We open letterpress the moment we fill our coffee. We always have a lot of games going. It pushes us!! We have about 30 games going. And with some contacts 5 or 6. Different games. We loves that its in different time zones. There are always letters to fill during the day. What a great game!!! Thank you.
This is a really fun game that we like.
Love this and our best friends do, too. We live in Hawai’i and hardly use our real vocabulary. Keeps our brain sharp and great while waiting for someone. We hate cheaters who don’t rely on their own brains. But Dictionary is really limited. We have had many solid English words rejected. Hope they update!
Love it so do our friends Super game one of our games our friend and we have made more than 2000 words we keep going to see how many we can make on this one just for fun.
This is our favorite word game. We still play Words With Friends, but its gotten so gummed up with add-ons and hints that theres less and less pure skill involved. This one is simple, elegantly designed, and free of all that. Its also different; not just another Scrabble re-mix. Update 3/2023: After recent update of our iPadOS on a 5th gen. Air, the game board has moved to the very bottom edge of the screen in portrait mode. This puts the on-screen flip up bar on top of the bottom row. Work with Apple to fix this please. Still love this game.
We loved the game but the ads every other turn destroy the flow and experience – so much so we deleted the game.
All of a sudden the game wont load? We tried re-installing and still nothing. Worked fine this AM. Wont work on any device.
Several years ago, we bought the premium version of the game so we wouldnt have to be bothered by ads. When the game recently froze, we downloaded a new version. When we subsequently stated on this site that we found ads on the app, admins made sure that the no ad feature continued. Thank you! We thoroughly enjoy the challenge of the game and the ease with which it normally works.
This is a fun game that one can play against the AI brain, friends or random competitors across the world. Keeps the brain agile and provides hours of fun.

Easy to learn. Adaptable to time constraints. Only drawback is that the player that plays first has large advantage. We are finally learning to spell.
This game says PAY FOR NO ADVERTISEMENTS, but if you pay, when you upgrade your phone, YOU MUST PAY AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. This is pointless and false advertising! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!

Such a great concept, we’ve been playing this for years, but for the life of us we cant believe the amount of words that the Games dictionary does not recognize. Also, it would be great if you could delete multiple games at once.
This is a 5 star game and we love it, but for the last few days our on-going games show up as forfeited. And they show that we made a play only one day ago. Whats up with that? We dont see any other reviews with this issue. Help please. !
We had five active games…. They are all gone! We deleted and reinstalled … You are losing people because its a pain in the butt to have To make the word and then it goes to games and we have to close it and then open again! It was much better when the advertiser left an X so we can continue !
Great quick game with options to make play more challenging. We would pay for an ad-free upgrade but its not an apparent option. Ads are long and difficult to navigate away from.
We have played Letterpress for years and enjoy it very much. However, this new development of forcing us to watch an ad after every single move is ridiculous! If its going to stay this way, Ill have to find a new game. Please go back to the way it was before. No need to be greedy!

We love this game and we play it with all our loved ones. Easy to learn, but figuring out strategies is fun and rewarding. Minimal ad interruptions are appreciated and can be turned off for a small and reasonable one time fee. Some features we would love to see 1) view rotation. Like if you turn your screen upside down the letters rotate so you can see your letters a different way without them moving place. 2) a timed game mode where you race against the clock for a quicker game than the standard daily move style. Overall its a perfect little game and we really appreciate the devs. <33 :p.
Have played Letterpress for years snd today it quit working so we reinstalled it. Now am getting ADS! Very disappointed!
This Boggle meets Othello game is so polished and rewarding. Great to play against other people and the matchups work smooth. The bot option is nice when you’re off-line/out of Wi-Fi range.
Great game that will challenge your brain and make you think deeper about your vocabulary .
Letterpress is an old classic, and we played it back in those days. We were pleasantly surprised to see the developers have kept working on it. It was already great for playing against your friends casually (make a move when you have time). The new polish for social features is a great plus. If you havent played Letterpress, you should check it out!
This is one of our favorite word games. Its very well designed, challenging, and user friendly.

So many possible words are not accepted. Frustrating. Clearly not controlled by fluent English speakers. This could be fixed, and with all the complaints about this, it is surprising they havent tried to improve. In fact, when we complained that they did not accept so many, many words, they were exceedingly rude, and emailed us, calling us a racist because we questioned their familiarity with English words which we found in many online dictionaries.
Super game- and responsive business, we love their gig – plus it’s the best user interface in games today- both beautiful and intuitive – a fun break, 3 minute challenge and a way to ‘connect’ with a friend in just one word! Great fun, optional color schemes and chat options and upgrades so reasonable!
The combination of strategy and wordpower makes this game far more interesting than usual word games!

When its our turn and we tap on different letters, the submit button is always highlighted even if the word is not valid. On our iPad, however, the submit button is dimmed until we enter a valid word. This just started happening last week. Please fix!

Endless fun and challenge. Some of the letter combinations are really tough to make words. Of course the computer has a huge supply of words at its disposal. Or you can play a human opponent, your choice.
Letterpress is a gem that deserves more attention. Seems simple at first but this game has a strategic depth that separates it from other word games. Really is remarkable and a joy to play.
Either the bot doesnt respond or it takes at least 5 minutes or more to respond. That is a lot of wasted time.
We play letterpress against our husband every day. Set date. Great friendly brain challenge.
We really enjoy this app! We like that we can play a quick moving game against a Bot, or play more leisurely against different people; even select favorite people a that we like to play against. It’s also nice that there is a built in dictionary, so we can easily learn definitions of new words. It’s a very fun way to exercise our mind a little!
Our mom and we discovered this word game on a trip and played it back-and-forth many times. We live about 60 miles from each other, and have been playing it back and forth for about four or five years. If we dont take our turn in five days or so, mom will actually email us and remind us to please take our turn. Thats how much she looks forward to it.
The game design is simple and compelling. It makes for a challenging and competitive gameplay. However it can be improved with a better vocabulary. Some simple obvious words are missing and there are legal words that dont make any sense in English even going by the most exhaustive of dictionaries. Please make your vocabulary public so the the great hive mind improves it for you.
