UPDATE 2022: Still playing this entertaining game and enjoying it immensely! Its something great that the bridge will underneath arrive. LOL When we first started playing this game, we didn't quite think it was all that interesting. However, it quickly turned into a very interesting game — and a challenging one, too! The gameplay is very simple: you watch a sentence displayed on the screen one word at a time and then you have to find the same sentence from a list of six or seven choices. This game definitely tests your memory! Very recommended.
Great app. Will benefit from progressing by stages of difficulties ( short/medium/long sentences, slow/medium/fast speed).
How many times do we misread the printed page? This -hopefully- trains the reader to be more accurate in reading while reading fast.
Would give five stars if the sentences werent so funky. Theyll be like a farm will only bend the broom. Im cool with that but more as an FYI.

We would love this app if it didnt have two sometimes three right answers!!!! :(.
During the run through of about every 4 sentences, an ad plays over the top of it, leaving you clueless on how to answer the follow up question. Also, this is not a reading helper as much as a memory helper. You have to memorize every word on the screen in order to answer the follow up question. The words combine to make gibberish sentences, which doesnt help with the natural flow and structure of the English language. In summary: pass on this one, its a waste of space, time, and bandwidth.

This is not speed reading but temporarily memorizing a random string of words that have no logical meaning.
A wise man once said: A hall will tickle inside the notebook since an effect will pretend into the invention Oh, wait! No that was just one of the sentences found in this awful game. Here are some more: The old playground will deserve even though the goose will plug A trip damaged whether the ray belonged amid a space supposing the airport preached including the soup. A tough selfish clam will desert magically If you like this game, YOU are the problem.

A remarkable app, we wanted to find one such that will allow us to hone our speed-reading skills. It is also a lot of fun.
These sentences don't make sense. Does this make us smarter? You have the perfect opportunity to educate ppl while they are reading-speedily. Historic facts, social studies, psychology, math sentences. These kinds of sentences and more would be more challenging, and make ppl aware of what's out there, or at least remind them. That would make this game refreshing! We like this game except for the above, and the A and The technically correct, kinda pisses us off. There! Now give us our hints and let us be on our speed reading way.
You think you are a speed reader? Try this app and judge for yourself. Even at the beginner level, you will find it really challenging, and you will wonder what expert level will look like. 4 out of 5 because we have not tried all the sections of the app.
The name says it all, but in a good way! Highly addictive yet we still found time to set it down and continue on with our day. Although we didn't return to the game until after our daily routine, we couldn't stop thinking about it. It lingered through our thoughts like an assignment or project. We felt personally competitive with ourselves. We vowed to do better next time and even drank more water like an athlete. Once we did, we advanced on to the next round… And so began our obsession with sped reading. Thanks, GammaLateral :).
Great app if you want to progress through various levels of speed reading encountering ridiculous (even ungrammatical) sentences. In the beginning level of testing you will, for example, encounter this sentence: "The flag will watch aside from the dinosaur." It's purposefully a bit silly and is followed by a set of 8 multiple choice answers. You have to identify the exact matching sentence. So "A" flag fails, while "The" flag is accepted and you can progress. Yes, it flashes text to speed read and does so with numerous options. Well done. We just can't bear to read the ridiculous, wacky sentences. Too much emphasis on perfect recall of every single word than on the meaning of the sentence. This app doesn't train or test you on the 'meaning' of the sentences but, rather, your attention to detail in recalling generally meaningless sentences. Why not use famous quotes, capital cities through the world, dictionary passages, Bible quotes, etc.? To be clear, this app does what it does extremely well. We're looking for training to read faster 'with' solid understanding not perfect recall.
Great way to prove yoir reading speed. We like how it keeps challenging you as you go up in levels. It's entertaining too and doesn't feel like you're working.
Looks more like a memory game and less of enhancing your WPM.
There's no program to develop a skill here. It simply flashes nonsense phrases in front of you at increasing speed and then gives a multiple choice quiz. Then it makes you watch an animated ad before you can continue. That's it. :(.
This game is very fun! It does get boring after playing for a long time but then we pick up later and it still satisfies.

We're not sure about its long term playability because there doesn't seem to be a goal to work toward. But it's free, and we've never played anything like it before so it's definitely worth a try. The rest of this developer's games look like they are worth a second look too.
