This is an amazing game!!! We havent been playing very long but Im obsessed! The story is easy to follow and the tutorial explains everything! Its not super pay to win yet but you can buy bonus creatures and stuff Overall its a great game and you should play!!!!!!
Im a long time fan of this game whos happy to comment that as of today, 7/14/23, the games back to its former glory with the return of events.
They made an update! Cant wait for another year of radio silence and lack of communication with their community. All that aside, this game is a blast when the events are up and running. We suggest trying it out – just give it a shot.
Is there anyway to bring back the original Lionheart that came out years ago?
We love this game but it glitches fairly often. We also cannot access an account that we had on an old phone and we lost about a years worth of progress because of it. Pretty frustrating.
This is a very fun game, cool artwork and storylines. Its set up in such a way as you can have success at an early stage without having to spend a ton of money like so many games. In game purchases arent absolutely necessary, but modest spending can add to the enjoyment of the experience. This game needs the support of the developers, however. Weekly events have ceased within the last few months. These are sorely missed by the loyal fans of this game. Hopefully these will be reinstated to keep this great product going.
Your Dec 16 update rewards your loyal fan base by 1) imposing more adds for what used to be a small free daily coin payout and 2) charging coins in order to use keys. Are you intentionally trying to push your dedicated fan base away with more bad choices? Or is management and/or the finance people getting in the way of making good choices? You know the things that your fan base wants? Like the return of weekly events. You can do better. If you dont, the remnant of your fan base is going to bail.
We like playing the game but it hasnt been an event in months. They also havent updated the story mode hero tokens in almost a year. Seems like whoever owns this game stopped caring and doesnt even try to make the game fun. It used to be events every week that would give you something to looked forward to now that they stopped its kinda dead. Please do your jobs and make the game fun again like it was before theres really no point of playing it no more.
Liked what we could play. However we unlocked quest and its stuck at moving character to use. The character is showing how to move them and is clear. There are none to move over to use. Help us or fix.
Theres a glitch. When you unlock quests it makes you drag heroes into slots but theres no hero to drag and you cant get out of it. Nothing we can do.
If we could get some support with the vault master it doesnt increase when we make purchases in-game store also theirs a bug with us leveling up sometimes we dont receive exp when we win a battle.
The update 2 days ago now prevents us from opening the app at all. We get a black screen for approximately 1 second then we get booted back to our home screen….
The good: characters, story, writing, combat, animations… Alll excellent! … The bad: economy broken, needs a MAJOR rework. Gold too scarce and prices too high. Playing only a week we have 73 character skill/gear/tier upgrades ready… But not enough gold for one. We do all task daily AND farm…. Time wasted. We are a paying player, but cant justify spending on this game. $50 for 50,000 gold…. A very low level character upgrade can cost 20,000 gold. This translates to even the lowest level characters costing $100s to upgrade… Not worth it. Uninstalling.
Been playing this game for a month now and its been ok at best. The keys and summons are an actual joke. So if your playing to get legend characters go ahead and put that thought to rest. They are never summoned even with the elite special keys. However its not super pay to play so if you put the time in it can be a decent time wasting game. They really need to ramp up the good summons though as you can only get so far with the trash they give you. Two stars at best.
This used to be a good game, but late in 2019 the developers just disappeared. Things started to slowly fail. In app ads were first to go. Then events got stuck in a loop, with nothing new for a year and the quick loot tokens quit changing. Then events stopped all together, and now the game is slowly getting buggier. Now the official rep isnt even around to tell us to be patient anymore. They had a solid player base. They didnt need to kill the game, but they did. Its sad. We enjoyed this little game.
Dont waste your time and money on this game. The developers are bunch of liars with empty promises. The game is dead.
This game has been left to die by the developers with over a 1/2 year of fake promises about an update. This has been done before with these developers, they cash in and leave the game unplayable. If you do download, play it casually. Theres no competition other than the hacked arena that is riddled with cheaters. DO NOT SPEND MONEY to pay to win, it wont get you anywhere, theres too many hacked versions of the game floating around.
Graphics are great, game play is simple & fun. While there is the pay to play component, its not necessary & you can participate anywhere from free to heavily invested. We would say to developers though that some high end character prices are insane imo, we personally wait until those can be won even though we’ve paid plenty to support the game myself (including monthly & weekly) because we really like it & have no problem paying for our entertainment or supporting artists; including games. Theres enough variation to keep you entertained & we’ve found that we’ve picked this game back up after a pause a couple times. The original creators apparently recently reacquired the rights to the game & content so hopefully game play will improve even more. Id love to see new characters & fresh ideas or challenges. Customer service with issues can also be improved, while they always fix issues, always compensate players for inconvenience on crashes or major glitches, their individual communication has always been awful. Overall though, its a great game & we dont feel like its greedy like most p2p games out there, we feel like we get our moneys worth for our choices, which is saying something.

ECG handed this game off to some minor company so they could make their GI Joe game, the new guys werent great, they recycled events, and didnt really add new content. But in the 4 months since ECG took it back there has been NOTHING not in their social media, not in game, not even the recycled events. This game is officially abandoned. We got a lot of joy over the 2 years we have played, and we are sad to say good bye. There is absolute grind, but we have beaten everything with out paying a dime. Feel free to download this game, but know that nothing will change and nothing will rotate out. No events, no updates. Please dont buy anything, you will be king in a land of ash bones.
Emerald City Games is a well known company for taking peoples money and walking away. We were a moderator for their first game created and they will milk a game for money, adhere to no requests or suggestions by the players, and keep game hopping once people figure out their games. REPORT THIS COMPANY STOP LETTING THEM GET AWAY WITH IT.

