This is our all time favorite Mobil game (kingdom rush in general). We love the strategy of the game and the heroes. The tower variants make the game super interesting. The fact that it goes deep into the fantasy world is awesome.
All heroes are good. The worst hero isnt even bad and can be used extremely well if played right. All towers are visually uniqe unlike any other towers in the entire franchise. The art is simple and down right beautiful. Whether youre a beginner or master to strategy games, this game has a challenge for you. Beautiful game. Beautiful series. Id pay 3x its original price for it.
Fun, addictive and great gameplay and music while also being cute and ostrategic but not too childish.
Played this years ago & rediscovered again recently. Hands down best tower defense game.
Visuals are a definite improvement, some of the towers and strategies are a bit old but still fun.
Reading some of the negative reviewsmade us reluctant on buying this one but we are glad we did anyways. It isnt as difficult as other reviewers have wrote and we didnt buy any power ups. In fact, maybe because this is our third game, but it was easier after getting used to new options and we didnt even look for online tips like we have a few times for previous installments. There are easter eggs such as red sacks and trees along paths that slow down enemies when pressed on. However, we will admit that the free magic power ups arent as obvious on what they do like in the other games ( the nuclear bomb was a no-brainer).
Happy to have paid for this game. We finished the Crystal sea map with 3 stars (normal mode) except for one spot. Is there a second map? Or is that the end of the game? (we know there is a harder mode). But are there no other maps with this one game.
Simple formula. Ironhide games are fun and challenging if thats what youre looking for.
Easiest of the franchise. Not sure why. The first and second are a lot more fun and challenging.
We like that there is new content in this game its cool that the meteors were replaced by lightning bolts and that each hero has a special ability it makes sense that the artillerys bombs were replaced with boulders because this takes place in a magic world of sorts because of the background.
This is a fun and challenging game and we enjoy it but we think they could add more like troops and stuff.
We really enjoy this series! Devs, PLEASE fix the barracks to actually block troops. It feels like a 50/50 if an enemy will be stopped or just walk right past them.
Good game but any ads just freeze and force you to quit the game and restart.
We love how there is a storyline behind every single mode, like how Veznan got his power, that he used to be good, etc.
We were hesitant to pay for the game, given that the original was free. But we are so happy we did! The lore is carried over in some fun ways, and the gameplay is familiar, yet fresh! This series is the best tower defense game out there, and once you have 100% on the first, its more than worth it to get this one.
We love all the kingdom rush games, have bought every single one, and all the buyable heroes. Im tired of having to rebuy them, as something gets reset or an update happens and they all need repurchased again. Not sure if this is shady business tactics, or an honest mistake thats happened multiple times. Im giving the game 3 stars because of this. Also, yes, we have tried the reset option for the heroes and still nothing.
The bar is raised so high by iron hide with all their amazing games, no other TD game or in general any other mobile game compares thier games. All you can do is replay thier amazing games over and over again and still have an amazing time. Everything is just perfect, the heroes the art style. We just cant wait for another one. Ive played every single iron hide game there is over and over again. We love them. We just hope IRONHIDE knows how much we love them for giving us these amazing games. They have so much passion for these games and its such a rare and beautiful thing. We love you Ironhide.
This game loves way too slow for a tower defense game. Levels drag on for extended periods of time as youre just sitting and waiting for enemies to plod through. Theres no option to speed up the game play either, so youre stuck. It makes the game boring. With so many tower defense options available on the App Store, you can definitely find better.
Great on the road no wifi or service time killer, even when you hqve wifi, its still good game to hqve and play.

