Lanota – Music game with story Reviews

Two suggestions: – Please add a reverse sort order. – Please explain what this new starlight score is.

We have purchased music packages on our Android phone, but we are willing to pay for them in iOS store again. The game contains the most impressive beatmap we have ever seen, and the music is wonderful as well.

Its good but flick notes are the downsides for us and having a massive amount of songs locked behind a paywall is a turn off for us but the gameplay is pretty good and the charts are good.

Whenever we attempt to load our account it just crashes.

This game is super fun and unique. If you like Wacca, youll like this game.

We dont know whats happening, but as soon as we opened up our game, there was a man crying for help over the in-game music. We tried restarting the app, but when we got back in, there was a womans voice instead. We dont know whats going on, but if you could get someone to look into it, it would be greatly appreciated.

We love this game. Its our favorite game to play and its very enjoyable! However, we would like a favorite system? Specifically for the subscription chapter infinity, but maybe throughout the entire game. Its not easy to find songs you like unless you know how far down you have to scroll to find them. We would love to be able to favorite songs and to be able to sort them by songs you favorited.

We really enjoyed this game all the way back in 2017, and we remember how fun and challenging it was! Though, since we’ve switched to IOS from our android, all our payments for this game is lost, and we tried linking the same accounts. Which we did successfully, however the data wasnt there with our payments, just our progress in the story. Could you please help us retrieve our purchases back?

Bad story Bad songs Have to play a song to progress Too easy Gimmicky but not in a good way we may be harsh but theres so many good rhythm games out there. You dont have to play this. Go play Cytus 2 or Dynamix.

We were trying to starting grinding through the event just for the game to kick us out when we started the song and take away our starlight score. You do not deserve 5 stars until you fix your game. This is so frustrating.

Im not one to write detailed reviews; the levels are nice, the easy difficulties are beginner friendly, and the hard levels and challenging in a good way, we think its cool how you have to tap the notes in a circle. The story is nice to follow too. We havent gotten very far in this game nor am we rhythm game pro, but overall we like it.

We wish this game was just the rhythm game because the story is so awful. We cant read a single line without cringing Still, the actual game is interesting since there is no other rhythm game formatted this way!

This game has the best gameplay! Hopefully the main story will likely continue and add more cool songs to it.

We played this game on our android device and we were so addicted to it and it was the first rhythm game we fell in love with! Im happily to say we’ve switched to our new iPad Pro and Noxy Games is still on the roll!

We’ve played this game since Chapter 5 came out, so a good couple of years. We dumped a fair amount of money in this game, the subscription, a couple of packs, the whole usual consumer thing. Recently they started doing the events thing with locked songs and event songs, etc. And we though, might as well give it a go, see how things are. And we’ve come to find out that the two featured sonfs #1f1e33 – Camellia, and Aegleseeker – Silentroom vs. Frums. Are not only locked behind a paywall thats 4 dollars, the challenge song is nigh impossible to get without spending money on it. We expected better from Noxy, we felt they were doing better with chapter 6 and 7, but this is very predatory, we spent 3 and a half hours doing 15 tiles worth of challenge and 15 missions to unlock Aegleseeker, and it was STILL locked behind a paywall. Thats like 45 songs we had to play to get there. And for what, 4 dollars for two songs? Not worth it. Theyre very greedy and youre better off playing other rhythm games.

Such a great game the music is great the mechanics are great the way it functions is awesome the menus are nice it has a great theme we wish we could give 6 stars because its amazing. The story is beautiful and its worth the 1.99 100% unless you dont like Ruth games but otherwise this is one of the best rhythm games on the market.

We are in LOVE with this game, first of all. The design is great, the gameplay is awesome, and its just a great game all around. However, we would like to add themes to the game as well as make charts and publish them online, just like Geometry Dash.

Huge track list with an amazing variety of song genres, no mobile game fluff (like stamina, tedious unlock methods, etc), all with a unique and pleasing aesthetic for a rhythm game. What more could you ask for?

Just started and we can say that worth the money for this hidden gem(actually cheap for the awesome content of the game). Love the sound tracks and appreciate the beautiful art.

Loved this game it helps us to memorize thing longer thanks lanota.

For some reason the loading times have been viciously long and its really annoying to sit through 3 minutes to play a 3 minute song.

The circle of notes is round and round and dont stop.

We were addicted to cytus before but now Im addicted to lanota and have deleted all 3 cytus games! Give it a try!

Not a single flaw in this game!

One of the best rhythm games we played!!!

