Wouldnt be better if there was a monthly pass where you can get full version of another game.

Updated: After talking with developer support the iPad version uses two finger click for the puzzles to rotate the pieces. The guides are being updated for iOS to reflect this. Great support from the gompany and a great game. – On an iPad you can NOT right click. At for at least two of the game puzzles you need to right click the pieces to spin them. Cant do this on an iPad. Had to skip the section. When you port a game from PC to IPad make sure you know its capabilities.

We downloaded this game thinking it was free to play with the option to purchase items in the game, but not necessary if you didnt want to skip mini-games (like the Lost Legacy series). To our irritation, the game lets you get a little ways in before requiring you to purchase the game to continue. Feels very much like a bait and switch. We did not continue as we wasnt finding the game enjoyable enough and wasnt engrossed in the story yet either. Id recommend Lost Legacy over this one.

This game has you moving up to 7 to 10 scenes to find things. There is no logic and the some of the puzzles just annoying. After playing just about their entire lineup of games, we really hate this one. It just gives us a headache.

We were looking forward to Living Legends and we immediately downloaded and purchased the full game without playing the trial gameplay. And now, we wish we hadnt….. Theres no story, you dont interact often with other characters, other than the mini movies and another disappointment was that there isnt any collectibles or morphing trophies in the game anymore. Its all landscape, the occasional mini game and HOP.

Great game. Had no problems. We just found it a little too short.

Loved the game! We were very lucky not to have any issues as those we have read about. We so look forward to the sequel.

Love the story line and great graphics.

Enjoyed it very much! Nice long game, especially with the bonus play. We did feel like the storyline was incomplete though.

We are really enjoying the graphics, puzzles and hidden object scenes of this game.

Great game, loved it, no glitches!

It is super weird and we think we should buy twenty of this game. And maybe it will be getting weirder.

A good game for us and our granddaughter.

We’re not sure about some of the negative reviews, but we had no issues with this game. There were no pop ups, hang ups or any issues that prevented us from completing the game. It was entertaining and enjoyable.

Graphics are lovely, game flows nicely, but there are NO spoken words at all. It really ruined the game for us. It takes so much away, you don’t feel like you’re in the story so much as reading a story. Then, a giant, annoying BF pop up ad within ten minutes of starting the game (which we had already purchased). Too bad such simple things as adding voices and not assaulting our game experience with ads took a four or five star game to a sorry we bought it game. The game had no significant delay moving between scenes but can’t get beyond the complete silence. It wouldn’t have been so bad if there weren’t characters ‘talking’ all the time. We don’t know what they were thinking unless this is an old game they are re-releasing from a time before voice? A shame. Even at the sale price, we don’t think we would recommend buying it.

The free intro game was fun, so when it went on sale, we bought it. But the rest of the game was disappointing. The puzzles ranged from easy to boring, to tedious. We skipped a few because we just didn’t care. The moves started out logically, then you were jumping all over the place to find HO scenes and items you didn’t even know you needed. Without the map, we would have been completely lost. And, the map AND hint would fail at the same time in helping you. Leaving you to take a leap at finding SOMETHING to do. The instructions for many of the puzzles were poorly written. One talked about placing items in the right place, but the items weren’t there. When we moved the one item that WAS there, two more suddenly appeared out of no where, but we needed more. More moves and, presto, there they were. Confused and confusing. Poorly done game. We haven’t played the extras yet because, for the first time ever, we don’t care about finishing! Yuck!

The free part got us interested enough to pay the $6.99, but after that it was disappointing. No spoken words, which had not bothered us before, really took us out of the whole game. We didn’t think it would matter as much, but it did. Then, the map didn’t always show where we were supposed to go next. Thankfully, we did have the guide when we were really stuck, but that also takes some of the enjoyment out of the game. Come on Big Fish Games! You are better than this!

We HATE BEING BOTHERED IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME we PURCHASED TO REVIEW IT. We BOUGHT IT SO we WOULD NOT BE BOTHERED.

Really enjoyed this one. Can’t wait for the sequel.

We really enjoyed this game. We felt scenes, and hidden objects were great quality. Looking forward to sequel.

Great to have the flexibility for casual play or more intensity.

We thoroughly enjoyed this one. We prefer no voice overs. The graphics were beautiful. HO scenes were clear and easy to see. The sound was very nice and music enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever.

Well done. Beautiful artwork and good storyline Would recommend to anyone.

Update to review…. We removed the game from our iPad then installed it again and it no longer had the painful loading between scenes! With that major downer gone the game was awesome! Really enjoyed it! It’s just ok at best. We haven’t purchased the last 3 games so we were hoping this one would be a winner! Era specially since it’s listed as one of iTunes best games of the week. No voice overs?? Really! We can’t determine if it’s just a glitch or that’s how it should be. Map works great. Short trial. We’re just not impressed at all.

