What Makes Malody V Stand Out
Malody V is a cross-platform music game (Simulator) which is developed by a group of dedicated volunteers. Malody was first relesed in 2014 with Key mode at the beginning. Now it supports Key, Catch, Pad, Ring, Slide, Live and Cube. Each mode has a full featured chart editor and online ranking, also can be played in multiplayer room with friends online.

Community Insight:
We only play taiko, and the game itself is fine, but youre better off imagining playing a rhythm game on a piece of cardboard than using this games currency system. Theres only a handful of official maps you can play, and dont bother trying to download other maps because you need gold. Just let us download all the maps, give more starting gold (its disgusting how little they offer for paying real money for this god forsaken app), or add more official maps if youre just going to lock everything. We cannot reiterate how much of a waste of money this game is. Your system is flawed, and your game is unpopular (for a good reason). Well polished trash. Edit: Found a workaround, just make new accounts and download whatever you want, the maps stick around between accounts. Still garbage that we even have to resort to this. ALSO, the in game way of getting gold is broken anyways, sometimes its in chinese, and even when we do complete it we get nothing. Dont bother with this app. Edit edit: The bugs finally fixed. Dont worry guys if you actually want to play this game just make two accounts and wait for a month. And even then you still have to play by the shroom induced gold system. Edit edit edit: Quite generous now that whatever bug went away. We were just being salty. Game is fine.
Really enjoy this game, wanted a phone app that we could just pull up and easily and accurately make a chart for a song. This gave us just that, and it is very tricky so it helps us improve on 4k rhythm games like FnF.
We like the app since Im a big Malody fan. We also like the editor.
We just recently switched from Malody to Malody V, and although it is a solid game, it still has a number of small issues. Firstly, Im an iOS player, (iPad Pro) and whenever we join a multiplayer lobby, we cant download the chart. We tap on the download button, and it says Cant download the file. No matter what chart Im trying to download, the same error message always pops up. Secondly, the charts in the shop never load. It loads 9 charts under the Recommend tab, and no more charts are shown. Ive waited on the shop page to see if that was the issue, but no more than 9 charts ever load in. Similarly, in the Promote tab, no charts will load in at all. All in all, the rest of its functions work well, and we really like what youve done with the game so far. If you fixed these minor details, itd easily be 5 stars from us.
We cant make the switch Ive tried many times and we can never import charts. We are not tech savvy either so Im pretty sad about this.
Ive been playing Malody for 2 years or so, and Ive been waiting for Malody V to release on the app store. The re design is amazing and its easy to navigate. Theres different modes to play too, so you can always have something to practice on. The new skin design is nice, and easy to read too. But there are some things that need to be fixed for iOS. For example, the front faving camera on the iPhone 13 hides the side buttons, so we cant see them. Also, when you try to import any skins it crashes the game. The skin feature isnt out yet, but maybe dont have the option to import skins if it wont let you in the first place. Lastly, maybe add a tutorial on how to navigate for beginniners? It would help a ton for people trying out Malody for the first time, or switching from the original game to Malody V. Thank you.
