We bought this game thinking it was going to have controller support,I was going to ask for a refund but we really love Megaman x series so we thought Id ask. Can you please add controller support Thank you! So Im here again and we were hoping you guys would consider adding remote support we love this game so much.
Im always going to play this game a lot. But can you make it to where it doesnt make you start over.
We are also happy to see the developers continue to update and support this wonderful game.
We need the ability to rotate the screen so we can play with a remote (backbone controller) That would be amazing!!!!!
This game needs to be harder! Its still really fun! There needs to be mega man x 2 remake!
This game is not a bad port by means but we feel like somehow even in normal difficulty they have to make this game easier. Im guessing because of the touch controls. Maybe adding a controller support would be nice. Also, not too long ago Capcom just release the whole X Series on modern consoles and PC, we would love to see at least X2, X3, and X4 on smartphones too, considering Smartphones nowadays are a lot more powerful than they used to.
We mean its mega man x so its gonna be good but what hold this game back is the touch controls. For as long as we’ve had this version we’ve never beat it because we’ve just not gotten use to those controls. If you added support for a Bluetooth controller or something then it would be even better. Touch screen directional pad needs some work.
The game looks amazing. But theres one thing this game is desperately in need of to feel like it was worth the $5 we paid for it and thats controller support. Why does capcom do this with most of their games. We dont mind paying but come on these games need controller support because the screen controls just dont cut it. Help us out capcom!!!! We need controller support ASAP!!!!! Otherwise this game wont get played as much and thats just a waste of money for a game that should be free.

MY GOD. Amazing game. Tell everyone that worked on this project it was an amazing idea to put the iconic maverick hunter on a iPhone 13.

This game has a lot of similarities to the original game but it doesnt let us do the one thing most important:the DASH! How am we supposed to Dodge attacks without the dash? We f you fix it us and1000000(or more)players will say:AWWWWSOME.

This game is the perfect example of a good iOS adaptation. You know how Disney reboots some of their cartoons in live action but theyre not any good? Well this is like one of those, but its actually good. Also Sigma looks like Buzz lightyear XD.
Touch controls on classic 2D platformer games that require precision like Mega Man deserves physical controller support. Capcom, please add the support for us!
Positives: This is a mostly faithful port of one of the greatest games of all time. Its great to get back into the shiny blue boots of X again and battle iconic bosses in well designed levels, slowly becoming more and more of an unstoppable war machine while the soundtrack of our childhood blasts in the background. Also, we like some of the new features, like survival and time attack; nice touches! Negatives: As close of a port as it is, it pains us that some of the polished details of the original were omitted. The drop ship on the Highway stage, for example the graphic was totally omitted, so you have cars and mechs falling from and jumping into the sky, and it means nothing when you board the ship in Storm Eagles stage. Then, the cloud graphical movement in the background was omitted, which, in the original, showed you gaining altitude as you fought Storm Eagle, and then falling rapidly before you beam out. This hinted at the final destination of the ship, where it crashed into the power plant (more on this in a minute). In the original, this ship was its own character, with multiple appearances and becomes another thing that X defeats on his heros journey. In this version, its a place where he fights Storm Eagle, and this is only because of a lack of attention to detail. Also, we were very sad to see the stages dont change anymore. One of the most unique things about X at the time was your actions on one maps effected others. The aforementioned crash of Storm Eagles ship onto Spark Mandrills stage, the freezing of the lava in Flame Mammoths to make a heart tank accessible, the flooding of Sting Chameleons stage, also for a heart tank every time a level changed, it added a new element, and made it more interesting (and often necessary) to return. This added an element of strategy to your order of map selection; did you want to try to take on Launch Octopus without that all important body armor, or play Sting Chameleons stage twice? Plus, it helped the player see just how much theyve improved and how much stronger X had become. Lastly, there are a couple of features that effect the gameplay in slightly negative ways. The screen changes, for example, often get in the way of smoothly battling through the level, and will turn off your charged rolling shield, for example. The original had two fire buttons; one that was for the special weapon you were using, and one which always fired the X Buster. This gave you offensive capabilities, say, while behind the charged rolling shield, and allowed for challenges like trying to keep a single shield up for an entire level. We get the control limitations of a phone vs. A controller, but we think this button could have been implemented. Overall: this is a solid and enjoyable port of a fantastic game, with a couple fun new modes, but it falls a little short on the polish that the original masterpiece had.

This was a nostalgia purchase for us. The touch screen controls are lacking though. We deleted the app because we were losing due to simple commands not registering on the controls.
That would make the game perfect!
We grew up playing Megaman as a kid. We love the series. We grabbed this looking for that nostalgic feeling. But as far as we can see this is a waisted purchase for us only because its not controller compatible. We mean seriously a muscle twitch series such as Megaman on a touch screen instead of an actual controller its a massive issue.
We contacted app support to get an update that allows for our external controller to work with the game. The screen controls are not user friendly. When the update is available that allows us to use our external controller Ill be able to really enjoy this game.
This needs backbone controller support.
We love mega man x so much but this port is meh. Just play mega man x anywhere else if you can. We beat the game in one sitting and it was an okay experience. If you want mega man x on mobile its okay.

The best thing about this version is the music. You immediately hear familiar sounds but the visuals are not as familiar. The screen size and the proportion of X to the level is off. We could be wrong but we remember the camera scrolling more smoothly with X on other versions. In this version you move X from the left edge to the right edge and then a new segment again. It looks abrupt and weird. The proportions of the controls should be adjustable but in this game they are not. The controls are too opaque and large. There are some control placement presets available to select from. The controls would benefit from more customization options. For sale in the in game store are all the enhancements you can normally collect in the game. In the game store they are sold separately or in a bundle of all. Mastered BGM is also sold. We intend to earn the enhancements through gameplay and listen to the music through gameplay. We do not intend to put any more money into this game. We are a bit disappointed with it. We are however impressed with the lack of data collection. That was a selling point to us. More companies should just sell you the product without collecting your information. Capcom did that part right.
This is a game we have loved since we were a kid but this port not supporting controller makes us not enjoy it.
Needs controller support in order to justify paying for it. We regret downloading it.

We love the mega man series a big fan but this needs controller support definitely if people have to pay for a mobile game its free games that give better experience.
