Dive into Karma. Incarnation 1.

This multi-award winning, wonderfully weird, puzzle-filled indie adventure game explores a love story between two beautiful souls through ingenious humour and a bizarre, hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation style.

Our hero’s beloved has been abducted by evil spirits, and the only way to reunite them is to reincarnate himself as a dragon to defeat Evil. But something has gone wrong, and his soul is reborn as a worm named Pip. Now Pip must overcome the challenges of a surreal world, solve mind bending puzzles, and save his love. Choosing between good and evil, Pip learns the laws of Karma, and his choices define the outcome of the game.

Features:

  • Play as Pip and explore a rich, bizarre world.
  • Use Astral sight, a power that allows you to peek into the world of spirits at any point of the game.
  • Learn Karma laws through choice and action. Each evil deed spoils Pip’s karma and changes his appearance. Good deeds purify karma. Key characters respond differently to Pip’s karma, opening additional storyline.
  • Hand-drawn animations of the varied interactions of Pip with his strange environment. The environment and other characters of the quests are drawn individually for each situation.
  • Live magical award winning music and sound by ZMEIRADUGA

Awards:

  • Intel Level Up contest: Best Art Design
  • Intel Level Up contest: Best Sound
  • Indie Game Cup: Best Story-telling game
  • Indie Game Cup: Best Unity game
  • DevGAMM: Excellence in Audio
  • DevGAMM: Excellence in Game Design

It’s a little confusing but great visuals.

You must plod through using your non verbal side of your mind. It is pleasing when you get results without quite knowing why. After a while it seems to make sense!

We have no idea what’s going on but we like it.

Intriguing and fun – following and directing the journey of a lovelorn alien.

Fun, different, beautiful, and trickier than you expect in the end. Our only feedback is to add the option to skip over the built in ‘dialogue’. Can’t wait for the next installment!

The best and most different game we have ever seen . Best effects Best musics Best ambient sounds Lovely game Realy good job.

Been playing this game a few days finished it 3-4 times for diffrent good/bad endings. But we feel theres more to this game we just cant figure out how to solve the other puzzles, we keep getting the same 2 endings. Everytime we end the game, its with a bunch of unused items, make us feel like the game is incomplete. Well Im going go keep playing until we can figure this out. Def a good buy if u like puzzle/platforms or anything similiar.

This game is awesome! Must play game!

The best game we’ve played in a long time.

Fun game, well worth the price!

Stunningly beautiful and weird unique nothing else like it.

We constantly am confused by what we are suppose to do but am surprised each time by every scene.

We’re really picky about games, and I’d say this one is decent. There’s no dialogue, which we like. And the graphics are great. It’s like a cross between Samarost and Badlands.

We get it, its puzzles wrapped up in a story but its not very clear what the goals are. That can be fun, but it can also be frustrating in a bad way.

The game makes no sense. Theres no logic to what it expects you to do. You basically just click around till it progresses. Theres no challenge.

On a 6th gen iPad, using iOS 12.2. With every single new puzzle, we have to quit/restart the game to get the game to function correctly. What a waste of money.

The more we play, the more Karma is earning a place up there with our favorite iOS games because of it’s quirky visuals and sound. The preview and description in the app store don’t steer you wrong. Some extra things to know: This is a super relaxed game/puzzler. We haven’t yet run into time constraints or anything that kills the character, as it inchworms along. This means even young kids can have fun exploring, but will need help with puzzles. If you’ve checked out and dig anything from Amanita Design, you’ll definitely like this. Hopefully "Incarnation 1" means there’s more to come. Thanks Other Kind Games! (Great job with programming too… No crashes or bugs experienced!)

We’ve been playing this game for a few hours now, and we still have no idea what’s going on. It shows you exactly what to do, so it seems like a small child could do it, but we’re not seeing anything more than the developers tugging you through a really pretty world by showing you where to tap. Also, is there a story here? Did we blink and miss something at the beginning? Is there some kind of tutorial that tells you what the objects you eat are and how to use them and why that accomplishes anything? And what’s the deal with that hourglass? On the plus side, the art is absolutely gorgeous. But that’s all we’re getting out of this.

We just played this game for about ten of the longest minutes of our life. We have no clue what it’s about and we don’t know what’s happening. It tells you what to do but you don’t know why you are doing it. Stupid!

Pretty pix do not a game make. If it was free we wouldn’t complain, but it wasn’t. So don’t bother. Feh.
