Description

After a lengthy radio silence, Taylor returns at last! This brand new adventure finds the hapless astronaut on the other side of a black hole, relying on you alone to help make life-or-death decisions in a playable, branching story of survival in the depths of unknown space.

But this time, there’s a twist: Players can also choose to communicate with T2, Taylor’s time-warped, alien-infected “evil twin,” helping or hindering as they see fit. Throughout the story, seemingly simple decisions can have profound effects. Make choices using your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, and face the consequences alongside the desperate astronauts.

Writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) returns to pen this fourth Taylor adventure — the seventh overall in the acclaimed, multi-million-selling Green Series. Whether this is your first interaction with Taylor, or you’ve been a diehard fan from the beginning, you’ll discover a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes.

The original Lifeline took the App Store by storm — reaching #1 Top Paid Game on iPhone and Apple Watch in 29 countries — while pioneering a new narrative experience enabled by modern devices. This story plays out in real time as the astronauts work to stay alive, with notifications delivering new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Taylor or T2 directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app.

Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and discover what happens when you make a different choice. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode.

The story contains no in-app purchases and no ads. An internet connection is not required.

Praise for the original Lifeline:

“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” – Eli Cymet, Gamezebo

“I felt an immediate attachment to a fictional character pinging me from a strange galaxy to my wearable.” – Luke Hopewell, Gizmodo Australia

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” – Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Lifeline: Beside You in Time Reviews

We’ve played a lot of the Lifeline series, but white out is not accessible with voiceover or two users that can’t see. Is there a way that white out can be made accessible? We would like to play that one too. Unfortunately, we can’t. The rest of the Lifeline games are accessible, just not that one.

It was so wonderful to play this series again after so long & have a new addition to our fave astronauts adventures we have so much fondness for taylor & we hope we get to see them again we were so happy with the option to include our name finally too, it added a whole new level of immersion!!

Once again the team at 3 Minute games and the sharp mind of Dave Justus has delivered a great experience and story! Fantastically done, it feels real at times. Wonderful!

We just have a tiny gripe about the pace at the beginning. Taylor didnt even say hi to me.

We like the style of these games but not as much this story. With all do respect to the author, feels like the MCs are now teenagers talking about pop culture constantly. Zzz.

This game is so worth it we’ve gotten most lifeline games and it is like reading a book but shorter and more realistic.

Enjoyable game as usual, good writing too!

THESE GAMES ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY KN PUBLIC WHAT THE HECK.

There are some bugs that need to be worked out but we like it.

We cant wait for the next lifeline game to be released, they are some of our favorites.

We’ve played this one a few times its so enjoyable. We love all of the 3 minute games titles. Its never soon enough for another game to come out. If you liked any of those, youll love this one.

This was really satisfying to play through! The sound design and music for this game, compared to past games, feels even more intentional and had a great deal of texture to it, the inclusion of other characters was an interesting evolution from the previous Taylorverse Lifeline games, being able to input a name was a massive improvementand we kinda wish the old games could have something like that patched in, even if only to have the players name acknowledged once upon Taylor receiving it and not addressing the player by name again but thats just our personal opinion speaking. Overall, we still think Dave Justus character writing could use some tweaking and the choices between best path and worst paths are becoming a lot more binary, and feel like they are abandoning an element of player choice that has been present in other Lifeline games. However, the inclusion of Hydrox the bunny is enough to sway us into bumping our rating up an entire star though, ultimately, we do wish we couldve told Taylor to stuff some vegetables into a bag of some sort (maybe something we could have picked up in another room) poor Taylor and Hydrox will have nothing to sustain themselves on for a good long while, it seems. In any case, this is a great installment of the Taylor series of Lifeline. We would hope that they continue appearing in future games, if more are ever made until then, we enjoyed it dearly.

It was short, but we still liked it!

We’ve loved this series, and Im loving this story! The additional characters are really interesting, and Im definitely invested in Taylor! However, this game has had several continuity errors. We never noticed any in the first three Taylor games. When we noticed one in this game we just figured, hey, writing all this choose-your-own-adventure type content cant be easy! But Im not terribly far into this game and theres been three already. The dialogue options trap us into giving a character information we never got in the first place, or Taylor repeats a bit of dialogue they already gave us just a few lines above That kind of thing. Individually, no big deal! But so many this early in the game makes us worry this game was not as well made as the others in the series. Which would be really disappointing, because the story is great, and we want to see where it goes! Preferably in a coherent, continuity-having way!

This episode wasnt our favorite but the most evolved one techically for sure. It was a really suprising twist they made T2 almost likeable! Cant wait the story to continue.

We were so excited to see this come out! We’ve been obsessed with the life line games since they came out and all of them really had us on the edge of our seat but this one was a little disappointing if Im being honest.

It was well worth the wait! Please continue to make more of these.

This game is another hit for us in this amazing Lifeline franchise! So glad to see that its come back in a great way.

Not gonna lie. Started playing this new game and found out real early you can mess up LOL. Taylor has been apart of our sister and we life for awhile. We played through every game involving Taylor. Lifeline, Silent Night and Halfway Through Infinity. Once we discovered you guys were indeed working on a new game.. We went back and replayed the old games to make sure we are updated for this new one ! Taylor had grown on us and we make sure we try and make the best decisions (lets pretend we didnt get her in trouble already lol) to help her on her journey. Im glad you guys made it through the pandemic safe and sound. We hope we get to see more Taylor games. Well let us go finish this game ! Its already 5 stars. It always has been.

Its been six years since the last Taylor story and Im over the moon that the series is back!

We love the Lifeline games. The stories are fun with loveable characters. We always look forward to the next installment of the series.

Its great to have another story with Taylor. We felt bad about leaving him circling a black hole. Im only partially through but man Im loving every second of it. Thank you for bringing Taylor back.

We’re so glad we finally have the third installment in Taylor’s journey, though short. And we’re very curious on where we go from here.

Happy to follow Taylor again as in the first Lifeline. Excellent writing – they have good inside jokes and refer/conceal some classic references.

Been playing the lifeline games since the beginning and byit is such a great continuation of the story! So happy to see everyones favorite astronaut back.

By far one of the most stressful games in the series, but the payoff is well worth it. Absolutely thrilled to have Lifeline back in our life!

We just wanna knowis there anyway to save T2?

Wonderful dialog driven story, with well developed and defined characters. Funny and gripping, it kept us engaged. Keep them coming, please!

Its so glad to play BYiT after long time waiting! This time we can beside Taylor in time and continue the journey.
