This game has way too much going on and goes in too many directions. Its like 20 little games wrapped up in the main game. The developers need to stay focused on what the game is really supposed to be about. If you want to spend 10 hours a day on this game, then its for you.
Its very good quality and good so pls keep up the hard work with updates and stuff we rate games a lot so please dont go dead even if u lowered TRY YOUR BEST AND NEVER GIVE UP.
Overall good gameplay. Variety of gameplay. Good feedback from devs. Devs are a bit greedy and game escalated out of control so we quit. If they got back to the core of the game, it would be an excellent game.
Been playing much too long, years and years the gme is definitely dying. The advent of pay-to-play heroes, buffs, etc in overdrive has been what has klled it. Who will hold the last shelter the over-the-top spenders, or the free-to-play people like us? We loved the game when a person had a chance to win just based on skill now its all money money money. Sad.
The game will not load. Ive been playing for years and its been all day and it still wont load.
The game is entertaining and we appreciate how we wasnt getting ads shoved in our face every 10 seconds, but the big problem for us is the sheer size of the game. We only played it for about 30 min, and it somehow had taken up 3.8 GBs by that time.which is a ton of space for a game. For reference, we play Bitlife a lot and have tons of save data on therethat only takes up 2 GB. Not sure if that is a fixable issue, and perhaps our phone is slightly outdated to run the game. Give it a go! If it runs well on your phone, good for you! You will enjoy the game. We however had to delete it sadly, although we enjoyed the gameplay we experienced! Pretty close to the ad gameplay on Instagram we saw.
This game first comes off as a game you need to spend money on, and sure – no good games are free. Everything needs some kind of investment order to truly develop, but then it becomes fluid and efficient. In the beginning it also seems like there is just random things, random tasks, but once you start paying attention to experienced players, learn what to do where, get into doomsday, join guilds, upgrade your base, build farm bases its phenomenal. The only thing we want from the developers is that they let us use any SP medal for any SP hero Other then that. Great value, great game.
The best game if you love shooting survivor and stuff like that this is the game we play all day and this is a 5 star game developer and people who put detail and. Everyone thank you for making this game and keep up the great work and have a good and blessing day today.
Been playing the game for a while and we still like it but dont understand. Why show fake previews? Look we wish the game was like the preview because we like games like that. Swarm of zombies and you touch the plus 2 or times two and you get more power. However game isnt like that. Again we like the game and put our own money into it but the fake previews in the games app is very annoying. Also can there be something else to get titanium resources? Thats the one material where we would like to have something to make us more of it. Game is still fun that just disappointed.

