Magnus is the King of Chess. Nobody should say that the King is Elvis because its Magnus. Give us a break! How much more cool stuff can PlayMagnus do anyway?

It was okay just feel like we are not great and the controls are finicky.

Do you want to be our friend or not because we dont have a boyfriend or a boyfriend or a boyfriend or anything like that we dont have a girlfriend or anything like that we dont know what to do we dont know what we want to do we dont know what we wanna do we dont know what we should do we dont know what we need to do we dont know what we do we dont know what we do Im not doing what we want to do but we dont know what we want to do and we dont know what to do we dont know what to do we dont know what to q we dont know q we dont want to do what we want to do we dont know what to do we dont know what to do we dont know what to do.

We are in IM looking to get better and Magnus just helped a ton.

After getting passed the first could of worlds we found myself spending hours to get through one level. Puzzles got more and more intense, we found myself calculating while not trying to lose our knight in the storm! This game is truly a game changer for those who want to improve at chess. For those who never played chess. This reminds us of Mario in certain aspects. But with quite a knight twist Definitely would recommend this to all age groups.

First of all, be careful with your 1 week free trial. After we clicked the free trial button and Im given the opportunity to confirm and finalize the subscription, the app store states that it is ONLY A 3 DAY TRIAL. Not 1 week. The cut-scenes/animations are still too long in our opinion. The black knight capture animation is just not needed in our opinion. But its a very fun very good game. Just be care when utilizing your 1 week free trial.

You can not see all of the board at once. Offscreen pieces can capture you. The last level of the first zone is also too hard.

Paid for the lifetime Game pass but it doesnt do anything and we keep getting promoted to buy it again which again doesnt work.

Why are you blocking Syrian users ?

Fun way to practice moving the knight quickly!

Addicting gameplay, clean graphics.

Love so much we hope this game has A sequel.

Once you open it it, it will say that it costs 3 dollars a month but just click the top left x and play for free without the knight runner plus membership. We absolutely love this game because its fun and helps our chess game.

The game is great and we love the concept but after a while it does get repetitive but it is a good game to play in our free time and to get better at using the knights.

A creative way to get more familiar with knight movement.

We think the core idea behind this game is brilliant and has potential, but a few blunders were made in its execution that limited its success. The most egregious blunder is teaching chess rules. The type of person to download this game has already played chess before; we would be surprised if there was a single person learning chess rules via this game. So even having a default on tutorial wastes the users time, let alone a long unskippable one. This tutorial phase is so boring Id bet few people get through it. A much more compelling first impression would be starting with a real puzzle from the get-go, with no highlights. The second big blunder is the lack of a rating equivalent. Your audience is chess players; we love increasing some number indicative of our skill level. There is no such number in this game. Theres only scores for each level, which dont really reflect skill, just experience with that level. Theres nothing worth comparing with others, nothing to tie your ego to. We think the game would be much more compelling as an infinite procedurally generated runner that gets progressively harder. Something extra enticing would be a score system that resembles the elo system, complete with titles. Itd be handwavy but still compelling. Then theres smaller blunders: Making tiles non-square; we get why you did it, but it wasnt worth the sacrifice in pattern recognition carry-over from real chess. Portals add complexity without adding value Can get killed by off screen pieces we took the time to write this review because we feel like some genuine love was put into this game and it could be great.

Its fun to play, and uses chess moves and rules. We like how it is brought together! Give it a try, play for free.

If you know just a tiny bit about chess but want to learn more, this is a fun way to feed your chess hunger and build skills that will eventually help you master complete games.

Update: fantastic game, some of the animations could be sped up. The key graphic for instance when you get one. Some of the items which could be fixed are things like the we information blocks disappearing when youve restarted the same level 6 times in a row, and little things like that. Overall though great game. Our original review is as follows: When we launch this app it tries to sell some subscription but it has an odd white error box taking up half the screen. Then when we close out of the subscription area and try to look at the game it complains about our internet connection. Meanwhile Im posting this from our internet connection. :) Im happy to change the rating if this gets resolved.

Simply brilliant. If youre intimidated by knights this app gives you an extraordinary opportunity to become a knight maestro :) The game does get more difficult as you get further and further, but throughout the starting location you will be assisted, serving as a nice practice location. Give it a try!! Just a slight warning, this app is rather addicting.

We the chess king himself approve of this game. Its fun and addictive, coming from us is pretty a big deal.

Im really addicted! You dont need to be a chess player to enjoy this wickedly fun game.

You can play the game with iPod touch at the time. But it is sometimes ridiculously hard or impossible to progress because of the smaller screen. 1 star is for iPod version. Probably it works better with a larger screen.