Love this game! Great story line, puzzles & HOP. It’s a long game -YAY!- and there are lots of twists & turns. Great problem solving. Thanks for such a fun, well done game! Looking forward to other Living Legends games!

We are loving the game and think it’s the best one yet. Love the graphics and challenges… Am playing the "expert" one… First time and much more enjoyable. Look forward to your next game!

We really enjoyed this game! Logical sequence of play. Great map. Will look forward to a sequel.

So far so good. These are the games we enjoy.

We would recommend it to anyone.

What a delightful suprise – a day early even. Art is superb, story line good, gameplay logical and cohesive, has hints and good interactive map. Greatly enjoying this game.

Greetings, Gamers: Thank you, minipawsvolunteer, for your nice words. Glad knowing our reviews are helpful. We were initially unsure about this game, not sure why we were unsure (ever have those moments? ) but we committed and bought and am glad. This game grew on us. Splendid graphics, congruent diary and map. The SG, when referenced, even returns us to the spot we were in in the game when we left seeking out the SG. Most games have kicked us out, but not this one. We love wandering around this wintry wonderland, carving a Jack O’ Lantern…. Wait, that sounded strange, but it works. Odd that we needed a key for a gate to the pumpkin patch — it looked like we could step right over it. Am we deducting a star for no voices? That’s like downgrading a silent film classic for lack of dialogue. 4 Friends Games has created a nice, relaxing, enjoyable game with good story and fun puzzles and HOS. We’re liking it a lot! Shouts to our fave reviewers, those who speak up and those who stay quiet: you know who you are. As this summer weekend fades into fall, May the stars light your way.

Excellent interactive map, Hint button quickly charges. Many HOGs and puzzles, bright graphics. We will purchase the sequel.

This was such a exciting game, we couldn’t stop playing!! We need more like this, these are the H.O.S. Games we love!!

TIP: noticed people complaining about not able to up puzzle pieces… Looks like for some odd reason you have to use TWO fingers. Very odd but it worked for us. Hope this helps. Great storyline, beautiful, fun hidden object scenes!!! It is a must have.

Really nice game. Easy to move around in, good map. The pieces of the map will rotate using two hands, one to tap and the other to rotate, for those having a problem with this. Nice story line. Highly recommend.

This is the type of HOG we really enjoy! Mystery, incredible graphics, great story line and most of all, no pop-ups all the time. This game pretty much leads you on without having to refer to the guide very often so it moves along fairly well. Hope we can find other games of the same type. Keep ’em coming!

This object game was very pleasant to play. The mini games could have a reset button so you have a chance at starting over from the original start position. We look forward to the next episode.

Our first game of this sort. Our 6 year old grand daughter taught us how to play. She has the nutcracker and Scrooge and it caught our interest. We were amazed at her going thru these puzzles. We totally enjoyed this game and had no tecnical we just had a problem putting it down. Awesome time.

Simply fantastic. Gorgeous artwork, clever story, challenging puzzles… It all adds up into a wonderful package.

This game is so awesome. You really need to get it. We just love playing it.

Easy to use and we like the storyline. Great game!

Just played this game on our Mac and playing the sequel now. It’s a fair game once you get into it but we thought it started out slow. Your usual running back and forth finding objects you need to get the job done. We guess there is a map on this one didn’t find in on our Mac it needs one. There is a good one on the sequel. So far we like the sequel better than the first. HOSS we are so sorry for you and your husbands loss of the horse you both fought so long to save. We are sure he is now pain free and running with his best Bud and thankful for the loving owners he had in this life. L/M don’t recall any Rats lol to you Hoss and the rest of the Dream Team. Snooper-158 L/M we played this game days ago an reviewed it. If you don’t find our reviews look under different title exp. Most recent or critical even though that’s not the case. Guess we made a reviewer mad when we said they needed a new reviewer. Snooper.

We’re enjoying this game. We are just at the point to where we have to decide to pay, and we are going to put our money where our mouth (okay, fingertips) are, and make the purchase. With some of the incongruous voices to characters of recent games, we enjoyed the no voice over element of this one. The good: The graphics are sharp, the story is easy to follow and logical, the story also isn’t too spooky or skeevy. There are fun games and traditional HOPs scattered throughout. The letters Edward leaves around are a nice touch to keep the story moving forward. So why did Blueflier rate the game just 4 stars? Here’s why: we’re getting a little sick of wandering fiances that we have go and rescue. The storyline itself isn’t all that original, and the games misses that "wow" factor.. And lastly, we’re not looking forward to winter just yet… It’s quite cold in that game, and we’re still in a lazy-hazy-crazy days of summer mood. Thank you to all those who reviewed and got this fence-sitter to make the purchase. We’re off to save Edward and hopefully he will learn his lesson not to go run off to cold witches’ kingdoms!
