It presents a perfect opportunity to operate a lathe machine like a professional machinist, without the actual risk of accidentally getting injured and absolutely no fuss with cleaning up the mess after you finish carving. A simple tutorial leads you through basic game features allowing you to familiarize yourself with the gameplay. ① Lathe simulation gameplay. Pick a material to work on, set it on the lathe and start turning (milling) it to carve your own unique artifact. Enjoy the fun of turning with easy to use controls and without the actual risk of getting injured.
② Realistic turning (milling) physics. Lathe Machine features realistic physics movements as you control the cutting knife’s advancement in combination of 2 different axis. You’ll see the shape take form from a cuboid or cylinder as the material is spinned. Work with a workpiece that is 30x more detailed than in the previous lathe game!

⑤ Customizable knives. You can pick from two types of gouges; one for turning metal and another one for turning wood. Then choose one of 8 different knife shapes depending on what you want to create and also choose 3 different widths. Thus enough customization to create a unique shape.
⑥ Unlockable products. You can unlock products that you can re-create.
⑦ Surprise interactions. Every finished product will be able to be displayed with a little surprise. Some of them will even allow you to personally interact with them.

This is a great Game and it is sure to keep you busy.
This game has amazing graphics and the gameplay is amazing but the only thing that we dont like is that when you knife breaks you have to get another and what happens when you run out of them well you basically have to pay.
Having a real lathe, this game allows the player a natural and fun way to get a visual of how different knives will cut and also allows for a good visual perspective of ideas without wasting wood. If you dont have a wood lathe then plan on getting one if you play this game!
Updating our rating as the developer resolved the in-app issue and added a restore purchases option!
We have completed the first job but am unable to open the second job. We also paid for the unlock all jobs and knives options but never received our in app purchases. Have requested refund from Apple. This is a waste of time and money.
We previously bought the game and went to rerunlock everything and it said you bought it do you want to unlock again for free? We said yes, a d it said successful but we still dont have all the tools etc. Fix this a d Ill up to 5 stars.
Im an amateur woodworker with a Taig MicroLathe II. We got this to practice virtually turning would without having two Waze blanks And it has done a fantastic job Its very realistic, and we are sincerely impressed by the app The premium version is well worth it. That being said, we really would like to have an update at some point that would let us turn wood by hand holding the tools instead of having to adjust it on the machine by pressing the arrows. If there was someway to hand turn the wood, this app would be almost perfect. The only other thing that we could think of would be if premium customers were able to select wood blanks off of a list instead of having to do it through a level.. Basically, a freestyle version where you can do whatever you want to with any piece of wood that you want to. If they added both of those things, this would be absolutely fantastic.
Kinda frustrating not having blueprints to work off of. Not enjoyable using your imagination haha.
