Fun, simple , but complex, great time killer.
Broken for us, iOS iPhone mini 13, cant target enemies in battle with direct attacks only aoe, some kind of bug.
Trash game made by javiwalker. Hes ruining this new developed product. Nobody will play league so enjoy having: stareezy,storb,hypercube as your top three monthly winners. We dont continue as you have no clue how this game works. Keep changing it up since there will not be anyone left to believe in this fake product. Thank you hypercube,stareezy, storb for leading US. This game is valued at 4million. In two month its value will drop to 800k. Hehehehe your failure will be soon.

Its boring, not a single talk about Medals (the bots core, their personality, and their inner strength) or any characters you knew, including the one famous referee. Its a blatant cash grab at nostalgia. If you like card games with customizable characters that affect how the game is played, go ahead, but expect nothing else. Beat bland looking characters 10 times with no clue about what purple crystals are for, repeat for missions with this or that team assembly, pretend to care enough to be somewhat viable in multiplayer (havent tried, not going to bother, but come on its MP, its bound to just be a cesspool of YouTube builds with no sense of fun at all) and laugh at how much better this could have been if they actually watched the show or read the manga.
Game is good, we like it, but it can be way better. Need more parts first off. Its pretty limited to what you can get in game once adventure is done. You can finish adventure in a day. The next part is online battles. Why does the entire team of the enemy go first? We were literally stunned the entire game and couldnt do anything at all. Seems a little weird to let that happen and didnt enjoy it. Please fix that issue and it could be a 5 star game. Something about the battles is just off.
The game is great, the status effects are just overpowered. So just build a poison bot or fire bot and put them last in your line up or even second and you will win every time.
TLDR: Do not download this game (or allow your children to play this game) if you are not comfortable with gambling, gatcha systems, or games that block progression behind loot boxes/in-game purchases. Beyond that, Medabots plays well. 4/10 Let us begin with the mechanics of this game; sufficiently executed. The game mechanics of this Medabots app definitely suits the IP. The gameplay genuinely feels like an extension of the show some of us grew up watching. The Medabots app also captures the collecting and building of Medabots that kids idolized about the show. What children–or gamers in general–don’t enjoy is loot boxes. If you’re reading this review and you’re a gamer, if you enjoy the escapism and the experience that video games offer, then you know all too well how non-immersive, stifling, and otherwise unenjoyable it is to play a game with loot boxes. Countless games end up going no where; no longevity, no "life," no support. A major "Red-flag" of games that end up in the App Store trash bin is a content structure that is based around gambling for content a player needs to progress the game. Many reviews of Medabots mirror the same experience: "I started playing, we got to ‘x-y-z’ point, then we couldn’t progress significantly." The answer to this progression obstacle? Given the structure of content in the game, the development team/producers are telling players, "You have the option to play this game for hours, resulting in enough resources to open the amount of randomly generated parts/content that spending $10 would have achieved in two clicks of a button. What more do you expect? Isn’t that fair?" No, monetizing content progression with loot boxes or a gatcha system is not fair to players, and it’s the fastest way to steer players toward the "Delete App from Library?" button. Players should not feel pressured to spend money in order to enjoy what is genuinely a well executed game–from a game mechanics perspective. 4/10 Would not recommend.

They also get access to a bit of your personal data like most other apps when you download and they can sell the information. AddItionally because theyre squatting on the international name the true creators of medabots aka medarots in Japan- IMAGINEERS the true creators cant make games outside of Japan Its a NFT CRYPTO SCAM PAY TO WIN GAME THATS NOT OFFICIAL.
We love this game. We’ve liked the medabots franchise since we were a kid and found a used gameboy game of it. Then we watched the show aswell. This game is a great new take on all of it. We love it!
It loses connection a bit too much but overall a pretty enjoyable game so far.
After several hours and a few different restarts (chose different characters) we were able to make it to the eleventh mission. It has stumped us now. No matter how many times we try this mission we cant pass it. We can earn keys to buy new robot parts by competing in PvP, but it takes 100 keys just for a single part. You earn 10 keys per loss in PvP and it takes 16 crystals to play a PvP matchand you can only earn crystals by winning one of the free PvP matches. So basically you can only get new robots by winning PvP but you cant win PvP without getting new robots. The people who spend real money to buy new robots are the ones winning all the PvP matches.
The idea is great being able to customize and upgrade your robot, but the only way to get the parts is to fight other people (and win) who have already processed much further then yourself. This causes a horrible grind that frustrates new players rather than encourages them to continue playing. When a new players biggest attack is around 80 damage and other players are drop 150+ every round its impossible to progress.
We’ve played the game for some time hoped to progress without spending money but this game will not allow you to progress and unlock equipment that is needed to progress total waste of time so disappointed because we loved this game on game boy advanced they have ruined this game.
Be warned this game is NOT official, it isnt licensed from Imagineer it is simply a trademark squatter abusing the rights to the international name of the Medarot franchise for their NFT front. This is in no way related to or part of the Medabots show or games you watched and played 20 years ago, and these squatters are the reason why Imagineer (the rightful owners of the IP) havent released anything outside Japan.
We tried to play multiplayer but is no one playing or maybe because we just started. Tried finding match at afternoon nothing tried later still nothing. We also have problem with attack up stat it is useless it doesnt boost enough we found out the hard way. Need to buff or something because having to increase full 100 to get one point of damage increase is not worth it.

Cant believe this game isnt more popular. Love it. So much fun.
It really is a fun game. Easy to grasp and enjoyable. But youre so limited with how you gain parts for your Medabots and its incredibly frustrating. They need to implement more ways to earn parts and maybe implement challenges and/or login bonuses to keep players coming back for that next freebie or to complete any sort of challenge/achievement that would earn them better, or even just more, parts.
We would give the game 5 stars if we could play it. We are rarely able to find a multiplayer match.
Everybodys elses seems the same idk a bunch of glitches the game cool but if they just updated saying that we cant use duplicate parts we say that u guys give us five new parts for each random part you guys made us choose from in the begging it was the choices u guys gave us we used to watch the show as a lil kid in the 90w so Im sorta disrespectful with how the whole games setup has potential but theres problems to it.
The opening of the game is pretty meh. There is no early part where we were like man this is a game we want to sink into. On top of that there are no early player bonuses to hook you. The user interface leaves a lot to be desired. Graphics are okay. Also it seems to have the Medabots we love in the game, but its so bad we have no desire to play the game to get them. Hurt us to give such a review on a game we’ve been waiting on forever. Loved Medabots hated this game. But hey, it may be a game you love. To who ever is reading this its worth trying but we didnt like it.
We’ve been beta testing this game for months. All of a sudden when they released the live version, we went to sign in and and couldnt. It keeps telling us we need a better internet connection. (Um, we have impeccable internet connection in our home, and live literally next door to a Cox Internet building) Tried resetting our credentials, and also tried a new sign-in. Thats not working, either. We bought boatloads of MEDA for this game & cant wait to use it in-game. Sadly, now we cant even play, and Im not OK w/ that. Really hoping they can get us straightened out so we can finally get back into the game. Before, we would have given this 5 stars, but until we can play it, they only get 2, because it is a really well-done game.
We have made about five different accounts, and we will say that the best part about the game is the adventure. However at its current state the adventure mode is too short and we feel that the rewards are too RNG.
