We play this game every day, and love it! After the last ios15.5 update, its acting strange. The lines show dont show up where we touch the screen, but higher up on the screen. The clear function and guess on top works fine though. We hope this is fixable because we miss our daily puzzle.
So glad we found this. We have enjoyed it so much over the years, we just wish it remembered all of the daily puzzles but at least it does the daily puzzles and thats a great feature.
We absolutely love this game. Ive been playing the daily puzzles for a few years now, and we always look forward to the Saturday and Sunday puzzles each week. Theres nothing like a good challenge. The interface is very functional, and there arent many other places online or in book-form to find quality Masyu puzzles, so hats off to such an outstanding app.
The touch is off so the line appears 2 boxes away. We love this puzzle, we hope it gets fixed.
Please speed up game generation. We play at the hardest possible setting and game generation takes ages and ages. At a minimum please generate a new initial board for the same difficulty while Im playing the previously generated board. Other options could be to use the GPU for generation.
We like this type of puzzle and went looking for an app. Thought Id give this one a try. It generates good puzzles; you can specify the size you want, which is good. The annoying thing is that even with very small sizes, the puzzle doesnt fit on our phone screen. Its kind of hard to solve a logic puzzle if you cant see the whole board. We think Ill continue our search.
The clean and simple to use interface works well and looks very nice compared to the other apps we've seen. The puzzle generator can take up to a couple minutes to create puzzles on the harder settings, but it's worth the wait for the extra challenge.
With a recent update, like other users, the taps are not lining up to where lines appear.
We love playing this game every day and the daily puzzles are so much fun! A week or two ago the app stopped workingtapping certain squares didn't line up with where you tapped. It's completely unplayable now :( we tried contacting the team through the app support channels provided and have not heard back at all. Pretty disappointed. We'd love to bring our star rating back up to 5 once this is fixed.
We also began having the problem we tap to make our line and it makes it in a different place. Disappointing. We deleted and downloaded again same result.
Overall, this is a pretty solid little game, the interface isnt perfect and its a little easy to click the wrong place, but we dont really have a better idea for how to do it. One feature we wish it had is the ability to share puzzles with your friends. Sometimes the generated ones are pretty good, but theres no easy way to tell a friend to check it out.
The manner this version of Masyu uses to draw lines is annoying & unnatural. We enjoy Masyu games, but not when its this painful just to do the basic drawing.
