The game does lean more towards a story. Because of this id expect the idea to be more interesting but im completely lost in what its trying to say, so id say it failed as a story. In addition you have some, but a lot of your free will in the game is taken away (you're forced to follow the story). It just kinda ended and we wasnt entertained.. And we cant play it again… And im not seeing its message. We were considering just watching someone play it but we decided to buy it and not spoil it. Now we think we wouldve rather just watched someone. Ps its very repetitive and unpredictable.

Know that youre playing an indie game. Enjoyed every bit of it, had a great time.

Great game. It was a little expensive though. There are 34 levels. Each of them are about a minute or less. How do we know how many levels there are? After you finish it shows you a picture for each level and when you tap it you get teleported to that level. Kudos to you if you also found or find it. Here are a few things we would like to change. 1. More levels! We were hoping for maybe 50. 2.Too expensive maybe lower the price by a dollar or two. 3. Maybe give us a hint if we dont know what to do. It took us a while to figure out what to do on the level with the two lines of stampeding kids. 4. You should have a mode where you can change white to black and black to white. They had this mode in a game called hidden folks. Thank you for listening to our opinions. Dont listen to everyone who thinks this game is trash. P.s, the music is still ringing in our ears :).
We saw laurenzside play this game, so we figured eventually when we get a checking account we would buy this and we dont regret it much, the voice acting, the soundtrack, sound as well as the overall asthethic we had fun with this game, the only criticism is that we wish it had more levels and maybe more creative ones, Im not saying the ones we got arent creative tbh we found some of them very memorable and tell a story we just wish there was more, another thing we found annoying is the fact it picks you up where you left off we just feel like it ruins the experience dont get us wrong we like going back to levels while at the same time, we dont know how to explain it too well also we didnt get why this was 3 dollars sure it could of been worse and this is art dont get us wrong, but that dosent mean we dont love it, this was very memorable and we would definitely get into more of playables games if given the chance.
We literally beat this game in 15mins. Its the same puzzles over and over again. If we get a chance we will refund the game. On a positive note, the game has a cute art style and indie feel to it.
Deeply philosophical. Brilliant. Raised questions. Do we have free will or are we foolish sheep? If youre god, would you spare or punish. Tests the boundaries of our inner sainthood and sadistic desires.

It was short but we felt like the experience was worth the couple of dollars. Its a piece of interactive art to make you think. It does say in the description its only the 15-30 minutes so we think people just need to read.
We just finished playing and Its a good game but it can be slightly confusing. Its a good game and we could definitely get the theme of the app fast.
The other reviews are pretty much spot on. Its not really a game, but closer to an interactive experience. Probably the right term is kinda interesting tech demo. Its like a very polished version of something a student would come up with for a semester project in a game design course. Its very short as noted in other reviews (less than an hour, most of which is a rehash of roughly 5 different scenes). $3 isnt much and we wanted to check it out. We rarely regret spending $3 on a game, but we kinda do in this case. Im not sure why theyre even charging for something like this, its literally just a short tech demo. We hope they make a game of some sort in the future, maybe that would be cool. Dunno. Id save our money on this one though.

This game is a complete waste of 3 dollars all you do is watch these weird people do weird stuff and a lot of the scenes are reused multiple times and we have no idea why it costs this much, do NOT buy this game if you actually want entertainment.

Kids is the story of the people of Peer Pressure, and not going to lie, its a great experience and tells the story well, without words. Ignore everyone saying thats it lame and boring and short, this game has a nice style to it and even if its short, you can replay it, and make it feel like a movie or even to in inspire you if youre bored. The game feels like a Plug and Play two, but better. Heck, the government is funding it! See the credits.) To simply: This is an good game to play, worth $3 to support the makers, great game, epic art, and cool story. (also, shut up, this game LITERALLY SAY that its 10-30 mins or idk, we know you guys are acting smart but this is a abstract experience.).

What a ride. Delightful, weird, interesting albeit unsettling, but still awesome. Stretches the mental muscles a bit and made us laugh out loud on several occasions. Worth every penny.
Even if this game is a little longer its still not worth three dollars. But, we love this game so much and we want to make another one but we hope if they do make another one that they would take more time as much time as they need so they can make it super long and more interactive and maybe, just maybe, cost a little less. We dunno.

It took us MAYBE 5 minutes to go from start to finish. If you dislike game longevity, then this is for you. ( we gave this game 5 stars only so others could read this comment.) The game probably deserves more towards 2 stars, solely for creativity.

