Longbow is a fun and challenging 3D archery game for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices.
Adjust your aim, draw your arrow, and strike distant targets to score big!
Shoot for the bullseye in the village, knock over targets on the castle wall, or destroy barrels from horseback along the 4 kilometer stretch of mountainous terrain.
Longbow's three distinct stages are easy to learn but challenging to master. You'll need to consider the wind, distance, and even your trusty steed's speed to consistently score high! Can you shoot an apple off someone's head? Turn a scarecrow into a pin cushion? These challenges and more await!

Can you master the bow and become a true archer?
HOW TO PLAY:
Slide one finger across the screen to aim.
Press the arrow icon in the corner to draw your bow.
Release the button to fire.
In village mode:
Check the wind speed and direction in the top left corner of the screen.
At the highest difficulty level, the swaying trees, sound of the wind, and debris kicked up by gusts will be your only clues.
Expert mode removes the bow cross-hairs and wind speed from the screen. You'll need to use experience and intuition to score big!
You can earn an extra 10 points if you manage to strike the apple (…not the Adam's apple) in the bonus round.
In castle mode:
Each round is 90 seconds long.
Shoot all targets in a set quickly to score big!
Striking the scarecrow awards bonus points at the end of a round depending where the arrows hit.
Accuracy is important!
In horse archery mode:
Shoot the targets along the highland circuit.
The further away you are when the arrow hits a target, the more bonus points are awarded.
Keep striking targets to maximize the bonus awarded.
Higher difficulty levels increase the horse's speed.

Please can you update the game is the best game in the world we need five stars please.
We love it so much!! But we are going to get the real version because we can only do the village, but archery is our fav sport!! So fun.
Its super fun just dont upgrade or else iv heard it crashes so as long as you dont upgrade.
Do not get this app!!! It glitches every ten seconds. The fire button disappears randomly and sometimes (when the fire button is working) it shoots 1 arrow and then says MISS, so you don't have another chance to fire. Also, in the bonus round, you will fire but the arrow won't do anything it just sits there and you can't do anything. Sometimes you will hit the bonus round target and not give you any points until the next round, which we find frustrating when you are about to get a high score and it doesn't count it. Overall this app just wastes your IPhone's storage.
The game stinks!! We always miss the target.
Can't imagine wasting $ on the upgrade. The disappearing fire button glitch IS annoying, and the aim is unrealistically high as others stated. Don't bother getting.
We should have read the reviews before upgrading! You will play one game after upgrading, then app gets stuck and you cannot restart.

We really dislike this game it is one of the worst we have ever played.
Fun game until you upgrade and it won't let you shoot or restart. It's a trap DO NOT UPGRADE.
The update version is nice with the Castle, etc. However, we much prefer the previous shooting interface w/o the circle, which seems to limits the range of movement and makes it a 2- step process of moving the bow, getting on the circle and then shooting. It is much less like a real longbow. Has for the horse archery, the horse's head is too much in the way–even if you had a Magyar bow.
We loved the game. It was fun and challenging and many good features.

We really like archery, and this is the closet app we have found to it. Don't use the crosshairs, and try not to shoot the lady. We thought that difficult was easier than easy. Our opinion.
We tried the free version and thought it was ok, just lacking depth. We bought the full version thinking it would be more in depth and have more to it. There was no difference AT ALL. It's the exact SAME game! Wasted .99 for nothing.
JUNK , we give the star for grafix but this app is junk. Please dont bother presenting an app that just plane dont work. Thankyou.

This game has a lagging problem. We had fun at first but when everthing wouldnt work right we deleted it! SAVE YOUR $$$! DO NOT BUY.

Fun and realistic? More like boring horrible graphics. We're glad this was free or we would want our $ back. The crosshairs aren't even close to were you shoot. DO NOT BUY.
Physics are so un realistic. We shoot a bow from about 50 yard and we would never have to aim that high but ai the game you have to point it almost at a 45 degree angle to hit the target. This game is a waste of money.
