Love the game. Love the jigsaw option. We complained about the type of ads we were seeing and it was changed.
We tried many apps, but this one is the easiest to use, and just the features we were looking for…well designed.
Always fun, Always Challenging, Always thought provoking, what more could you want from a game.
This game could be a little better if we could find a way to keep from getting errors when we fat finger numbers. Also if the hint function didnt just place a number in a square but rather told us to look at rows, columns or blocks.
We bought a no ads deal, long ago. At that time there was no discussion on time limit. Now same program, but horrid ads flashing. Broken promises.
Will change to 5 stars once we can pay to remove ads (hopefully a one-time purchase). Id also love a daily puzzle feature, but the app is already great without it.
Still the best sudoku app. But we would easily pay to get rid of adds. – With this update the add banner bar is bigger. This is disappointing. Still better than the rest… But can we please have a paid version. :( The bright white adds kill night mode.

This is the sudoku app Ive been looking for! There is so much about this we love! You can choose from the many options to make this 'just right' for you. It is intuitive and easy to use, and even offers a landscape option. An added bonus is the jigsaw sudoku. We havent seen it offered in the other apps, so we were pleasantly surprised to find it here. Ive tried a lot of versions of sudoku, and this is our new favorite.
The prompt response of this developer is rare and greatly appreciated! We wrote a review mentioning the pencil marks could not be seen in the darker jigsaw puzzles. The developer responded immediately and today, less than a week later, the game updated and the problem was fixed! This is the BEST sudoku app we have tried and the only one to offer the challenging jigsaw puzzles.
This version of Sudoku is our favorite. We have been playing it every day for several years, and each version gets better and better. We love the simplicity of the design, the clean look, and all the features it offers. In addition, the Jigsaw puzzle version is a really fun variant. Ive tried many other Sudoku apps and this one is the best. Highly recommended.
The earlier release had unreadable font colors on some backgrounds. It quickly became readable again in this new update. Thanks. It would still be nice to have a few choices of font color or contrast level. But thanks just the same.
No badges to collect, no coins to spend, no tournaments . Just a fun game.
Both the classic and the jigsaw version are enjoyable and challenging. Progress through the difficulty levels to build your skills. We don't have proof but believe it helps with rational thinking and problem solving.
Please come out w the ad free version ASAP. The ads are such a distraction. The ad tonight lite up with moving bands surrounding the ad & no way to stop the ad.
We especially love the Jigsaw Sudoku layout. It kicks our brain into high gear! The advertisements are easily ignored. The only thing that bugs us ever so slightly is that upon filling in the last number, the board instantly disappears to be replaced by confetti & a congrats. It may just be our quirky mind, but we like to view the finished board.
We like listening to music while we play and usually we can with no problem but sometimes it starts turning off our music and no matter how many times we try to put it back on as soon as the app opens it shuts it off again. Really good app besides that.
Had this happen twice now. Playing game. Suddenly, the app is putting out a loud alarm like a smoke alarm. Killed the app an the alarm stopped really not a good thing. What if that went off on a plane.
Ive never had the developer of an App answer our emails before. Just Sudoku answered us right away about an iPhone issue after an update and had it fixed pronto! Hats off to them.
Ive enjoyed this app for while now, so am letting others know it works well for Sudoku lovers.
The puzzle mode is quite unique and the creator is very responsive to questions and issues. We highly recommend it.
The playing board of this updated app is to large to fit on the iPhone and the outer rows cant be accessed. The lowest row is covered by ads and cant be accessed.

