Queen Sahara: I wholeheartedly agree with you that the ‘Muse Verification’ event in Last Fortress raises several concerning issues. Discrimination and security risks are major concerns indeed. Not to mention the invasion of personal space.
Rewarding female players for submitting selfie pictures to prove their gender feels unfair. I’m also deeply concerned about the mandatory terms that must be agreed upon before submitting a picture, which seemingly grants Last Fortress full rights to use the pictures without any restrictions and without compensation. This is a serious problem, especially considering that the game is targeted towards teenagers.
You’ve done an excellent job in making this video to express the Last Fortress community’s disapproval of such events. Transparency and explanations from the developers are crucial to ensure that players are not left confused and uncomfortable. I hope this video serves as a wake-up call to the developers and reflects our community’s stance.

Michael Rohrs: Let’s take a spin on it I bet dollars to donuts that there would be even more out crys if it was they wanted a specific race even if it was for a "good" intention to show to show that this group of people are playing and to try and get more to join. I put good in " " because it’s really only good for developers since more players more chances that they will spend money. But anything like this should be open to everyone or have a spot for females and a spot for males running together.

Michael Rohrs: 2 things there option not to pick gender what I picked and second it only says to switch your gender to female to me that implies doesn’t matter what it is followed all instructions to letter sent a Selfie of myself male and they rejected it not right gender. And my final thoughts are I agree 100% with you on risks but should had done it for everyone how is it fair that females get bonuses but males don’t it’s 2023 thought we were supposed to be going in direction of gender (or I’m general) equality, may not be there yet but gap was closing things like this only set things back, in my opinion

777SilverPhoenix777: As a female I considered the event silly/stupid. I wasn’t planning to do it just because it required too much reading and too many steps for a silly prize. however some people enjoy that kind a stuff so I wasn’t bothered by it. I was actually interested in seeing is male version was made AFTER the female one finished. we know the servers have cache issues given all the mail and chat issues lately. so having only one event going requiring image uploads didn’t surprise me. guess we will never know now though we did get a survey immediately after it was removed. 😂
Side note on the Teen rating. The ESRB adds those ratings not the Devs, I’d argue that in game transactions of any kind deserve an M rating but that’s just me. Teens are not their target demographic, Teens don’t have the amount of disposable income that the devs want us to spend. there could be some free players in that demographic but more are 18 or older that I have encountered, no children.
