We cant play this enough. Im addicted to Japanese logic puzzles because our brain craves that kind of thinking, apparently. We used to do conceptis and Nikoli puzzles on the computer in the days before iPads and Hedgehog Gardens has a great UI that some other puzzle inventors havent been so successful at translating to touch devices. If we can swipe and tap as fast as our brain is thinking, youve made a good puzzle app. Theres nothing more frustrating than having to open a number pad sub menu to enter every single digit of a sudoku or Kakuro. In Hedgehog, you can just keep tapping to get those bursts of dopamine! We cant say more good things about this app, other than we saw it on our sisters iPad too and she confessed shes played every level multiple times. As have we! Give us more.
It took us a little while to get into it but then we were hooked. There is something oddly satisfying about the sound of the munching.
We're a sudoku fan, but we are also enjoying Hedgehog Gardens a lot and finding it very addictive. We think the developers have been very mindful of the user. There are ads, but the ads are not obstrusive, and they do not interrupt play, which we appreciate a lot. You don't have to solve every single puzzle in one level before you can try a harder level. You can also go back and choose to do easier level games whenever you want. There are several games available in each level so if you get stuck on one, you can leave it for a while and still do another on the same level. You are not forced to either complete a puzzle or be stuck. We thought we had issues with the counter, but that was resolved once we figured out that you can control it with swipes. You can also change what the counter shows in "Settings." Kudos to the developers for making a fun, addicting, free app. There is enough free content with non-obnoxious ads that we will gladly pay for upgrades.
Really enjoy this game and its user-friendly interface.
Played this when it first came out. The game is fun, offers different degrees of challenge and new levels are made all the time. Advertisements are present but do not interrupt game play. We did have some issues with freezing during tutorials. Closing the app and restarting solved this. Enjoy.
Perfect brain teaser! There are very few logic puzzles, and this one is perfect in every way.
We love this game it is super addictive but one time the spinner changed out of no where and never went back to its original form which was very jarring and makes the game harder to play.
Logic based games are our favorite so this is perfect. We also recommend this developers other logic game apps.
This game is diverting without getting us "stuck" on levels.
We are loving this game! We havent gotten to the hardest levels yet, but it is challenging enough for when we have a few minutes. We give it four stars because the controls arent as user friendly as we could wish. We would like it better if there was a way to set our preferred controls and have them every time we play. There are adds, but they arent intrusive.

We enjoy this addictive game! But would like to see the numbers we still need to place at the top of the puzzle without having to count from one when we lose our place. Would like to hit a button to see how many numbers we have solved correctly; we want to pick the hint we want.
This is a great game, and we love it. But recently it's been closing out for no reason, when we're in the middle of a level, and then have to start it all over.
Worse app we ever downloaded. Cannot get pass 3rd level without screen locking up! Shame – this game looked like it would be fun and challenging.
All of Andrea's apps work wonderfully and are well designed. We love the logic puzzles to pass the time.

The best alternative to sudoku.
This provides hours of fun if you like games of deduction. It's a nice variant of the kind of logic used in sudoku.
We are enjoying this, though it seems mostly the same as we go along. Maybe we haven't seen all the options yet.
This is a great game. We play a little every day. We would recommend.
It takes a few tries to get the hang of it but it soon begins to flow. It seems as though it hasn't been updated to support iPhone 6 Plus yet.
We felt so stupid, but the info doesn't tell you how to play! When you tap a square, it automatically fills in the next sequential number. Once we realized how to play, it's a cute fun puzzle.
It's an interesting and sometimes challenging set of games. It gets a bit irritating that the game makes you go back to the selection grid after a win instead of simply moving on to the next level. What's really frustrating is that if you find a legitimate solution to a level it may not be accepted as the one and only correct solution.
We love this game (the whole family of games really) but when we got a new phone, we lost our previous levels/progress. Would really like to pick up where we left off instead of starting over, but the game is fun, so starting over it is.

Still on the first set and it's not hard but it is fun to plan. It is good for "planning ahead." Good relaxing game. Great for kids.
Love this app but then ios9 was released. Now won't even open. Hoping for a bug fix soon.
Hedgehog is a fun game. There are three distinct gardens each with different rules. Anyone should be able to complete the lowest level. But if you like puzzles, like us, you will get an enduring kick out of this game.

This is a great app to keep your brain going when you don't have a lot of time.
Great puzzle to relax with! The only thing is it doesn't sync between our iPad and iPhone.
- Orchard puzzle #59 doesn't work, despite a popup from the developer saying it would be fixed. 2. Achievements seem broken. We haven't gotten any of the no-hint achievements despite never asking for a hint. 3. Gets hard fast! Don't get complacent because you've solved 80 Garden puzzles after the first hour, they at much harder. (Might be a plus for you!).
Makes you think and has various types of levels for when you want it fairly simple or to make yourself crazy. It keeps our brain going for hours.
We don't tire of playing this game, ever. Not only fun and engaging but this is the type of play that will get and keep your brain healthy. We like counting backwards, from higher to lower number, when we get stuck.

Attractive, original logic puzzles.
We really enjoy logic puzzles and originally discovered this game by playing the Logic Game compilation by this developer. The hedgehog was our favorite and we were sad when we finished all the levels. We're glad we're not the only person who became obsessed and they released this game with tons more of these puzzles. They only take a few minutes to solve, which makes them easy to do whenever you're free. We think the concept is really unique. If you're looking for a new logic game you have to try this.
Could be a little more challenging but we're still in early levels so hopefully it will get a lil harder.

We love this developer! This is a fun take on the number-grid-sudoku-style game.
A slightly different slant on Sudoku, lots and lots of fun levels.
The gardens get a little more challenging as you move to the next one. If you like a particular garden, there are plenty of new puzzles so that you can keep playing.
Sometimes the board doesn't respond and it takes a while , then next time around it works just fine, fun but slightly confusing.
Many variations on a theme. The more we do the more we like! Keeps up late at night.
Playing on our iPad and have to redo puzzles on our iPhone as our progress isn't synching.
