Terffic game! How can we get a copy of the rules? How do we know what the special hands are? Apparently, if we steal a Kong as the last tile then this is a win. But we had all pairs and this was not a win. Gates of Heaven? Pong with bamboo is not extra fan.
It appears to be 100% bot play, which makes sense. Impossible to coordinate otherwise. Great for practice. A little addictive. ;-) Im just trying to figure out why some legit hands dont woo. Our guess is if its a zero hand with no fans, IOW, no points, then you have to try something else.
This is by far one of our favorite authentic Cantonese mahjong game. However, the developer has missed the mark on the Wind. It was never accurate. Then, the game sometimes has a glitch on Self pull . It will have one of the player pays the money instead of all 3 players. Then, the annoying missing Suzhou boat stays on for so long that the banner blocks the player from selecting the card. We hope the developer will fixs these bugs.
We have been playing on and off for a few years and the system still not fixed. We had two correctly flowers and we were calling 1-4-7 of sticks (chicken hand) but across from us threw out 7stickd and we should have won at least 1 fan if not 2 fan. But it did not allow us to win at all. So the (1 fan and up) system is still not correct.
Been playing this game for a couple of years and just recently its not adding up fans correctly. Sometimes we have our own flower but doesnt count it, and when others woo, it gives them an extra fan for a flower they dont have. Last app update was about a year ago, what changed.
Fun game, but need an explanation of how to score. Sometimes points are subtracted from non winners. Sometimes your win is not achknolwedge. There needs to be a button to indicate we won to overirde the auto play. Frustrating when you have a win and is not achknowledge. Otherwise great game.
Our Dad has dementia/Alzheimers but loves this Mahjong Game. He remembers how to play and all the rules. Is there a way to pay for the adds to go away? When the adds come up, they redirect to a browser and he clicks and then doesnt know how to get back to the game. Its a little frustrating for him. Thanks.
We like this game a lot when we first downloaded, and later on, we realize it very often to replay hands, we are not sure you can pay to upgrade it, but its good enough for beginner.
Its been kind of screwed up the past year. The messages are wrong as you play on. When you actually win, the game doesnt acknowledge it.
Sometimes you leave the app and come back and it just stopped dealing. This happens quite often. Otherwise very good app to play. Could use some quick lookup on winning hands.
This game is good except it misses melds especially wins (Woo/Mahjong). We won so many times but the software needs to be updated to recognize concealed melds.
This program have a few errors. When a winning tile is throw out but Im not allow to win. There are also errors that the computer player take a tile but throw out the same tile suit with higher or lower number; which is an unnecessary move. There are comments that stay too long that cover up the game. Until we notice these have changed, then we will give a five stars.
Game auto recognizes plays and misses enough that we do not desire to play anymore. No option to turn auto recognition off.

This is not a fair play game. The game designer just want to fool you all around. Whenever you are ready for last tile to win, you will be switch to be a loser . The designer not to try to pool out tiles by randomly, but intent to make you either lose or very hard to gain point.
The big display of this version is too obtrusive.
New update version crashed too often. The new size difference between our card n other players making it harder to read other players card. Old version was better.
We love to play it almost daily! It exercises our brain and do as our fingers! But today when we tried to play the setting has been changed and all in English! We love it in Chinese and hopefully you can made it with an option! Thank you for this wonderful game! Keep up with the good work.
Perfect to play Mahjongg with radiation all rules by yourself or over the internet with others. We learned the gist of how to play earlier, and then this game allowed us to practice our skills.
Finally the real mahjong game in app form!!! We had happy tears when we found it. Ive watched our family played but it looked too complicated and no one wants to take the time to show us all the rules and how to score etc. This app explains it all, was a bit complex at first, but its not a steep learning curve. We thoroughly enjoyed it and probably be brave enough to play with real people now. Thank you for making this epic app.

We love this game and it's the next best thing to family MJ throwdowns. As a guai lo this has helped us learn the language of the game, as well as learning to read the Chinese numbers when the Arabic are not on the cards. We're still learning but this is helping us get better.

