Mexican Train Dominoes Classic is played over multiple rounds with the aim to keep as low a score as possible. The winner is the player with the lowest overall score at the end of the game! Had another version which we liked better. It quit opening up on our phone! We deleted it and reloaded and it still wouldnt work.
Fun to play. Recently kept freezing on us.
We have been playing the Gold version until recently and decided to try the Classic version. The game is fine, easy to play and almost addictive. However, many times after the first of three matches, the screen goes blank. We have to go back to our desktop, delete the game and go to APPs to pull it back from the cloud and reload. This happens often and is not worth the trouble.
Is there a way to play with a friend long distance.
Our game switched for no reason we see from playing one hand against the board players (with names) to our having to verrry slowly play all the board players ( numbers only) against one player named hope? How can we regain our original play.
Nice game But how do we play with our friends.
Look we know Im playing the free version of the game here, but our God all of a sudden the pop-up ads have gotten much worse. There used to only be ads in between rounds, now there is an ad banner at the top of the screen that makes the game play like crap. Just our two cents.
We enjoy it but the pop up speech bubbles are slow and annoying Ian passed your turn must cover double we think highlight around where next piece or around the name would be sufficient.
We truly enjoy the hours Ive spent playing. We only wish there were an online version so we can either play against members of our family it other online players. Any thoughts of developing such a version.

We play every Tuesday night with our friends. This game is close to how we play.
There is a glitch in the game. We are stuck again where it shows we have 3 cards but we only have 2. It says a move is possible and there is nothing we can do.
We really like this version of Mexican Train Dominoes. We had it on a previous iPad and played without having to view any ads. However, when the game downloaded to our new iPad, it now includes ads. We really am annoyed with ads. Is there any ways to play without? We would rate the game with 5 stars, except for the ads. Thank you to the developer for such a fast response to our review and the solution to our problem. We have changed our rating as a result.
Would like to get back to 1 human player and 2 computer generated players.
We enjoy the game. However, it tends to quit on its own without showing Final results.
This game is fun but after about 150 plays the dice dealt to us is starting to repeat so Im getting bored. We will likely stop playing.
When the tiles were all drawn and no one could play we are all just passing. Cant end the game. You would think the game would realize we are not able to play if we all pass two turns in a row.
We play on our phone and the orientation is great then we go to play on our iPad and we have to play it with the orientation turned to other way and we do NOT like it.
Love this game but the recent ads are becoming annoying. You cant exit from them. The only way out is to close the game.

This is not an improvement to the game. We much preferred it the way it was. The fact that we have no choice to go back irritates us. We liked playing sets of 3 games where you saw your opponents score each time. Why did you mess with perfection.

Hard to win at this game. The 2nd person wins about 2/3rds of the time while the 1st person and player (us) rarely win.
Dont like the update. Didnt need names of other players. Also like the other scoreboard much better. Not all updates are better.
We dont like how now all players but the actual real player get to have a name…. Why can we not put in our name?! Even if you click to go to Facebook it doesnt link to your Facebook like some other games it just takes you to their page. It was bad enough when you changed the colors but now moving the board so that the draw and pass are in the middle put them in the way of play. Not a fan.
We had this on our old iPad, when we transferred it to our new iPad we get all these ads which we didnt have before. We were even willing to pay for removal but they only take Apple Pay, which we dont want. So Im screwed we guess.
After each round, Im presented with a black unresponsive screen. Literally have to shut the game down after each hand. Not worth the effort.

We DO NOT like that they changed to portrait mode from a landscape mode. TOTALLY ruined the game for us. Too little room to line up tiles. We will most likely not play this game much anymore. Went from a 5 star rating to a 1 because of this one change.
Please go back to the tile colors from before the update. PLEASE.

What was wrong with the colors/textures before? This use to be our favorite game and now we are going to have to find a different app.
We hate the new update. It says that it is easier to read but everything is just more faint and hard to read. The bold colors from the previous version were a lot better and much easier to distinguish. There was no need to change the coloring format. The new change in color style is all pastel but is easie to read because the domino numbers are outline in black. We can only guess the developers are trying to make it more trendy and sleek so now its not modern. They should just have another app for this version and name it Mexican train dominoes Modern. Its definitely not classic anymore. Classic dominoes means that they are the definitive dominoes which these hard to read, pastel dominoes are just cheap looking and a knock off.
This is the same game that we used to play under title Mexican Train Dominoes Gold. We loved that game until the developers improved and ruined it. This is the original version, only difference is it is played in portrait rather than landscape. This is the game to get. Highly recommended.
Love playing but don't understand train blocks and can't find explanation.
Love this app but sometimes it just shuts down. Right now game wont close saying we have a move possible and we dont. Do like the format and ease of play.
Our original Mexican Train eventually dies. We tried this new one for several hours, read all instructions and information and gave it a good chance. But we still do no like it at all. It changes the scoring without our choosing it. It changes from 13 rounds to 10 or 5 or one for no apparent reason. It doesnt have an option to organize your train for you. And other problems we cant remember. We want our original game back.
Paid for it and it still has a million advertisements. What the heck? And then you can upgrade. Just give us the old Mexican train back that we paid for. Dont like the new version. We dont understand why we keep getting a notice to pay .99 cents.
This format is terrible!! A group of us play this several times a week but this app should not be called Mexican trains! Terrible and rules seen to have changed on app. We removed it.
Why does it seem like 2nd position wins most times? Seems unfair.
Playing Mexican Train dominos is our favorite game! Its a great option to play when theres no one to play with.
Love this game but the ads have a great many Xs and Done you have to continually hit to move on to the game. The Xs keep getting smaller and a finger tip tap just doesnt cut it. Immediately you are taking to the ad. Very annoying.
We just downloaded this game againhad fun playing round oneand thenthe adwas soooo slow, and sooo longand had to click 3 times when it endedto get back to play round 2. Reminded us why we deleted it. Wish the ads were shorter. We dont pay attention to them anyway. Sorry.

We downloaded this app and went to play it. Was looking forward to a game. THE APP WOULDNT EVEN DISPLAY PROPERLY ON THE SCREEN. It should be removed from the App Store until it is fixed. Our wife had same problem.