We don't like this new update still doesn't count the games or times at all. Change it back.
Nice game with options. However, since the latest update, the average solution time has been eliminated. Really miss that feature for competitive challenge.
Don't care for updates. The entire game cells are too small. To easy to select wrong number. As a result we no longer can reset statics. New look & options are ok except for size of game & stats reset button. Really enjoyed game prior to updates but now not so sure.
Update decreased the size of the playing grid and eliminated the grid lines. Sometimes simple is better and this is one of those times. Please go back to the old format.
We are not a fan of the redesign. Jigsaw puzzles had been our favorite but now the colors are darker and the numbers are lighter so we find it difficult to read. On the plus side, this redesign will cure our Sudoku addiction. We guess we should thank you.
After the latest update the ads are blocking the place where the numbers are so you cant see where the numbers are in order to play the game! Very frustrating.
Worst ever…no grid lines….go back to last version.
After playing this game every day for months they decided to upgrade it and completely ruined it. Erased our statistics and the numbers to touch are not on the screen so we dont even know how youre supposed to play it. How to go from five stars to zero in thirty seconds.
This game was great especially the puzzle mode which is our all time favorite. With the new update we were excited to see what they could have added yet we were to be sadly disappointed. The game cant be played because the ads at the bottom cover the numbers that have to be pushed to insert in each square. We tried changing the fonts and the font sizes. Didnt help. Please fix.
We used to love this game until a change was made today. Can't rotate the screen. No lines on the puzzle. And now way too small. Don't understand why you made the changes. We tossed it out after having it for years.
Cant see the whole game board, adds cover the number choices at the bottom of the page.
Yesterdays update added good features, but board is now larger than iPhone 7 screen. Puzzle edges are cut off and number bar is off screen. No way to resize make it unplayable.
This is exactly what an app should be. User-friendly to the extreme, no ads or constant in-app purchase baits, and with a sweet simple design.
Stumbled on jugsawduko 15 minutes ago & enjoyed it, so we went to the App Store to find one for our phone and found this one. We love it so much that we dont know how we can go back to regular sudoku. We deleted the other sudoku games from our phone. Still learning it, so we may have additional comment later.
We have been playing for a couple of years and we're pleased with this game. It has a good stats page and keeps track of time. It's highly addictive and we recommend it.
This cleanly presented app is a joy to play. We're senior in age so the clean, clear, adjustable fonts are very welcome in setting up the game board. The minimalist layout is a welcome benefit to our daily Sudoku games. We appreciate very much, the thought and the effort given by it author to this version of Sudoku! David, USA.

There are few ads which we all hate but the game is simple and fun.
Love the Jigsaw, it is the only game we play in Suduko. WoooooooHooooooo.
Doesn't keep stats for Jigsaw. Would be nice if numbers at the bottom disappeared when all nine are used. A little brighter colors would be nice too. Overall pretty fun.
This is a nice no-frills game with many options. It offers the jigsaw sudoku, which is our favorite. And maybe best of all, it's free and has no pop-up ads.
It's a no-frills sudoku game. We'd enjoy it more if there were either only one solution, or credit for alternate solutions. We're looking at a game now where we successfully finished the board, but we can't "win" until we come up with the solution the app is looking for.
There is no way to insert notes (several possible numbers in a square); or am we missing something.
Wonderful app, very relaxing, clean design….. Well, except all those noisy obnoxious ads that are always spinning, dancing and generally screaming for our attention at the bottom of the screen. Destroying any chance we may have had at relaxation. We would happily pay 3~5 dollars to have this game without ads but, as it stands, Im simply not going to spend any time with an app that is abusing our senses like this. Thus, 1 star for now. 5 stars if a remove ads option is added in.
We love(D) this game – so simple, easy breezy. Then more pop-up ads come up, the ads at the bottom flash and distract… We put up with it, had great stats, then it just started crashing! It usually crashes at the end of the game. Then the app closes, and they count it as a LOSS! We'd pay a buck or two for an ad-free, non-crashing version. We may check back to see if it gets fixed, but looks like for now we have to find a new Sudoku fix.
We tried several versions and this by far is the "best." The settings are easy to understand. Offers two types of game displays, makes you think. We enjoy playing Sudoku, keeps our old mind going. Lol.
