Kryss is the new, highly addictive game that lets two players test each other’s imagination and vocabulary.
The turn-based game is developed from the idea of transforming the traditional crossword solution – oldschool Scandinavian style – into a game where you compete against each other in the same crossword puzzle.
You receive five letters each turn, then strive to place the letters in the crossword within a minute. There are several ways of outscoring your opponent, including a significant bonuses for completing words, for getting key letters right or for using all your five letters within a round.
Then again: it might just pay off to keep one of the crucial letters for later use – when the stakes are higher.
Kryss has the element of randomly awarded letters in common with a classic game like Scrabble and other word games.
But Kryss is faster, and it offers a logic and gaming experience which makes it feel like no other passtime you ever engaged in. It is pure yoga for the brain, meditation for the mind, vocabulary training in a game, all the while being so easily accessible that it is loads of fun for both young and old.

We enjoy the game. We understand the need for ads. But the ads that require multiple and mysterious clicks to close them drive us away.
Love the concept and challenge of the game but often times we cannot watch video for 3 free boards. Sometimes a loud pitch noise happens when other apps are open too. However, we like the game enough we continue to play and would love to play with more of our friends.
This is a fun game to play against friends or foe. The most challenging part is trying to figure out what the pictures are sometimes. An entertaining way to keep your mind sharp.
It makes it hard to compete with friends when you only get 3 games a day. 5 family members play but we cant play with all in the same day. They also cant play with more than 3 of us. Perhaps There could be a way to earn an extra game if we win a game with over 20 pts. Anyway to get at least 4 games a day would allow us to play everyday with our regular friends .

This is one of our favorite games. The only issue is reading the clues at times can be a little difficult on the phone.

We like the game but we like to play for an hour or so when we have time. We dont have social media accounts so its hard to find someone to play against. We wind up returning to Words With Friends which lets us play for extended periods.
Great fun app to wake up your brain and great to be playing against live and real competitors. We have to say that the add ons are well priced and worth it to get the add free bundles. For the creators- we would recommend that you fix some of the statistics- we can see some of them never update specifically how many letters per turn.

Our favorite game of all time. Their customer service/communication is fabulous and timely. Theyre generous with their game boards if theres been an error. Our only issue is there are glitches here and there, particularly with the Fast Game (timing out, not connecting, etc.) Pretty sure the programmers speak British English and sometimes the words are tricky to figure out because most Americans havent heard them. There have been a few misspellings here and there. If youre looking for a new challenge, Kryss is SO fun!

We enjoy this game. One star down from 5 because of the words that are repeated too often.
Very fun to play but in quick play we often in there waiting for the opponent to play only to discover the game has frozen and if we dont shut it down and restart it several times then the game will time out.

The game is extremely fun however, its also extremely hard to acquire the tokens so that you can play other people and the tokens are required for you to play other people theres really not a lot of people that play the game because of the difficulty of receiving tokens that are required to play so you end up playing the same person multiple times if you do have multiple talking and then pretty much have to buy tokens just so that you can play different people. As fun as it may be, its just not worth it. You can however play the computer version and it will allow you to play back to back, but finding an actual person to play with is difficult and recommending anybody to play is even worse because of the amount of obstacles, you have to jump through just to play, but the game is self is wonderful thats what makes it worse.
