Infinity Pinball Reviews

This game is really fun and has a great game boy/sega Genesis theme to it. The updates have improved the game so you can get the different skins and game boards. The gameplay is top notch, and the Rouge-like mechanic helps the game quite a bit, but it could do with some improvements. The bosses are very frustrating and you usually slip out of the playfield before you can get going, and when you do, you cant face off against the boss again. There is also an issue where often there are too many obstacles at the top of the screen, so if you could fix that, it would really help. So if you could fix those problems, all faults are forgiven and this game gets a five star. Keep on going Dadako!

Playing this on iPad Mini but the menus and table skin menus are off and not displayed correctly. Just started playing and am enjoying it so far.

We understand its complicated to work with the "dynamic island and or camera bars on newer iphones but can you make it go full screen or specialize it to work with the dynamic island? We know it may take away some of the themed elements but would be nice.

Lets talk about what we dont like: the flagpoles. They are tedious, annoying, and just get in the way. We want to play pinball, not flagpole ball. Another thing: some areas have cool stuff that we can barely interact with because Im flying into the next area too soon. Its kind of annoying to have to keep purposely dropping back down if we want to keep interacting with something, and even that wont work if its something that resets. Not sure what you could/should do about that Also, would be nice if electro balls disappeared when you hit them. They used to, but it seems like that was removed. In the event you change it back, to prevent eventual immortality by gaining lives and removing all electrodes, each life gained should take more points than the last. For example, 25k, then 30k, then 35k, (the actual scores would go 25k, 55k, 90k, 130k, etc) so its not too easy to have a ton of lives saved up. The numbers could be different, that was just an example. One last thing is, it feels kind of pointless/aimless to keep going up when stuff doesnt necessarily get better. This kind of ties back in to that thing we mentioned earlier, but sometimes its better to stay in one place than keep going. Kinda defeats the point of being an infinite pinball if you dont have much reason to keep climbing other than just because you can. Aside from that the style and everything is kind of neat, but we wish it was a bit easier to get the ball to go a certain direction by flippers, sometimes it seems it will only go a certain way regardless of the timing, and some things are impossible to hit normally even when theyre right in front of you. If you only take one thing from this review, please get rid of the flagpoles we hate them so much, they break the flow of the game so much and they just make it really boring and unfun imo.

A very fun game, but we keep getting into a situation where we gain lives faster than we run into the risk of losing them, so when we reach a point where Im struggling or when we need to close the app we have to quit out of the game and thus our new high score isnt saved. Also it feels like theres also a missing an inherent feeling of risk that gives you that adrenaline rush and feeling of accomplishment. We know this review is mainly us harping on this one bit of the game, but we do really enjoy it! We love that its a one time purchase and we dont have to worry about ads at all, its incredibly refreshing to see that nowadays. The aesthetics of the game are also extremely fun and we cant wait to play more!

When your bored infinity pinball when you Brock up with your girl friend infinity pinball what Im saying is they its realy good.

This is a very good game! But one time we were doing so good but we needed to do something. So we just left but we didnt get any rewards. You should probably add this so other people can get rewards after leaving.

We really enjoy the very Sega Genesis vibe this game gives off! The graphics are very cool and the gameplay is smooth and fun! Theres a small problem with this game though. We got a score of 608,000 on the retro wave theme, but we got stuck because we wanted to stop playing, but the statue that blocks the hole wouldnt disappear. After a little while we just decided to quit out of the game. Please make quitting the game save your score! We’ve seen that the developers are very responsive so we hope you can make it so quitting the game through the pause menu will save your score!!! Other than this issue the game is very fun.

The aesthetics in this game are truly great. At least the ones that are free that you dont have to buy. And the game play is very smooth when the functions work properly. Our two biggest gripes about this game are the random layouts of each new game, as some of these layouts cause bugs and other malfunctioning obstacles. And the constant penalties you may face when you advance to the next level. These penalties are the little bombs that take away your remaining hearts. These bombs make sense in the very first stage, but once youve advanced their frequency should be dialed down tenfold. And as you approach the boss, instead of being penalized for something out of your control, have the boss send something like a fire ball at your ball, which you have to block by using the paddles or the power ups/nearby obstacles. Overall a great game other than the pay walls for different aesthetics and the overpenalization.

-second review because we dont think the first went through- we really like the game the physics is good and it doesnt lag at all However there is some flaws the spawning of obstacles can cause some glitches for example we had a bumper to close to the wall and now the ball is stuck between the down slope of the wall and the bumper bouncing infinitely we wish there was some way to maybe to spend maybe a heart or points or coins to delete a bumper or move it or make it temporarily be passed through Just some way to prevent this.

