This version of Minesweeper has no ads.
We have played 4-5 versions of this game on the App Store. This one just plays nice. We waited a few weeks to write this review. Just works as it should.
Single vibrate when flag is placed along with a little graphic confirming the flag. You dont have to hold the space very long for the flag to appear … This makes it far superior than any other minesweeper Ive played. There is also an expert level which is challenging. You can zoom in and out and move around tree board easily.
Just saw review by someone having issues with expert puzzle level, we havent got out of hard. Multiple issues. We had every square either marked with a bomb or empty & the counter said we still needed 4 bombs. Also same puzzle (& others) there were squares that read a certain number of bombs but all squares touching them were numbers or empty. Really enjoyed it til that happened.
Freezes up way too much. Screen freezes. Game crashes.
We were glad to see the recent update to add different difficulty levels. However, the expert puzzle isnt formatted correctly, with active cells that fall below the bottom of the visible screen on our iPad. (we are NOT zoomed in.) Took a screenshot to send to the support group to let them know of this issue, but the link to app support here just goes to a webpage offering another one of their games! Nice game, but if they offer no way to contact them, they dont want to improve via user feedback.
Wouldnt let us plant a flag on last two squares (one with flag, one open) Dont like your flag planting.
Game is fundamentally broken. It will not correctly calculate how many mines are near a cell at the bottom of the screen, or its cutting off a row from the bottom. Maybe it works on iphone but not on iPad. Get another app. Dont waste your time. Lots of free minesweeper games on the App Store.
Improve critical thinking and memory.
Too hard to hit the correct square with fingers.
The interface has issues. You cant easily press on corners. It ignores them for the first several presses. The ads after every game that go on forever…. The most annoying though is that there is only one level. You can not change the number of mines or grid size. For a free game, we could accept for awhile. Good luck working the bugs out. We would like this game once the glitches are dealt with.
We played this game when we were a kid and really liked it. This version is nothing different than the original except the excessive amount of ads. It would be nice if there was a way to disable the ads but there isnt.
DONT INSTALL. WAY TOO MANY ADS.
It is all luck and it doesnt work properly.
We dont usually review apps, but this version of minesweeper is all messed up. It tells you there are a certain number of mines but there are actually more. The numbers dont match up appropriately with where the mines are… This version is awful.
There is an advertisement after EVERY game…win or lose.