This game, the only game that has caught and held our attention for 2+ years! It is incredible, lately, many players have fallen off and the game has gotten much less competitive. We lead a top 5 guild, and that used to mean something. Now, it matters not weather your squad is stronger than others, or if your strategic genius sets you ahead, the lack of individual as well as guild competition in events has made it much less exciting. We (and we imagine 100s of thousands of other players) used to sit on the edge of our seat each weekend, opening the game every 5 minutes to see where we were placed, how our guild was doing. Now, all they do is recycle events. COME UP WITH BRAND NEW EVENT IDEAS!!!!! It will revive the game.

In the guild when we go to give our extra character tokens, it shows special characters and legendary characters that we SHOULD have but when we got to add them to our team theyre not there. We love this game and we’ve been playing for years and have NEVER had a legendary. Why is that???
Amazing game, we’ve had fun with it so far, it hasnt crashed yet and theres something to do whenever you have time. If theres one thing we can say thats bad about the game, it is REALLY difficult to earn gold. The only good way is to keep playing new levels, but there gets to be a point where you cant without the gold. Can we suggest having a daily dungeon on Saturday or Sunday rather than no dungeon? Just something to make getting gold even a little easier? Otherwise the game is great!
Its a fun and fantastic game to play. Tons of characters and easy to advance. However, it has frozen on us ever since chapter 5. And it. Constantly crashes.

We love this game…. When we can play it for more than 5 min before it crashes! EVERY SINGLE MODE CRASHES DEVS! Please fix this! We can not make progress at all in any mode! Even when Im going to win the game keeps CRASHING!!! Fix this please.
Its a great game. Although it seems they have just been dishing out the same events over and over. The story hasnt changed in years. It would be nice if they did a big update and modified the arena a bit. Made a longer storyline and had some new events. We were a big pay to play player, the game is just getting boring now. We will be moving on to another game unless we hear or see a change.

This game is fantastic overall. Great mechanics and progression as well as graphics. Its just an all around really amazing game. But none of that matters because the game itself is riddled with game breaking bugs. The quest we need to go on to continue the game wont load. We’ve tried over 20 times doing various different things to try and solve the issue. This is preventing our from leveling up and accessing the entirety of the game as well as continue on with the storyline. We would try and delete and redownload the game but we cant because the only way to save your progress is to connect to Facebook, and the link for that is also broken. The game crashes frequently as well making playing the game at all, a real challenge. We even tried to troubleshoot the problem using the Q and A but the information listed here primarily relates to the basics of how to play the game, not how to get around all of the problems that come with the game.
This is an example of a great rpg ruined by a paywall. They ruined the game so much we cant even play anymore. You cant grind for loot. They limit how much you can get tokens and gold and pets etc. But you can grind xp all you like (not that it matters). You need to unlock characters not by getting their tokens but by getting a key that unlocks them. So you can have 100 tokens of a badA$$ but cant use him until you get a key that may unlock him. So many restriction. Instead of energy to play you get tokens to get items. When the token run out you get nothing but xp and you cant even grind the tokens because they let you get it once a day. And the biggest commodity is gold. Gold is so expensive and so little ways to get it. This game gets old real quick. Too bad it had so much potential. Please devs change your business model. 2 daily dungeons??!! – go fly a kite instead.
So we love this game. It has great potential. However we have had several bugs with our game. We have attempted to contact them a few time without any kind of answer. We keep having the game crash over and over. We have played certain boards numerous times trying to play. But its getting old. We wont spend money on any game until we have played it along while and this is exactly why. Dont trust this game until you have been playing at least a month or more. It has been about two before it started. We have updated we have restarted we have done everything there troubleshooting tells you to do. Still have the issues not a difference and no response from them. Sad .
Recently, the game keeps giving us a notification that we have been disconnected from the server and therefore must restart the game. After the restart, the message comes up again immediately. Please fix this, then we will rate 5*s.
This is a decent game with nice hero designs and good turn-based combat, but it is now a dead game. There is no more development. It is only rerun events at this point. The only thing new on a weekly basis is what form of bugs will show up in the rerun events.
The game has had constant issues recently. Most egregiously is a server issue that disconnects people constantly. While the game has been decent in the past (though not without its bugs and issues), the awfully slow fix for a game breaking bug is indicative of the low effort being put into the game.
Its a good game and we want to play more but it seems every 5 min it crashes and we have to restart the game. Which is really bad when youre in the middle of a battle and have to restart it after a crash.

The game is beautiful… But you might never know. The game crashes and boots almost every battle. Maybe you have to pay not to have the game crash also.
Game seems like it has potential but it crashes on IOS a lot. Youre lucky to even get a campaign mission in without the game crashing and having to start over. Cant really leave a detailed review yet since we cant even get past lvl 4 but from what we CAN see the character design is pretty decent and the gameplay is okay.

No updates, server disconnects all the time. Same bugs as 2 years ago. Do not spend money.
App needs an update. Game crashes to home screen after just a minute or two of play. Happens on both current gen 12.9 iPad Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, both on current iOS. Have deleted and reinstalled game on both. Love the game, but its 1 star until this is fixed.
Bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Same boring events. Played for two years coming soon content never came. You have to pay to be competitive, and still dont rank because of cheating. Liked the variety, design and leveling of all the characters but wasnt enough to justify our time or money.