As our title said, its absolutely one of our favorite games ever made, however – its time we get a new installment! Either new content, a new a KR entirely! And Im not taking about one wheres its a couple of heroes running around we mean classic KR or Origins or Vengeance or something! Anyways this review is for all the classic style KR games, each one is a joy to play and all we ask is to get our hands on a new one! Sincerely – a long time fan.
This TD is very unique.This is our first time playing and we love the gameplay.The levels are fun!On second level,All we put down is archers And gave them all boom arrows.It was amazing.It is a really well balanced game and we love it. We are only on the third level so we ask, do you get an actual archer troop? The game is a lot of fun. The towers being mixed up from sequel to sequel has been nice. The difficulty for Heroic and Iron challenges feels ramped up a bit more in Origins than the previous 2, which means we wont be spending as much time with Origins as we did on Frontiers and the original. If levels required less time to complete the playing and losing and playing and losing over and over would feel less like an unsatisfying grind. With the heroes that would make these levels easier locked behind paywalls, we suppose Heroic and Iron are pay to win this time around. The base levels are still a blast.
We started with the first game when the Kingdom Rush came out, which was great. It all was enjoyable, but transactions were there. For us, it seemed okay since we already made our decision on not making additional purchases. In a three dollar game like this though, spending money for heroes is not an every game thing. This especially goes for towers which are optional to purchase, which in some levels the game really gets aggressive, making gameplay worse than what we can explain. As of the time when the latest version Iron Marines came out, we hate the fact that when we were reading reviews. Not only the purchasing towers and heroes makes us disappointed, it also gives us thoughts on us not wanting to spend a penny just for entertainment. We saw multiple developer responses being written the exact way other people received, and that way of interacting also disappointed us more. Four squads, horrible heroes. This grabbed our attention. The first version of Iron Marines (which we purchased) wasted a ton of our time, ruining 65 percent of the entertainment, and the time the game actually really doesnt need to use. As of this game, we must say leveling up heroes took too much time. Graphics are great though, although some heroes (not the ones which can be purchased) were doing great on average, gameplay seemed well-balanced.
Just as good if not better than the original kingdom rush.
After the latest update, our game become blue screen when we open it. Our phone is IPhone5 ios10. Please fix it, please.
LOVE this game, obsessed, the gameplay in the new engine is cool, but the zoom and scrolling on iPhone is now very buggy. Please fix ASAP.
This version and the vengeance version no have the best towers and abilities. Great game, no ads. Dont need to buy anything to beat the game but it does help the gameplay if you decide to buy last the dragon hero.
Has a lot of potential bit some epic fails: 1) You have 4 defenders with air attack ability and they focus on the lesser threat as a simple enemy flies through the middle of the defenses really? 2) You purchase (with items earned in app) weapons and the enemies adapt to how much you purchased. Clearly they are trying to monetize the need for more. 3) You use a weapon and enemies exit the map as if you didnt use it – but you lose the weapon 4) No ability to increase game speed.
Very fun and plenty of different strategies can be used to win.
We love this game, we use to play it all the time when we were way younger, we came back to it after playing a tower defense game and wanted to try it out again, it was just how we remembered, a masterpiece, thank you for the great game.

We love this game, all elements of this game are great. The heros are really cool in this game and pretty powerful as well. We love all the towers which can be used for a good purposes depending on the enemies. The enemies in this game look cool but some can be very annoying to handle gloomy. The design of this game is super cool with a really pretty colors that give you the origins vibe. Anyway great game.

This game totally captures the feel for tower defense games.
We think it is better than the original Kingdom Rush. The artwork is better and the story line is good. The new abilities and hero upgrading while it makes it kind of confusing is still good when you get the hang of it. All around awesome game. From, us.

One of the better tower defense games Ive ever played. Towers are more balanced than most games.
We were really excited to play this game after playing the more recent game Vengeance but this game is lacking in comparison! The graphics arent as good of course but mainly we dislike how the game plays in comparison to the newest one, we would love a remaster! Or maybe drop another kingdom rush game lol.
This is a great game, what Id wish they do is have an endless level, where you can only use heroes, no towers, we think thatd be fun.

We managed to get this game for free and we honestly regret it. We wish we had paid for it. Ive gotten so many hours of enjoyment from Kingdom Rush, Frontier, and Origins. We just paid for Vengeance to satisfy our guilt. The games are really well drawn, a lot of fun, and filled with little jokes and Easter eggs. Origins is our favorite as far as gameplay and aesthetic. If you like a fun tower defense game, this is for you. Ads are very rare and are just for selling you the optional heros. Looking forward to more from Ironhide.
Game is very fun and challenging, like all the other games of kingdom rush. The game has amazing art and requires a lot of strategy to win and is not like any other game we played before.
Iron hide is great at what they do every game in this line is amazing and they continue to add updates making the game better and better we wish you could earn some of the in app purchase heroes if you unlock a certain amount of achievements or earn enough diamonds but other than that all of these games are amazing.
We love this game especially this version of KingdomRush! Please add more levels! Thank you.
We dont really leave reviews for stuff but this game here is so good we had to. They really knocked it out of the park with this and how everything comes together and the detail and artwork if we could give 10 stars we would.