Great game and all, but we cant seem to get happy valley for some reason. Can someone explain what that is.
We revised our rating to 5 stars after now we remember the Fan scoring system. If you have a chicken woo then you cant win. That is if you have a different flower with three of a kind and consecutive numbers. That is a chicken woo and not allowed here. If you find that you have a incorrect flower then try for only all three of a kind or only all consecutive numbers will one pair to get 1 fan woo. Developer should include a tutorial on possible woos for new players.
This is a really fun game. It gives you a chance to play for fun during the pandemic! You dont need to see others to have lots of fun! Thank you.
There are many different styles of Mahjong games because every region created its own rules of winning. Even how many tiles to start each game could be different and the point system are also different. So unless you are already familiar with the Hong Kong style Mahjong then it would seem like the app is not working properly. Occasionally it has a minor glitch here and there but all game app have glitches. We were born and raised in Hong Kong and love the Hong Kong style Mahjong and this is the only one that keeps us entertain for hours. The only thing is the mechanical opponents are not as creative as human and no personality of its own. We always won.
This really is the best Mahjong on line. Have been playing it for 2years and enjoy it. All the children in our family had to learn Mahjong when we made 8 years old and we are Hawaiians living in Makaha, Hawaii. So enjoy it everyone and teach your children. Us Ke Aloha Pumehana to the World.

We are relatively new to mah-jongg, but after watching a bunch of YouTube videos, and reading a lot, this game seems to have the Hong Kong rules down. We love that they put all of the hands up on the scoring page at the end of the hand. It really helps to learn the fan system. The only suggestion we would have is to add the flowers for the hand on the same page. Great job! Keep it up.

One of the best. Occasionally, it does weird play like taking a tile and discarding the same one. But overall, very good.
Many times we would have won the game, but the software does not recognize our winning tile, either self-picked or from another player. Please fix this problem. We really enjoy playing this version because we feel it is one of the best apps that resembles real game of Mah Jong.
There are many versions of Mah Jong, and once you get used to this version, it's fun and is less frustrating. We believe it's based on the Hong Kong version, with restricted rules, depending on the room or "club" you are in. The restrictions are noted once you enter. We've gotten to play a variation where you can get all pongs or consecutives–as long as it adds up to the minimum fan requirement. Our only problem with this app is that we were unable to register and be in the ranking/ hall of fame. It gave us an error when we registered so that takes some of the fun out. Also, are we playing with real players or with the computer? At times we can't really tell… Sometimes we think they are all computer players…just because of how fast they take turns, but on the other hand, that is the speed you're supposed to be playing at. So who knows.
Need to fix the sound. Volume at the max and still cant hear the voices.
Family likes this game but for some reason the volume is not functioning correctly or iOS 16.11. Can barley hear the game. Is there a fix to that or an upgraded version.
12 piece penalty is ridiculous. The game automatically sends pieces and player must always discard the 14th piece before the next player plays. Otherwise enjoying the game. Good practice. Please fix the 12 piece penalty then Ill give 5 stars.
It would be nice if the game was consistent in recognizing a mahjongg win.
Recently, there were frequent quits of the app on its own while we were in the middle of the game with no probable reason.
Hard to get the hang of with no instructions available.
Love this but give 3 stars because we wish it were in English. Also sometimes we have mahjong that arent recognized by the app.
This MAHJONG app is fun! We usually play the American version with an annual card that lists possible hands. But we enjoy playing with CHOWS, PONGS, and KONGS. There are two problems with the app. One is that sometimes the program does not recognize a discarded tile as one that we need. This is also happens when we have won the game, but the program doesnt recognize the win. The second problem is the super-fast discarding by the bots which prevents us from claiming a tile. If these two problems could be fixed, this app would be a winner.
We like it but it does not let you win! A card was thrown out that we needed to win, but we wasnt given an option to pong. Thanks.
This game has been set up against the player as the defender. The game 90% of the time is to make the player lose so we have to buy more points in order to keep playing. Many times we caught the automatic set-up pay-out system takes away chips from the players side even it wasnt the player who dealt out the winning card of the opponents win or dealt out 4 sets of 3 cards each and the winner drew its own winning 14th card. We can see the system has been set up NOT to let the player win more points than what has been given to him/her (2,600 points for free) from the beginning of each game. No matter how one tries to go over 4,000 – 5,000 points by winning skillfully, the system just wont let you have it. So that has been frustrating and has caused us to stop playing for a while. The while game has been FIXED. NOT FAIR AND THEREFORE NO FUN.
We played the game twice to see if we like it. Both times we should have won but we did not see where we can hit mahjong. Very odd.
We see a lot of people complaining about not being able to woo and such. We have had a similar problem, particularly with seven pairs. For some reason we had the hand but the game wouldnt allow us to claim the final tile? Is this not a valid hand.
