Need more than 200 stamina its like u have to wait a day to play the game if u cant buy any stamina after u run out it makes u disinterested after a couple days honestly.
Maybe the most forgiving, gracious gacha game released yet? The amount of resources they make available through free play is easily enough to get most characters even with infrequent play. The strategy of team building per event or fight is very entertaining to figure out and build to. Dont neglect the expedition mode! Very satisfying letting it build overnight and during the day, checking back in to find maxed out and ready to upgrade. The voice acting and writing for the stories is very good, we were surprised. As a big fan of the manga and the show, they really did a phenomenal job with this. The new characters deserve their own spinoff, very surprising how well theyre fleshed out.
As a KAIJU No 8 Fan! You must play this game! They offer so many free gifts, its easy to play, they even added a new character to compliment the game! The graphics and gameplay are amazing! This game does not disappoint! You can obtain various characters and weapons without even having to spend money, but of course there are in game purchases if you want to boost up really fast! Overall best game of 2025 in our opinion.
Fun at first and now has grown very stale.
As much as we love the game, Im disappointed in the fact that they dont have a login option for people to login like every other mobile game like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves. We deleted the game to have more space and came back to it but we were met with our account being lost.
Honestly the defense force pass needs some work. The thing has a 100 levels to it and only 50 contain actual rewards. And the rewards arent great, but it helps. We could use more rewards on the DFP.
This game is so cool in our opinion and we love how they add new characters ever few weeks and we love the graphics and visuals effects and also how we got really addicted to the game easily and how they pass out free rewards like candy which is another thing we love about this game. Also love how all characters designs look flawless and straight up perfect. But 10/10 game Ive played so faralso we love to glaze the kaiju no.8 franchise.
5* weapons are 1.2 times the summon of the characters. Im kinda tired of getting seeing a yellow flash and only getting weapons. Ive missed out on every character since Chester released, but we have everyones associated weapon. Also, there isnt any consistent way to get crystals outside of new events for players caught up on all new content. Being f2p and only being able to do an average of 3 summons per new banner is frustrating. The pity system is great for new players but, for players who cant summon as much due to lack of crystal resources means 1 pity exchange every 4 months going forward. Lastly, whats the point in the a customizable profile if there isnt any multiplayer or friend features.
So we enjoy playing this game a lot but our problem is that when you max out a level 5 signature weapon they still continuously give you that same weapon please fix things not right and waste of time resource/money.
Incredible game but files/data do not save after reinstalling the game. So why play or purchase at all. Please update.
Honestly the story we wish was part of the anime and love the new characters, but needs to change how equipment is made and needs a area like Honkai where you can just play your characters in a mode.
So far its fun. Simple gameplay and team building. Story is nice ( not sure where in the anime/manga this takes place Im only on ep 5 ourselves) but still enjoying game nonetheless.

This game is Hella amazing we are a huge fan of the anime Kaiju number 8. And Ill have to say everything about this game is freaking amazing. The animations are beautiful and if you are a huge fan of the anime, you should totally play this game its amazing and you wont regret it.
Edit- EXPEDITION IS UNPLAYABLE. One of the key concepts in exposition is tapping. Except doing that seems to make the game crash. Parts of exposition are difficult and timing is important. Good luck because youll get a loading bar at the bottom right every 10 seconds. We just had the game crash 3 times in 2 minutes. Fix it, this is ridiculous The graphics and gameplay are very enjoyable. However theres a pretty severe lack of content. Once you get to a certain point you have to use all your stamina on resources. And using the skip button is the best way to do this multiple times. The amount of resources and time needed to level up characters is excessive. Id like for them to find something for players far down the road can do. We have an extremely strong team and its like we never get to use them. And more importantly this game has been crashing non stop. It just happened twice in 6 minutes for us. At this point its just unplayable at times because its constantly restarting or crashing. As someone whos spent decent money on this game its extremely annoying.
Its a great game but it just lacks content, keeps releasing new characters but you have nothing to use them on.
But theres nothing to do besides wait around for another event or chapter to release. Even Expedition is fun until you beat it the first time. If they had simply made it longer or harder we wouldnt even be writing this. Also, acquiring Crystals is too slow. Not that theres much to use them on besides pulling dupes of characters.
Graphic are amazing but need more things to do and give more pulls!!! Also add more modes.
This game is awesome. The graphics are so good, and the gameplay really satisfying and the animations are incredible. The only negative thing so far is the lack of content. Ive been playing for just a week and we got most of the characters, finished all the main quests and memory quests, so the only thing left is the Combat Zone. (A game mode made of 15 levels, increasingly difficult, that gives you rewards upon completion and that resets each months) And all we have to do left is upgrade our characters enough to finish it but thats all we can do. Either this if y characters are strong enough, or wait till we build up enough energy to do the training quests to level up our characters and their weapon. But we hope its only temporary. The game just came out and besides the lack of content (which is normal since this game was just released), its peak. Im looking forward for future updates, this game has a lot of potential, we truly hope we wont be disappointed.

We love the game. We think its amazing. We just wish we could also buy ascensions for any 4 star characters through the shop. We wouldnt even mind if we could only buy the character 1 per month or something.