Amazing song choice. Gameplay is fun and really well mapped even the really easy levels are fun to play.

One of the best mobile rhythm games we have played.

The game is beautifully illustrated and game play is well thought out with a few unique twist than other ring based rhythm games. Ultra and master lvls are challenging without feeling impossible. The story is simple, but cute if that sort of thing interest you. We love the mix of Celtic, EDM, and Dubstep. Though we think the initial 3 chapters has a few too many slower to our liking, but we get why they choose such a playlist to start. Great value for the number for songs included with the price tag. The map/menu/UX could use a little tweaking in our opinion. For like a day and a half we were upset that $2 only gave us 4 songs and they were pressuring us for expansions $4 each (5 songs each). Once we figured out the chapter/map thing we found there were a number of songs just waiting for our tap-itchy fingers. If a map is cleared and the next is unlocked just give us a button on the main map to go to the next area instead of backing out to the book menu > map > and then selecting a chapter. Also an option to view all unlocked songs to select and play would be nice, other than using the menu to select a chapter then selecting a song.

Im not sure if it supports or not. Whenever we try hitting the bottom it just brings us to home screen.

It’s good, but we don’t think the notes that you flick up or down are intuitive in their timing.

Absolutely love this game. Sat down at work to play this game. We 100% believe this is one of the best rhythm games we’ve ever played. Thanks for all your hard work and can’t wait for the rest of the story.

We have personally played many music games before this but we have never enjoyed them as much as this one. There is a nice little visual novel aspect to it as well as the gameplay and to top it off all of the music in the game is amazing. One thing we would love to see in this game would be some sort of way to create custom songs/levels and be able to play other’s in the community.

Like the title said. We can’t believe there is a game that can compete Deemo.

Trust us… Get it immediately.

This is one of the most fun rhythm games we’ve played so far, and the tracks are amazing to say the least. The way the charts are set up and move make us feel like some sort of wizard. We definitely feel this game is too underrated for what it’s worth. Can’t wait for more updates!

The game is pretty different from most music games we played and it provides a very active playing field from moving it to rotating. Overall a pretty fun game.

Oh our GOODNESS! This new update came with amazing songs! The songs are getting longer, more unique play style, and so much more! Also, we never noticed how detailed the notes are until we played master difficulty for Song for Sprites! Good job guys!

Unique gameplay, great soundtracks, amazing story!

First off, good gimmick in the game, the story is awesome, song selection is amazing, especially on this 3rd story chapter, and it has pretty nice difficulty scaling, until you go ultra to master on cyanime… Overall love it, great job!

Bought this game on a whim, and we have NO REGRETS at all. It was the colorful illustrations and interesting story that drew us to this game. However, after playing this game, we realized that this is more than any ordinary rhythm game. The gameplay is unique and fresh; the story development intriguing. This game never fails to surprise us with its range of lovely music and thrilling effects. If you liked Deemo or Cytus, this is your kind of game! This rhythm game doesn’t particularly focus on accuracy like Voez, but rather on keeping up with the new, fun game style. Play it, because it is definitely worth trying out! We absolutely LOVE the new songs and content that came with the update. As usual, the effects during the gameplay really caught our interest yet again. Can’t wait for the next update!!!

This game is one of the best that we’ve ever played to date. It has a compelling story, unique gameplay, & a challenge system that gives it tons of replay value. We just have two small issues: One, on Hall of Mirrors, the Master difficulty’s song cuts out a little early at the end, but it doesn’t do this on the other difficulties. Two, before the current update, the sound effect that it made when you hit the notes would overlap each other, but now, when you hit notes close together, you only hear the latest one’s sound effect, even if the previous one’s sound isn’t finished yet. This was very apparent in songs with many notes close together, like Frey’s Philosophy & ZENITHALIZE. We loved listening to the sounds as they overlapped, but now, we turned the SFX volume way down. We honestly really hope you change this back. It was one of our favorite parts.

This is a really fun rhythm game with an interesting story! Definitely worth your time!

Great story with awesome music!! We recommend this game to anyone interested in rhythm game because the game itself is not that difficult compare to other rhythm games out there.

This game has kept us entertained for hours on end. It’s got everything, beautiful visuals, engaging and heart-pounding gameplay, a varied yet masterfully satisfying soundtrack, a low skill floor for kids or those new to the genre, and a very high skill ceiling for us seasoned rhythm game players. If you have even a passing interest in rhythm games, you owe it to yourself to get Lanota.

We like the game so far. Sounds are good and the game mechanics are fun.
