We were already a fan of Yuru Camp when we chose to download this game. The game definitely has its issues: the tutorial cannot be completed, camping can be a little confusing, and the check in feature being locked to Japan only is a bit of a letdown. However, despite these issues, this is a genuinely fun experience. Once you get ahold of the camping mechanics, it becomes quite fun, plus its well animated, and all the charm of the original anime and manga is preserved here. Plus, the gacha system is one of the better ones out there, making it much easier to acquire SR Costumes and Cards than other games of its kind would allow. All in all, we do recommend this game, and we hope more improvements are on the way to make this game even better.

We met so manny errors while playing, please fix them.
This game is amazing when it works. It reminds us a tiny bit of animal crossing but you dont have to put in as much work which we really like. The only downside is its constantly crashing like every 20 mins and we have a newer iPhone. Its also poorly translated here and there, some things dont even get translated. We cant view our collection without it crashing and every time it does crash, it resets the new tags. In the campsite even if the new item is placed it still shows up as new. Did we mention it crashes a lot. Camping takes like 30 mins and its not explained well partially because the translation. They definitely phoned some parts in though and its infuriating to see the potential this game has squandered for whatever reason(s). We hope this game will last but Im worried that because of this mess of a release pushed a lot of people away from a potentially great game and now its hindered instead. Get it together.
Im glad you fixed the bugs where user view the next chapter story, but we also experience some bugs where we decide to clear camp after 10+ minutes playing the game, we got kicked out. Im using ip13 and have not experience issues with any other games so we think this is not due to our phone capacity.
Currently, Im having a blast. It reminds us a lot of the Pocket AC game from a while ago, just Yuru Camp. There is some problems with optimization, but it seems the devs are ontop of it with constant updates with the most recent one adding a skip tutorial feature.
We like this game and how the devs are on top of fixing day one issues.
We love this game truly but after a cut scene we would be taken to a loading screen and no matter how long we wait it stays on the loading screen so we would have to close then reopen the game to continue the story.
While the games aesthetic is cute and fun, youre better off watching the anime. Thats all it is, its literally making you relive the anime and making you do Gacha pulls in the process. We cant do what we want when we want, and unfortunately our phones battery starts raising the white flag almost an hour in. Genshin Impact does a better job at ensuring your phone wont start cooking eggs almost right away, but boy does this game give you trouble. We played for literally a full hour before we got bored and said, Alright. Im just gonna boot up Crunchyroll.
Chill but so many translate issue and bugs.
Im loving the game but we cant finish the tutorial due to a glitch we take a photo as it tells us to and then save it as Im told to and afterwards it points to the middle of the picture telling us to tap it but nothing happens It continues to tell us to tap it and nothing happens.
Great game if you liked the show. Its relaxing to play and has a lot of the same music and voice actors.
We absolutely adore the game but every time once the games exits out from a cutscene the game will just be stuck on the white loading screen till we close and reopen the app. Its an enjoyable game but it does take us out of the moment every time.
Its too cute but glitchy we want to play all day but we keep having to restart when it gets stuck after every story progression also please make it stop saying kokodaiyo so much or let us turn that part off. Im so excited for this game and im playing it anyways !! Please fix.
Although the game is true to the anime is genuinely fun, every time after a cut scene theres a bug which will just keep you on the loading screen. The game then must be restarted to continue and it really bums the experience.
Im On the tutorial, every time we skip ahead the story,the loading screen doesnt progress to the next task. The games cute n we love it but pls fix this small issue.
Seen this on Facebook and thought it would be nice to have a nice chill and relaxing game. Cute looking series thats based around camping, love. Clean and great visuals. But after an episode we have to close and reopen the game because it just gets stuck on loading. Seen someone else with the same issue. Would love to play more but the loading screen is whats holding this game back.
App locks up (freezes) or crashes a lot. We havent even finished the tutorial yet and have experienced lock ups more than 10 times. Aside from that the app looks cute and the voice acting is very good. The story and characters seem interesting. Would like to be able to play but until these bugs get fixed, we dont think Ill be able to.
The game is fun to play around on and is soothing and the chibi characters are wonderfulhowever the guided tutorial or forced tutorial is really annoying because its slow and painstaking for people who just want to play things and figure it out for themselves we quit two times just because we were fed up with the tutorial and came back both times to finish it we have the attention span of a rodent at times so dealing with so much tutorial is just a bore.
Once you get into the swing of things, it can be pretty fun, but we do have some complaints: – The tutorial is very long, and it doesnt teach the gameplay loop very well. It took us a bit after it finished to really understand the camping sequences and how the other elements of the game tie into them. – The game crashes and hangs quite a bit, particularly on loading screens and on the Summer Gacha. We have to force close the app between story sections because of it. EDIT: Latest updates make the game buggier and even more prone to crashing. – The translation is spotty. Its understandable, but there are parts of the game left untranslated, some spots where certain phrases are translated incorrectly/are translated in a way that uses confusing phrasing (this is especially noticeable with camping skills), or translation notes left in that shouldnt be visible. It feels like a rushed machine translation, which is serviceable but not great. If there were some more polish and QC put into it, it wouldnt be an issue. Be warned that this is also a Gacha game. The monetization practices are inherently predatory and those that are prone to impulsively spending on Gacha (especially kids and teenagers) should stay away from it. That said, the game itself is still fine without participating in paid Gacha. After playing it a few days, it has failed to really grab us, though, so we probably wont play it longer than a week or two. Just watch the anime.