Honestly, the game WAS good but ever since the devs are money hungry they made the game a (ptw) Pay to win, and with this its made the game really hard for normal players to even keep up in the first place. Outside from that once you get to a certain point in the game if you havent spent on certain item or Heros. There will always be a huge power gap that will be utterly impossible to close unless u spend hundreds of dollars to do so. And having power is meaningless when other players pay for Heros way stronger than you. And even when they do provide a way to get that hero the amount of rss to even unlock there skills are even crazier making is meaningless to have it in the first place.
Do not play this game if you are looking to be a casual player with a chance at being strong. You will need to spend hundreds of dollars to be remotely competitive, thousands if you want to be a top player. Game has a ton of bugs and lags all the time. Customer service is a joke and every response is some canned nonsense that doesnt address the issue. The SP heroes are needed but are behind a pay wall to obtain. To even think about maxing one you will need $500 or more. Needing 33 copies when all opportunities to obtain them require your wallet is laughable. To make matters worse, they are completely overpowered in the early game and ruin any chance of being competitive should you not spend. Almost all events require strength so those that spend get the best rewards while those that dont get further behind. Base cosmetics will run you about $300 or more each time so dont waste your time purchasing the $5 packs thinking you have a shot. You will need to develop multiple bases to keep up with resources. There are many farm sellers out there but a lot seem to be scammers and thieves. It always feels like a back alley deal with a 50/50 chance of being legit. Different countries get different prices for in-game packages so some shady seller is always offering 20% off packs. Would be nice if they made pricing equal for all so these types of deals would go away. Overall, the game would be fun if it didnt feel like the developers were only trying to get all of your money. The value just isnt there.
Have played for a long time but ready to give it up. They keep adding more events and offers to the main screen and theres so much you can hardly see the actual game itself. You try to click one thing and instead an offer pops up because everything is crammed onto the main screen. Make it a sub menu ; if we want to buy something we know where the store is already.
The game is a lot of fun and very addictive. It is not what is shown on previews. Not one single preview as shown has ever appeared in the game. Dont know why they do not show actual gameplay footage.
Been playing for a number of years and the review is a caution. This is a complex wargame with minimum strategy – you either have the current winning heroes / perks or you dont. If you like building things and really dont care about winning it is a complex world with loads of innovation, but again Pay to Win is a requirement not an option. The zombie premise is loosely concocted and every once in a while the developers do something to tie back into the story line and anything else that they think they can sell.
We like it because of its strategy and information.
(updated, 3-06-25) The gameplay STILL is absolutely NOTHING like you see depicted in these renderings belowAT ALL. And youre not fighting off zombies in as much as youre fighting off other players like you, with a compound full of resources you need to manage, which becomes challenging when you dont come outta pocket to play, or stay at this daily (which you wont if you dont invest some loot into this to some degree). Im in one state with nine camps (two main, seven farms). Thats the draw for us. If only there were a way for the game to notify you when your alliance sets a rally, just like it does when you can get a free recruit for a hero to lead your armies, or when an enemy approaches your camp without a shield, that would be cool. But gameplay itself aint very exciting. If you can get past that, and the whole pay-to-play premise, this serves as well as any idle tapper out here. Good luck.
We found a whole new level of respect with developers. They deal with unfair judgement and accusations from people who enjoy the games that they labor to bring us. Ive accused these guys of stealing and they still treat us with respect. Now the game is fun! Especially if playing with friends.
We love the game. Ive been playing for a long while and we have 5 bases in 2 different states. The 1 major complaint that we have is in the state of our Smaller bases, Pirates are rampant and the Non Aggression Pact is laughable to the Pirates. Pirates are people who steal Resources or RSS. Most Pirates are larger bases attacking smaller bases. The only hope a smaller base has is to hide under the bubble shield 24/7/365 or use missiles as Offensive and Defensive weapons. Troop to Troop combat is a No win situation against much larger bases. Unfortunately the game is set so that smaller bases cannot missile attack larger bases. A FAIR rule would be any base can missile any other bases. Regardless of size. Thats what missile defense systems are for. If you dont have missile defenseyou should be able to get hit. Regardless of size. Very simple and common sense. We couldve hit the Pirates with a Freeze missile to slow them down and some Gas missiles to hurt the Troopsbut their bases were 35 and our base is 28. So therefore we cant missile attack them but they can do as they please to us and then off to steal some more. Forcing us to live under the bubble shield. Horrible rule Programmers. Horrible, Horrible, Terrible rule we still love the game thought. Fix that Horrible rule and keep up the Great work.
We always saw it with any of the other ads, but decided to try it out. We actually really like it. Ive been playing for the past couple of hours.
This is an amazing game with never ending upgrades, always a new event to play and it never gets old. Ive been playing nearly a year and a half. Lots of people will say pay to play however that is not the case, everyone in your alliance is just as important as the next person. You can still have endless fun paying zero as well as spending as much as you want. There are plenty of paths to follow and roles for bases of every level of power during the seemingly never ending events. Its a team game, the strongest base in existence cant win by itself. You will meet tons of amazing people from all over the world. We couldnt recommend this game more. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Like the game but the app crashes a lot had to start over and lost all of our progress this past time it crashed.
After playing for some time. There is a server error and all progress is lost. Good thing we didnt spend any money as it seems that would have been lost too.
Ive been playing this game for 5 years. We test and rate games to see if there adds are real compared to the game itself. Also to see if there service staff even cares. This is a game that if you want to move up you do need to spend real money. Their customer service is horrible! Thats why Im warning players.
Its sort of a chalange but a fun for people who love those kind of things.
This game has more glitches than any game Ive ever owned and Ive been a gamer for 35 years so thats saying something.

