board.
Don’t guess too many letters wrong, or the beast will get you! Guess wrong and a balloon will pop. Once all the balloons are gone, you fall to the ground and get gobbled up!
Guess the hangman word or phrase correctly to save up your balloons for the next hangman challenge. Up the ante by increasing the hangman puzzle difficulty – you’ll have fewer balloons to hang on to!
FREE HANGMAN WORD & LETTER GUESSING TIPS & STRATEGIES
Use your vowels. Looking at vowels is a good way to start. Since there are only 5, you can fill in some blanks pretty quickly. They can even help you guess the answer straight away. For example, if you try the letter A and the word looks like this ‘_A_A_A’, you might be able to guess straight away that the answer is BANANA just from one letter.
Break down phrases. When trying to guess a phrase, break it up and look at each word rather than focusing on the letters. If you can guess one word then it may lead you to guess the other words in the phrase.
Don’t forget to guess your Js and Zs. The letters J and Z always trip people up. They’re both rare and it’s not always obvious when you need one to complete a word or phrase. Don’t guess a Z or a J at the very beginning but keep them in mind as you play.

Only ads had got us but it reminded us of us pplaying coolmathgames.
The ads are longer than the hangman games. This used to be a fun game but video ads are way too long. Im not wasting our time any more. Its just stupid of how long the adds are.

Hey man is the best game ever everyone should play.
We like this game. The graphics are cute. The puzzles arent very hard, even at the hard level. Itd be nice if they added more , or an even harder level. The only complaint is so many ads.
After every ad that we get we cant ever see how much balloons we have and plz get a whole bunch more ads if there were no ads we would have gave them a 5 star.
We really recommend playing this game because its really fun and your mind knows more about this game and its energetic to play it and you can play it with friends and family and guess stuff to type and lose and win you can be the world record best player at this game and we just started Playing this game and we have more than 2 points we really like this game you should play it.
It is a fun game dont get us wrong! But we feel like after a while you already know many words and it gets a bit boring. We wish that you could play either singular or with other people even just bots! And that you could customize your character just like the old one on cool math games, overall it isnt bad, no hate :).
Really good game but the ads are annoying and too often.
We like this game but it wont Let us play it we just stay on a white screen so they need to fix that we dont see letters or a monster just our stick figure.
It takes way to long to load More than 10 min.
Ive been playing the game for a few days, but both the iPad and iPhone version are now flickering. Re-downloading the app hasnt helped and neither has restarting devices. We really hope it is fixed soon.
Love the game but the flow gets interrupted WAY too often, especially for apps Ill never use.
