This is just like the racing games at any local arcade that we used to have back in the day. You can hook your controller to it from Xbox or PlayStation play it like its on your TV its great its one of the greatest racing games on Apple Arcade next to asphalt.
This game is okay its fun that you get to race and all but it is really really hard to win so we give it four stars.
This app will no longer work on our AppleTv. Its been offloaded, deleted, reinstalled and fails to get beyond the logo and seat belt click. A black screen is all that appears.
We have this on the ps4 as horizon chase turbo it was so much fun but it had Better customizations for cars that is need for this port to mobile.

We needed something oreplacethe fun we have at home on our pic when playing assets corsa while Im out and about. This does pretty well and is pretty simple arcademchani s but still involves racing mechanics such as overtaking etc. Overall Im having fun going through the story mode trying to get first place on everything so we can get the special car.
Its absolutely just like how we have it on PlayStation its a Maisie has all the features its amazing we love this game because whenever we play on the PS5 or 4 its just exactly like the game its just amazing we have no other words to say it.
Reinstalled it to see if it would have sound but none! No music or SFX! Ill have to look for this on the PC instead. Looks like a solid fun game and music composed by legend Barry Leitch.
So for some reason, the button for acceleration (pedal) is wonky. It happens to speed up then slow down all the way, while we still have gas, not red but yellow, and not hitting any shoulders of the road. Please help!

We almost boycotted this permanently. The game itself is great. But summer vibes attempts to toss in just a touch of woke crap in a game that doesnt need or deserve that kind of treatment. The studios attitude about it was despicable also. Barry Leitch saves it in our eyes. He is an absolute gem of a human with a real ear for stupid great music.
We have loved this game since it came out. Its simple pretty and fun reminds us of playing back on 16 bit consoles. Im very sad that sequel came out because its probably then end to any more updates or DLC (happily paid for them all). HC2 is only on subscription Apple Arcade and Im NOT going anywhere near that.
Great game but you have to pay to pretty much do anything other than the first city.
Horizon Chase, seems like a really fun title and Im enjoying it so far we believe. We dig the retro graphics, artwork design and sound design as well. The speeds of the races is quite exhilarating, too, in our opinion. We also found the the DLC prices to be quite fair and we already purchased the World Tour package thus far. The only negative issue we’ve found with this racer is the whole concept of – fuel. To be honest we find the fact that you can run out of fuel during a race to just be irritating as heck. We realize one of the goals is to obtain fuel while racing. But, we cant say we understand the inclusion of this challenge and part of the video game at all. Because if youre racing in a very dense race full of so many other cars we found it is quite difficult to get to either side to obtain the fuel needed for the full race. We just end up slamming into the A.I. Racers and miss our chance for fuel. Im not complaining about having to work hard for a challenge, really. We like a good a challenge and most games without risk and reward would be quite boring and meaningless we believe, most games. Yet, again, having the ability, option, or whatever you call it, to run out of fuel during any race is just pointless in our opinion. We realize this is an arcade racer but we have never played one of this genre of racing games where we had to account for our fuel the entire race. And one where our loss of the level would be dictated by randomly missing and retrieving enough fuel to even finish the given level. Thats just crazy we think. To us, its seriously irritating and in our personal opinion this game would be much more fun without having the possibility to run out of fuel during any race. Maybe Im in the minority in that opinion and, again, we dont mind a challenge. Its just kind of bonkers that despite how well we drive that we can completely lose the race if there are too many cars in the way each lap to obtain the proper amount of fuel to even finish the race. Other than the aggravating fuel part of Horizon Chase Im generally enjoying this video game. We would just ask the developer to please consider removing the whole fuel part of the game or add more of it to each level or just please offer some other solution so that we dont have the possibility run out of gasoline during a race, despite how well we’ve progressed in a level. Thank you if you will consider our request and thank you as well for all of the hard work and time by everyone who worked on this title and that was no doubt put into Horizon Chase. It has amazing levels and its a good challenge. So you play the levels and you get points to open more levels. We say all this but there is a down side. In some races you feel like a different car would be better for the race but free to play player dont get this. You are stuck with a single red and you have to buy a pass to get a new car. We understand the price isnt bad but we also dont want to pay for this when we can just play a different game. The only free things is the world tour and three races from daily challenges. We love playing this game, its just hard when u dont have the greatest car. You dont need a different car to win but it would be nice to maybe change the color or maybe the shape. By the end of the day, still a good game.
New bonus unlocked pop up every time when into World Tour section, have this problem for almost a year, how hard is that to fix this bug?

This game makes no sense you unlock new cars with daily challenges and you cant even drive them 1 star for us if we could give 0 we would.
We love this game. It is a high thrilled race chase and we love it.
After buying every pass in horizon Chase, it makes the game great! Sure the ai decides to be ruthless and block you, but they won’t try doing it again only for the lap that started, giving you the advantage to pass. We also like that the game determines the car you’ll get after completing the world, depending on which type of car has been in 1st place the most. That’s very neat. There are no game crashes or problems with the game overall, and what was surprising to us is that this game has been getting updates since 2015 is crazy. The music is excellent as well as it gave us nostalgia back in the 90s; this is a 5/5 from us. Have a great day, developers; bless you, devs, for making this nostalgic game and constantly updating it.

This games is fun and its got good mechanics but to actually have to pay for the cool cars is a bit much. You guys should make it to where you earn car parts or something so it doesnt take to long to get a car but also its not to easy to get a car.