We might be able to give a proper review after we actually finish the tutorial. The tutorial does not have to be this long, and if it absolutely MUST be the at the very least dont lock players out of every other option on the screen so theyll be forced to press 1 button. We understand you want to make the tutorial run exactly as the anime did (we guess?) but you dont need to hold our hand through each and every step. Please just put down simple mission markers to gently urge us where to go next, not force us.
Hopes arent high for this, especially with the ridiculously long tutorial and the fact that the game seems to get stuck after every story cutscene. Honestly dont see this game lasting more than half a year before the servers are shut down.
The tutorial for this game is waaay too long. They force you to go through the whole thing and there isnt even an option to opt out just so you can learnt what game yourself. Its a cute game all in all, but the tutorial kills us man, its maddening.
Love the anime wanted to love the game it looks good but is so unplayable since after every cutscene you get stuck on a loading screen forever and have to restart the game to progress. Really annoying.. And it doesnt let you skip the tutorial either so we have no idea what the actual gameplay is, if its good or not bc it takes forever to progress due to this annoying bug. Please fix this asap.
After the episode animation, we had to refresh the app since it wasnt loading quickly. We have good internet connection so maybe it was a bug? The game is relaxing though. Very nice.
This game is adorable and you dont need to know anything about the manga or anime to enjoy this game. It tells you who the characters are and slowly eases you into the gameplay. The tutorial is a bit long, but its worth it, so be patient and learn about the game. (The tiny voice guiding you is so cute too we are in love.) Currently, there are some loading issues where we would be stuck on the loading screen, so Id close the app and reopen it and play it. Hopefully this is fixed soon, but it doesnt bother us much. The graphics are so good, and the characters are all voiced. If you enjoy cozy games and the camping vibe, you cant skip this one.

When we go to play the chapter story scene. It gets stuck loading and we have to restart the app to be able to continue. Other than that everything looks amazing.
We thought we submitted a review already but we guess it didnt go through so here it is again lol Pros: – Fun game mechanics (gacha system, camp activities,etc.) – Cute art style – Surprisingly high quality graphics Cons: – Loading screens after reading a chapter can a whole minute or longer – Wasnt able to connect our twitter (could be user error ngl) and when we went back to the game it froze – Tutorial was redundant but its not incredibly long.
We love the laid back camp anime. The game is fun and adorable with the chibi characters, however. It might just be our internet but. Everytime the game finishes a cutscene or a tutorial, we will be taken to a loading screen and no matter how long we wait the loading screen will just stay there. Until we close and reopen the game of course.
Id like to mention first and foremost the most annoying thing about this game: the comically long forced tutorial. We mean almost 10 game chapters of the game only allowing you to push the one button it wants you to push. No going off and learning on your own, no doing the fun stuff first, just this overly long tutorial. Thats not a good first introduction for a game. The bugs that happened during that extremely long tutorial (and usually require you to fully close and reopen the game to fix) did nothing to help the experience either. Menus not loading properly or with parts missing, infinite loading screens, and audio bugs also didnt serve to help either. Its a minor gripe compared to those other things, but the rate of collecting currency for the gacha. You get maybe 1/60th of a ten roll for completing big tasks. Thats absurd. At least add more options for obtaining gacha tickets if the rate for currency collection is going to be so low. Despite all of our negative thoughts on the game, Ill say the underlying premise is wonderful and has so much potential if the game itself can get polished up. Its exactly what it promises on the tin: its a Yuru Camp camping game/gacha that roughly follows the story of the anime and offers different variations of the characters through the gacha, both as character units and as support cards. The characters are adorable and the locations are incredibly atmospheric. If you can look past the aforementioned negatives, this game is absolutely worth downloading. We plan to stick with it and am very hopeful that itll be polished and improved moving forward.
This game is super cute and adorable, but it has this super annoying issue, where Im playing a specific chapter, and the loading screen gets stuck, the game crashes and we never even get to continue playing the game. Please fix this issue.
The story scenes are cute, as you just get to rewatch bits of the anime. But whenever these little storyline episodes would end, we would be on the tent loading screen for a bit, longer than you would hope. We would have to exit the app and then it would progress a bit of a shame since it is so cute.
We found the game to be very cute with its animations. However, the game stops and glitches every single time a story plays which makes it difficult to continue it. Please fix this patch.
We want to love this game but there are currently too many bugs. Which is a shame cuz we love the anime. Theres a major bug after you complete a chapter you get stuck on a white screen with a mountain shaped tent on it and no matter how long we waited it never got passed it, so we had to close the app and open it again. The next chapter we completed did the same thing. Its not game breaking but it is annoying and it takes away from the immersion. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Other minor gripe is the name of the app on our phone is in Japanese, instead of its English name.
Honestly lags, crashes, makes phone crazy hot. But overall, not what we expected. Game is not for us sadly :( Im just going to stick with the anime.
Restarting the game is faster you will be stuck on every loading screen.
This game is sooooo glitchy. Any time the game makes us quick restart the story and then tries to throw us back into our camp it wont load. We have to restart the app every time. Tutorial is also tedious and boring.
Love the anime and the game is cute, but within 10 minutes of playing we had two freezes where we had to close the app and restart. Infinite loading screens, etc. Im sure in time itll get polished up, but 2 stars for now.