Is it us? We have this distinct memory of playing video and computer games wherein we are enjoying myself. Im starting to suspect we have invented this memory, because this has done more than its fair share of work to disabuse us of that notion. It ought to be right up our alley. Except that from Minute One we’ve done nothing except curse under our breath, yell inarticulately, and repeatedly rap our phone against our own forehead as if knocking to see if any brains are home. Is this what fun is? Have we been misinformed? We assumed fun was when you smiled and laughed out loud and said things like yay, but maybe its actually when you vibrate with frustration so loudly your partner leaves the room and closes the door behind them. If this whole time, thats what fun has been, then you guys nailed it.

We were playing the game with a score of 469,000 points on lvl 90 but had to pause the game. Was on the green level with the floating head and paused with the ball in the shot put. When we tried to return to the game our ball had disappeared, and we had to restart our game because it wouldnt reappear.

Love the aesthetic, music, controls and physics. Unfortunately the screen size of the iPad mini cuts off words and instructions from the main menus so it’s making it hard to understand what to do and how to level up to different machines.

The ball got stuck on a level when we were on a roll! It got pinched between an element and the wall of the level.

We’ve found this game highly addicting, from the graphics, the ball physics feeling super real, the sounds, all that. However twice now we have had a score near 700,000 with 14 extra lives and well over an hour of gameplay in when the app crashes and our score is lost. Pretty devastating when you can see how high you could have been on the scoreboard. Hope this can be fixed.

You are missing a save game option.

Every Time we Hit Something our Ball Goes Straight Down The Hole Where we Cant Hit It With our Flippers.

We had trouble playing the first time because we couldnt rotate the screen and left a bad review. Developer reached out to us and asked if our screen lock was on. Yes. Yes it was. We are very sorry. Our issue is resolved and gameplay is way better. We appreciate being reached out to because we have been longing for 90s PC pinball games. This game can already do so much more than the old favorite pinball game of ours that we played. Thank you very much! We have changed the review to five stars in appreciation.

We love pinball games especially the N.E.S. One so when we played this it felt nostalgic. We also like the vaporware/outrun style. Overall best pinball game in our opinion.

Would rate 4.5 stars simply because of the fact you cant earn balls through coins but otherwise its a very fun game.

They really made a classic with this one.

This game is very simple yet fun and the best part about it YOU DONT GET ADDS EVERY SECOND its really nice that they arent just giving you add after add this game if very fun thats pretty much it.. Get the app and you’ll be 10% happier (i can not confirm nor deny if you will be 10% happier)

We love this game, so cute and fun and super easy to pick up and put down. It’s just what we were lookin for!

Awesome game thankfully you. Bring.

They only give you two balls. You have to pay real money for the rest of the balls. There should be an option to unlock them for free or with in game coins, not real money.

The game is good when you play it more at the start you just get mad and give up but if you start like really playing it it gets more fun on the way and really addictive.

A very fun game, but if the developer lowers the ads it would be Amazing.

Good game no ads and easy controls but in order to get more the 2 maps or balls you have play noney but luckily they do not affect the games function.

This game and its content is amazing Im surprised its free to play but we feel like you should be able to unlock stuff with your coins, we’ve been trying be best to save up but we cant find any use for them!

We were hoping for a cool pinball game with an awesome synthwave soundtrack because thats what they play at the main menu, but then you load in and it sounds like youre playing N64.

We like the aesthetic a lot and once you get a feel for the physics it works fine, but there are land mines scattered seemingly everywhere that automatically take away a ball. It is a gimmick that is clearly designed to encourage you to purchase more coins to continue playing, or watch an ad. What this ends up doing is it reduces the amount of time you end up playing, and really hampers the flow. What would be a better system, would be a having a counter that goes up every time you drop down a level, and every 3rd time you drop to a lower level, you lose a ball. This would increase the amount of time playing, and would actually encourage you to watch ads or buy coins to keep your score.

It’s very hard to play. No way to really see the flippers since your thumbs are in the way. Phone keeps slipping out of your hands since you can’t grasp the phone qnd work the flippers at the same time. Also, please leave off the god awful music at the start and let us opt to turn it on instead of forcing us to turn the screeching banshee-like sound off.

Ball disappeared in the middle of a 2 hr game in which we already had a top ten global high score with 10 balls left. In the same game the ball phased through walls 10+ times. Multiple other bugs, not the first time we’ve seen these and there was a recent update. Deleting app.

There’s a really bad input lag for us. We can never time where we want the ball to be hit, it always misses the mark.

On the App Store it literally states it will take your location information and other stuff. Its a pinball game so it obviously does not need it. The devs are just trying to steal our information to sell to other companies.

This game has really lousy pinball physics and an extremely annoying interface. The pinball games on our old Apple ][+ were a thousand times better than this!

If youre a sucker for good looking games with bad mechanics, this is for you.

Dis game literally trash our guy.

Pinball games are made for portrait mode. Why force the game into landscape mode, making the graphics super tiny and forcing the players hands into an unnatural grip where they have to stretch their thumbs out to hit the flippers? Struck the ball twice and uninstalled.

Thank goodness for Apples App Tracking Prevention why in the world would Infinity Pinball ask permission to track us across apps and the internet? Why would we need to ask a pinball game not to track us?