Im usually not on games like this, but Im hooked from just trying it out.
Dont pay money in this game. The game is set up so that someone can attack you multiple times. They take all of your resources and you can do nothing about it. There is no limit on how weak someone has to be that you can attack, you do have a level limit, no limits on number of attacks. They want you to spend money to the better players can benefit from it. Every other quality game has limits – clash of clans, boom beach, Star Wars, Star Trek voyages, contest of champions.
Today, we attempted to log into the game. We were immediately routed to the upgrade via the AppStore. The upgrade failed because of lack of space on our iPad. Upon review, Last Shelter is taking up over 7.2GB of storage! Our next largest app is 290mb. Im not stuck – unable to log in until we upgrade. Unable to upgrade due to the humongous size of this app on a mobile device.
Great game additive, fun, makes you think. Im one of the weakest players in our state, but dont get bullied because its a game of strategy. Play smart, have fun and get stronger. We love our state 1421 and everyone in it. They are our second family.

Terrible game to invest your time into. At first it seemed interesting and fun building your city, but at some point it becomes open season on your base and other players can attack you relentlessly and there is nothing you can do. They drain your resources so you cant ever upgrade. Ive even paid multiple times for bonuses and resources with no help. Today alone Ive been attacked 8 times!! The developers dont care about the hours you put into it, they just hope you pay them lots of money so you can keep up. We would look at other games.
This game is somewhat good, but lack some rules and regulations dont understand how someone can spend their money on this game, but will constantly get attacked and bullied and everything they pay get destroyed. There should be some type of rules when youre not playing so your base cannot get attack so you dont lose any of your rss also takes forever just to rank up. Meanwhile, youre getting attacked and losing resources. That way you can spend more money on this game.

This game is a lot of fun if you have the money, but it never ends. You have to spend forever. As soon as you max your base they come out with more buffs or tech and the rich players just buy it. Normal people it takes a year or more to get the upgrades, and you guessed it.. More upgrades lol. This game is made for people who have thousands of dollars to play, if you dont spend thousands of dollars, it would take you 2-3 years to max your base. Trust us. Just turn around.
Lets start by clarifying that you will need to spend actual money to get strong in this game. We have defeated higher level players by purchasing hero packs. We mean, its not too bad as you always have a safety net on resources that can not be looted when you get attacked. However, we believe poor management is killing the game. You will always hear players complain how much money hungry these guys are in our opinion, we think is reasonable as long as you get happy customers right?? Well let us tell you our personal experience. We have spent close to $500 so far this year, and to be honest we dont mind. It keeps our mind off things for a while and its fun to play. What got to us was when we tried to purchase a base decoration, supposedly you are supposed to purchase packs that might have a % of giving you the decor. It starts from like $4.99 to up to $99. Well we decided to go ahead and purchase all of the packs if needed to get the decor. Turns out we bought all of them and didnt get the decor we felt cheated, we submitted a ticket thinking they would be reasonable and at least release the decor giving all the money that we have spent. We get an email back saying, good luck keep on buying the packs until you get the decor. We have decided that we will not spent a single dollar in this game anymore. How can you be this dumb to treat your customers like that? It makes no sense. We manage few companies in real life and management like this will only hurt your company in the long term.
Fun game however there are no blockers in place to protect newer players from Older players. Take a note from gaming consoles and do match based settings to allow for a funner experience.
We love the game through and through but we no longer need the arms supply subscription and we cant figure out how to cancel it.

The game refuses to open after the last update/ iPhone 6plus.
Not a bad game! However, its a spenders game and there isnt any separation between the high spenders & low-never spenders. It often leads people who wont spend 17k a week to quit the game making states dead. We suggest they find away to bunch players together based on how they spend so lower spending players can enjoy the game as well.
We like this game but we dont like how much you have to pay to play.