Kids is a rather Strange and Yet Strangely Addicting, Cause & Effect, Group Dynamic…The point of the Game is to determine the Cause that creates the sought after Effect… For Example, If You run to the Right, Everyone Runs Left, and if You run to the Left Everyone Runs to the Right…So, what is the point? Perhaps it is to make one man Jump, that then causes all the Men to Jump? Perhaps, it is to run to the Top instead of Right or Left? …Meh!, Who knows, certainly NOT Your cartoon self… You, just have to figure it out for Yourself.. … ……and thats always part of the fun of a puzzle, Right?…Figuring it out for Yourself.. …..Good Luck!…we Enjoyed the 1st run through, it was sort of calming, But we do not see ourselves playing this game again..so..we paid $2.99 for the privilege, Worth it?.. … …shrugs…Some will say, Yes!..and Some will say, No…but then, thats so much like Kids.
Its less of a game and more of an experience.
So we mostly understand the mechanics of the game go with the crowd or against it but we do have to say we dont get the part that looks like a stomach it really doesnt go with the flow of things another part we dont understand is in the black water? Why they start singing and also we dont get the clapping part we feel like it had no purpose.
Everyone stop saying that this game was too short and not worth its price. We can agree with you that its not worth $3 but it literally says that the game is 15-30 minutes long. If you didnt like the game because of how short it was you should have read the description first. Other than that it was an alright game. We see where the creators were doing with this has potential and very unique. Hopefully the creators update the game with a lot more things to do or make a kids 2.
Good idea, NOT WORTH THE MONEY, But it lacked the gameplay amount that you expect for the price. If you would quickly it's easily less than 20inutes. It's really designed around graphics and an idea. If you don't care ablut your money it's worth it. It is why it has 4 stars from us.
Dont get us wrong it was interesting, but this game was boring and way too short for your money. We didnt really understand its point and most of it repeated all to frequently which made the gameplay extremely boring.

The game felt mostly nonsensical (with some exceptions) and even a little gross. If certain levels were explained in the credits after the fact, then Id give it a higher rating. It is definitely not worth $3 as it seems like it took little effort to make.
We thought this was gonna be fun and we did like it, but it is frustrating and doesnt make sense. All you have to do is make people point at each other, dive into a hole, and swim? It is not worth 3$ but Id probably download another one of these if it is free.
Its a good game… But not for 2.99 . It should be free if you ask us. There are only a couple levels and isnt the most entertaining. We wouldnt recommend.
This could have been a really cool exploration of the indenting of community that kids share and looking at the problems that we adults cant seem to get right. There could be a billion levels for that. The idea, while intriguing doesnt go far enough in the world building aspect of why its here and why it happened. And to charge for this is a very strange choice. There is no pass because its art – this is actual money that people are spending and you know the rules of charging for an app. You could have made waaaay more money with in app purchases – because the kinetic experience is so cool – there are a million ways you could have played this – it could have been a newer version of pocket god. It also could be something that plays off of all the other games on the App Store – there was just a lot of missed opportunity and an over valuation of what this was.
This game took us 15 mins to complete but it looks pretty and is kinda satisfying. Wish it was longer, not worth $3.
The game has fluid and smooth animation and we can tell they put in a lot of work but it only lasts 15 mins and we dont think it is worth 3 dollars.
This felt like a good demo for a longer, more involved art piece about peer pressure and social dynamics. But as a complete project its short, shallow, and not especially memorable. Should have been free.
This game has a lot of potentials, but failed because of simple but repetitive yet short stages. The game is quite overpriced for only 10-15 min long.
There a a lot of games you can get hours of play time with. We literally played this in 10 mins and then kinda felt like we should get a refund.

We dont recommend this game. If it was free maybe but for $2.99 it gets boring easily. You do the same exact thing over and over. Theirs no point to it and its not even that good to be honest.

The Largest waist of money. If we had those three dollars back we would use them to sue the creator of this game for even thinking that this would be a good idea. We fully regret paying for this and embarrassed to admit we spend time playing this.
Okay look, the game, while the effects are very well executed and the game is very detailed, for 3 dollars it should take for than 10 minutes to play. And once you beat the game there is no point in playing again because there is no objective anymore, we wouldnt recommend.
Pointless and dull. We dont usually spend money on games, but we were hoping this would have some artistic value. We were thoroughly disappointed.