Can you guys make a small handgun for Kafka Hibino there is not a five star weapon handgun to draw out , so can you please add one and we really appreciate it thank your understanding, Im a new fan of this manga actually, but we watch anime all our life, we really love anime and manga, especially Kafka Hibino is so cool and funny our favorite character in anime so thanks for making the game to play on the phone thank you so much devs.
This is an amazing game in multiple ways, but there is a glaring issue that could hopefully be changed. This main issue Im having, is that you can only do 3 boss attempts per week. The reason Im referring to it as an issue is because of character skill progression. Three attempts isnt even enough to max out a full characters skills, much less your full team. Having to wait an entire week to increase your characters stats is annoying at this point.
The game is great all the characters are great but we think that KAIJU no. 9 and KAIJU no.15 should be playable characters but overall the game is good thank you for hearing us out for our part of our opinion.
We also want to add the games a complete money grab Ive played games similar to this and the rates story are better and please add stuff from the acual anime bc this just looks hilarious to see her use our her dads weapons wheres her mothers kaiju armor ? Games pretty good but when u got max level team and they add new characters theres barely any gameplay u can even to do draw without money only problem we have is this amd the rates of them arent that well but overall we still love the game and wish for better improvements more content to post but currently theres none bc u have the same team for over 2 weeks kinda boring to use the same content for people to watch.
The game is great and progression is fun and balanced but there is a lack of content and ways to get summon currency.
Its updated frequently and in line with the show aint ok bad rn you do get stuck once you finish all quest though.
We knew it would be another hero collector turn based game but we wasn't sure they were going to keep the animation quality of the show/trailers. We're glad to say they did, you can really tell the people who worked on this game were passionate about the project. The gameplay is fun and the core breaking/revealing feature is a nice new mechanic at least we haven't seen something like it in any mobile games we've played before. We wasn't sure if it was just going to be an arbitrary reason to buy characters seeing as you need characters of different elements and damage types meaning you'll need a well rounded roster. However they make it fairly easy to start up and get multiple units invested in quickly. So the animation is good the gameplay is fun let's talk about the elephant in the room it's a mobile game so there's the in game purchases The prices are refreshingly reasonable so many games release lately with $40+ packs that just get you huge advantages on release this game actually has many good packs for under $5. Buying or not buying them doesn't feel like it gives you any huge advantage we completed all chapters of the story and the side content without making a single purchase. Leveling up at a good pace and never felt like we had to spend to be able to keep playing. We did end up spending money on the game not because we have to because we want to see this game succeed. We're tired of seeing extremely pay to win games dominate the mobile game market with unreasonable prices with generic gameplay and minimal animations. The animation, gameplay, and monetization are all good here there's room for improvement for sure but we want to see it get there. Now that we've talked about the good let's talk about the areas that need improvement. Game needs a few more game modes and/or some form of community function, being able to form divisions/squadrons/guilds to build player communication and interaction. People need a good way to communicate with other players and keep each other interested. The game doesn't have a well rounded roster yet we think there's a total of 2 healers 1 fire unit and 1 wind unit and 2 ice units so far we are going to need more units of different roles and elements. The game is new so it's understandable there's not a massive roster of characters yet just an area for improvement moving forward. We think it would be a nice quality of life improvement to be able to upgrade your expedition characters outside of actually deploying them then trying to upgrade them as you manage/the battle and missions would be nice. Overall it's a good game with a lot of potential we hope to see it get even better.
We had been playing the game since day in and with this latest update the game would not fully update and let us play so we tried to redownload the game losing our progress completely.
Has very generous rates for characters on both linited and standard banners but the stamina economy is WAY too low to be able to farm up 2 full 4 man teams to be ready for current endgame content, there is also no friends list so your UID is useless outside of account recovery and there is no guilds of the the like so your profile is also VERY useless to even change or to display anything, the only Current way to even see others is through Raid battles and seeing other peoples dmg pop up , other then that it has a poor social aspect to it but a solid gacha system (for now) and a very low ok amount of things to do if youre not currently in the mid-end game stages of things. TL;DR Gacha System – 8/10 Social Aspect – Nonexistent Gameplay – 7.5/10 Farming/ Resources – 3/10 Stamina Cap – -10/10.

Good game love the art great late game potential the only problem we have encountered is the game not letting us claim our battle pass mission rewards if this could be fixed soon that would be great because the battle pass ends in 3 days.

Would give the game a 5 but it crashes at time mid game we play on iOS iPad easy game to play fun too so for its a 4 fo us.
Wish we can listen to podcasts or youtube videos in the back round as we play using our headphones.
No content to obtain new character. So now Ive spent way too much money on Sagan and after 20 multis all we have to show for are two copies of her shield and no Sagan. Not ok.
Graphics are pretty good. Thought the gameplay would be more open world interactive(mmorpg style). Completed the story modes in 2 days. Mission stamina requirements are too high. Early game difficulty too high. Players should have the option to equip elements to their weapons and gear instead of a only a few characters being preset with elements and all the others have none whatsoever. Not enough options for free players to earn summon tickets. Rewards are barely pedestrian. Im still looking forward to future updates with hopes the game will get better.
Hit box in expedition needs to be moved to the enemies head. Ranged units are useless because they get dropped before they can fire.
Just a cash grabbing pile of trash. New unit release every 1 or 2 weeks; which is more OP than the last Most of all, there has been NO CONTENT the last 2 weeks, ridiculous. Gameplay is nothing special. Expedition is a tad entertaining at first but gets boring fast! For those reasons, Im out.
We like how the gachas arent completely unfair its fairly easy to get five star characters, we got like 5/7 of the permanent five star characters in the first week and its a simple mobile game to play when youre bored.
We just think its fun just have fun if its not your cup of tea okay but we recommend this game.
At first we thought we would be an open world game, come to find out that its not it is a little disappointing at first but once you have played it its a great game AND it does not spoil the anime if you looking for your next unspoiled kaju 8 adventure !!! Just try it out and see.
